Had a second look this morning after having my spot confirmed by a previous finder.
Checked thoroughly again and put my hand in places I probably shouldn't.
Could the CO please check on this. I hope it hasn't gone awol

After a nice wander around gathering the info, it turned out we were fishing near the final GZ.
So while the geokids watched the dolphin and fished, koala53 and I hunted.
And hunted
And hunted
But came up empty. We are staying nearby for the night so if the CO lives nearby, and want to come for a laugh and watch us again in the morning, feel free to send me a message

That one was difficult to find. I was determined to find it this time. Certaintly wasn't where I was expecting to find it
Cache is where it should be. We don't usually check caches after only two DNF's as they are frequently there, as was the case this time.
Out and about with pprass on this wet and miserable morning. Less muggles around. Picked up all the clues while reading all about the local disasters. Got to Hz and had no joy at all. Beautiful area for a walk. Thanks for bringing us here
DNF at 10:19 AM. We were pretty sure that we worked out the correct co-ords - a leaning tree next to a fence on the bank of the river. However we just could locate any cache.
Tftc. Happy to finally claim a smiley on this one. With greene11. The kids had a play in the park whilst we went in search.
great morning for geo with baconfamily 33 TFTC and thanks for replacing

This one must be truly well hidden or it's gone missing. Can owner please confirm
The cache is probably gone. Had a good hunt but could not locate. Maybe CO can fix.
After visiting all of the waypoints with jeremy1991 and samy1991 we calculated the final coordinates.
A short stroll and then a very thorough search failed to turn up the cache.
We headed over to the beach where we then hosted our first ever geoevent.
Chatting with a group of local cachers for 1 1/2 hours was a great way to unwind.
With our GZ confirmed we headed back for a final look.
The cache seems to be missing. (of course I may just have missed it as I was still getting over our son's wedding.)

Spent a nice afternoon looking around for this one, but after looking in many nice likely hiding spots, I will have to add my dnf to this multi :-/
Its not often we concede defeat, however will have to with this one.
We collected the necessary data to determine GZ and then have 6 people who spent about 30 minutes searching without success. Mr K & Mr Tiger Rose returned later in the evening and spent another hour looking and revisiting the waypoints to ensure the GZ co-ords we had were correct. Co-ords were confirmed but no cache found.
We may return in the next couple of days for a final look if we have time.

We though we had the co-ords correct, but after two careful searches have had to mark as a DNF
FINALLY found this one today after what must be the 4th or 5th attempt! It was on the ground again, so I've replaced it where I think it was but CO may want to check.
Thanks rjm1
Thanks rjm1
To celebrate world outdoor day and get the souvenir we set out on this walk today. Started the wrong end because we were walking from marls ton hill, so walked back and forth a few times. The path has a detour because of work on the boat launch area. Very interesting history and nice walk this morning. TFTC
A quick find today after co had replaced it and a nice new log sheet to sign thanks for the informative history lesson
Just went and checked on the cache and after finding it on the ground it is back where it should be.
A nice walk along the trail to find the required numbers. Took me a minute to find the cache, but I got there in the end.

Found it and logged it. It is rusted and lid broken off put it still fits back in.
I can replace container in next couple of days, more than likely tomorrow if owner likes. Just painting up an idenitcal container now

first time i've used a gps, previously it was my iphone so today i tried my first multi. it didn't take long for the coordinates but finding the cache was almost mission impossible, it even came to me wading in the water. in the end i had the cache in hand but when i tried opening it, i found out it had rusted shut and wasn't able to sign the log.
We have been in this area many times but never even noticed the plaques let alone read them.
Thanks rjm1 for bringing this bit of local history to out attention.

This was one from a row of caches during our (geocaching-) holiday trip through the beautiful WA. Nice and interesting short walk. TFTC and greetings from Germany to all Aussie-Geocachers
Started at the wrong end but we were successful anyway! Had a whole birthday party looking for this one! Found it after some careful reading of the logs and another look at the coordinates which were spot on. Converted a few muggles from our group today. TFTH
Here with the Bogunupians (and a whole heap of muggles, ripe for the converting!) for a birthday party. Took a muggle to find it after a big search of the area! Good fun on a beautiful day. A special treat of a dolphin swimming by! TFTC
I don't know why it had taken me so long to get around to doing this multi. It proved to be very simple, and I enjoyed the short walk between waypoints. The cache itself was a quick find, and I was happy to have earned another smiley face here. Thanks rjm1
We found the container on the ground, i could see where it was attached to so placed it back up. TFTH
Well, I made hard work of this one. I had the instructions written on paper and they went over the page. GZ was a plaque about the man who the park was named after. And I could only see one other plaque. So I rode between the 2 for a while and then gave up. Rode around to the Thames Barrier cache and passed the other 2 plaques on the way. Rode back to GZ where it took me ages to find the cache. I searched the entire tree near GZ before eventually feeling the cache. I noticed I had the other 2 WPs written down, but they were at the very end of my instructions; not my brightest moment! Thanks for the cache rjm1.
We really enjoyed this multi and all the history (even about how the park got its name). The park and footpath were very busy but luckily we were able to search and search and search before eventually a yah mr ally's angels found it.
We were excited to find the necessary WPs while on a stroll by the waters edge. Returned the next morning to make a quick find. Rust beginning to effect the container. TFTC
We did the clues for this one some time ago, but came home empty handed, This time with a fresh look, found it very quickly TFTC

Took my host for a walk to introducer her to our addiction. First and second waypoints, no trouble. Had to stop back at the unit (on the water front right in front of one of the waypoints) while the rain cleared. My host had to leave, so I got to the business of finishing by myself. Managed to put two waypoints in the GPS wrong, so walked right past #3, drove to the other car park, realised the error of my ways, back to #3, back in the car to the other car park and finally arrived at GZ. Eventually had the prize in my hands after a 5minute search. How can such a simple multi become difficult? I gave myself a stern talking to!!! First cache down for the “Albany ABCD Challenge”
Nice day for a lovely walk and easy find if you think about it. Took me about 3-4 minutes to find cache but still enjoyable as we did it as a family.
TFTC. And thanks for drawing my attention to this interesting stretch of maritime history.
found while on an early morning walk, while waymarking, i did find all the clues on my walk and was able to de-code the final co-ordinates. but the lazy can get the clues from the waymarks. defeats the purpose though really. tftc.tnln. ps. luckily the tide was out
Took us ages before Mr Bushies2 found it when he decided to take his boots off and rolled up his jeans and walked along the water. Our dog enjoyed the park and played with the ball...then dipped in the water but he tried to drink it then he spat it out, very funny as we live in Kununurra we often take our dog to the local waterholes with fresh water which he always lapped while swimming...a good lesson for him. Thanks rmj1.
Easy find after a pleasurable walk (walking off the fish and chips) TNLN SL TFTH
Found all the waypoints easily, had a bit of a hunt for the final cache as we kind of new were our GPSr's were pointing to GZ so had a good crawl over the trees! The widened the search a bit and quickly had the cache. Thanks for the hunt, SL.
fantastic day for walk and nice easy find in the end to restore the confidence. TFTF.
I had started my walk to get the other caches just done from here and collected part of the information on the way. After arriving back I collected the rest and soon found the container. This was cache number 19 for today's trip.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Walked the circuit and grabbed a few other caches on the way.
When we arrived back at GZ for our picnic lunch at our car we watched a geo family searching for it as well. Wouldn't have known what they were doing if we weren't fellow geo-cachers. Kids are a great disguise!
Went up and introduced ourselves and swapped a few stories with Kestrel5. Fantastic to see a family out caching together.

This gave a very pleasant walk around the river bank for our third multi this afternoon. Great hide TFTC
I was very surprised that there were only 2 names on the log. I have been trying to get here for over a week and got here at last. Great cache. I have been around here quite a bit but never examined these monuments. Thanks for making me take notice.
Parked in the wrong car park so I did far more exercise than I planned to. Interesting series to get the numbers. Put my gps down exactly on the co-ords and the cache was 3 inches away!
Thanks for an interesting walk.
Thanks for an interesting walk.
FTF! We were very surprised to find that this hadn't been logged before us as we had been beaten to another new listing a few hours earlier this afternoon, and this one had been published prior to it. Thinking it would have already been logged by Moneybox and also put off by the drizzly weather, I decided not to rush out. However geo-hubby wanted a coffee in town after work so we decided to have a go. Wow, what a surprise, we had no idea about this area and at 1830, the walk between waypoints was so lovely with the lights reflecting on the water. This is the kind of multi we love - learning about the local history and picturesque as well. Thanks for bringing us here rjm1, we are sure it is going to be one of our favourite picnic spots now!!
