No racing today but there was a cache, avoided the mud puddles as we negotiated the cache TFTC
Nice quick find once a muggle leaving the facility drove off down the road. Cheers Gav [11639]
The cache was right where it should have been. Car 66 was a good number.
Thanks to YeahRight80 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Went straight to this one and found it in the first place I put my hand. It was easy at night, but could have been tricky today with the drag racing on.
An easy find, the day after a night race meet at said track. Was a great night. TFTC
A really easy drive by, I could have done this without even getting out of the car if I had of looked before I opened the door. TFTC.
Cant belive it I didnt see it the first time I looked.
Checked the clue which had me scatching my head given I had convinced myself it wasnt there.
Finally checked again and had a DOH! moment.

I though from the cache name that the cache may have been in an old burnt out car.
I'm glad that it isn't.

We had been sharing Whyalla with a whole lot of cars on the back of trailers (probably heading for here). So it was only fitting that we should have a cache to find here. TFTC
Found with 'The Hunta' and my Schatzy, while out and about for the afternoon.
The only racing being done today was us from cache to cachr

Quick drive by found with no problem. I have never seen a 1/4 Mile Drag Strip so enjoyed seeing the one nearby. Seems like a lot of money, rubber and fuel go into such a short trip!! [?] !! [?] Personally not my thing... BUT each to their own. We drive around wasting time and fuel looking for plastic boxes and small containers hidden everywhere !
Ah well.... some ppl do not "get" Geocaching, each to their own!

Our last cache for the day....Ms Bushies2 found it quickly...stayed near the track to have a beer and play the ball with our dog Ned...before going back to our caravan park nearby. Thanks YeahRight80 for bringing us to the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1715. Just as we pulled up, an aircraft took off and flew directly overhead. Looks as if this place gets plenty of use. Our thanks again to YeahRight80.
Did this one today during a caching excursion in and around Whyalla.
Looks as though the drag strip is being renovated for the next season of drag racers. In the meanwhile I hear the drag racing taking place every evening in the streets of Whyalla! Never have I heard so many cars spinning their wheels and revving their engines anywhere else in the world. Is this a Whyalla speciality perhaps? Better get that drag strip finished ASAP.

Found it with our friends are learning the game with intentions of maybe becoming cachers themselves. TNLN TFTC
