Found it! I used to play tenpin bowling and even participated in bowling championships at Ashmore back in the 1990s. Aussie Liahona, thanks for the fun and for placing this cache for everyone to enjoy and for highlighting this area.
Gave this a bit of a cleaning around the lid and it seems o.k. now. Please don't punch the lid down - just place it gently on top and it shouldn't get stuck.Cheers and happy geocaching!
Found it, brought the obvious liquid But couldnt work out how to access the top to use the tool I brought with me Had some other ideas but might have to come back with those ideas.
We came armed with what we assumed we needed for this cache. Spotted it easily ...... But could not get into it. Unless there is a special way to get into it that we didn't figure out the top is stuck hard??!!
I guessed the needed tool correctly and showed up prepared These types of caches are always funTftc
All good to go. Think about what you need and bring it with you. Cheers and happy caching!!
Whoops. We have been away from home and just got back. Purchases have been made. But putting it together still needs to be done. It's not forgotten.
I have been to the site and discussed the cache with the site managers and they are happy for it to return and one of the family has even cached before so they are glad we are replacing it. Purchases need to be made and building will proceed and get this one back up and running within the week.Cheers and happy caching!
Well this certainly has had a good run. It's been in the same location for 13 years with only occasional maintenance needed.
Just now it's not there. I have to investigate.
So disabling this for now until we make another or.................

Start of a week on the Goldie, and quickly grabbing a few target caches in this area first. No issues here, but needs some CO maintenance to reinstate the full experience.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for entertaining me at this location.

Easy find, but as the container is no longer attached it wasn't the promised challenge, but I can see what would have been required
One of the cleverest caches we have found! Found the container quickly but had to go on a scavenger hunt to find a way to get the log book out. Thanks for placing!

Early morning start for a day of caching with Peppa on the Gold Coast. I had no list of caches but Peppa managed to find some we both haven't found.
Peppa mentioned we needed to stop to grab a drink and bathroom but didn't expect so much water. (He usually drinks coffee milk) It became clear when we arrived at gz what was needed.
The cache was soon "found". With log signed cache returned. Clever cache.

A day on the fabulous Gold Coast with Patrol14 caching through Parkwood, Molendinar, Southport & Main Beach… An easy day attempting to clean up the map…
I’ve actually been here once before, but turned up unprepared… so knowing it was nearby, stopped and acquired the necessary supplies…
A team effort and didn’t even have pretend to be a little Dutch Boy…
Thanks Aussie Liahona

Phew, found the cache on the first trip, but took 3 trips to find the right tool to retrieve the lid, still not sure we did it the way that was intended! TFTC
Found it while on walk waiting for daughter to finish some work meetings. Nicely executed cache. Replaced as found.
I think my phone is still using satelites from Adelaide as cache finds seem to be a little off.

On the Gold Coast this Easter to give the geowife a relaxing break in lieu of my normal hectic taste in holidays. You can do whatever you want babe, I just want to stop and do nothing. To that end I left her at the apartment on a overcast morning that still have a bit of warmth, and headed out for a couple of hours of caching. Working back through the area I’d started on yesterday afternoon, I moved onto this cache, and soon located what I was looking for.
Signed the log and replaced the prize back in its hiding place.
Big thanks to the Cache owner for making this cache available to be found.

Came today to give the cache a bit of maintenance, some new zip ties and freshened the paint.
Cheers and happy caching!

Goldy is off to Gold Coast, with my friend Jimmy along for the ride on a half caching and half tourist attraction trip.
It was good to meet so many locals at our event at the Surf Life Saving Club. Truly awesome to witness the culture, traditions and vibe of a new set of people. You guys were awesome to be around!
I also reached 2500 cache finds while on this trip which was an added bonus.
The humidity though really got to me, Adelaide is freezing so I was not prepared.
A big shoutout to SaintsMadHouse who took us around a nice cache tour of the area to see some highly favourited caches as we were without a car. Love the effort Kez put in for us.
A very awesome cache idea indeed! There was one in Wallaroo back in South Australia which I never got to do due to it being archived.
When I realised what I was at I was very happy. I appreciate you efforts to bring us these awesome caches!
Brilliant stuff!
Thanks Aussie Liahona for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 2505 on the 18th of February 2023.
**South Australia is hosting a Mega! February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide. Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward**

Coords slightly off but I wanna make one of these when I’m older thanks for the creative cache! Had a lot of fun, logged and signed
Finally catching up with my back-logging*
Down on the Gold Coast again today for my whale research survey. I decided to grab this one after my survey and I'm so glad I did. After finding a few caches like this in the past I knew what I was required. Although I've done these in the past I still had the biggest smile completing the task. Thank you so much for creating such fun and creative hides for the community to enjoy. TFTC!

A very novel cache. A good thing the bowling alley was open, so we could load up on supplies to attack the cache.
Another fav point.

A drive down to Ashmore for a course at TAFE today. After it was done, I had a couple of hours to tidy up a few loose ends and grab a few extra caches around the area. First off was a series in a park land area behind TAFE. I walked around here and some side streets, making a circuit of the walk. Then it was a cache on the way to me finishing off a lab series.
This one had me on the wrong side to start with and searching for a tap, wrong. Maybe it is on the other side, and as soon as I walked around I spotted the hide. Seeing some familiar pipework I knew what I had to do. I managed to get the container out and then the log. the log was a little damp but still able to be signed. I signed the log and returned all as found. Thanks for the cache and the hide.

Thank you for hiding this geocache Aussie Liahona, without hiders the game wouldn't exist

This weekend, I am staying down in the Gold Coast at Broadbeach celebrating a bucks weekend. Today, with those festivities over, it was a chance for me to explore some of the areas around the Gold Coast. I made my way north through Main Beach initially, and then had a jog around The Spit. It was a sunny day, and the beaches had drawn a fair amount of people. After then having lunch at Robina, I returned back north, and explored a few areas around Carrara, Ashmore, and Molendinar. As light faded, I made the decision to head home back to Brisbane.
This geocache was on my target/bucket list due to its high Favourite Points (FPs), with 61 FPs having been accumulated as of the time of this log.
As I made a loop in the area, I was going to park in the other side car park, but in the end, I parked on the other side, and luckily this was the correct approach (so I was quite lucky, as the coordinates suggest to come from the other side - perhaps the reason for a few past DNFs?). Consequently, my GPS had the cache at S 27° 58.997' E 153° 22.967'.
The cache was fairly quick and obvious to spot, and I soon realised the reference to this geocache's name. Normally I have the right preparation for caches like these, but this particular "TOTT" has been waiting next to my car, ready to be loaded. Luckily, a personal bottle was just enough to get the cache out so it could have been retrieved. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and another Favourite Point from me to be added to this one. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The cache is safely in location. I did not grab it. I’ll leave it at that because I don’t want to give spoilers.
A creative cache with a twist. We came prepared and left with a smiley. Thanks Aussie Liahona and fav point alloc
Took my nephews bowling tonight as it was the last time I could take them out before I had to go home. The boys had a blast at the bowling so we decided to give this a crack after the games. We had scoped it out prior to bowling and knew what we needed, fortunately for us there was a source nearby and we soon had the cache in hand, signed by myself, Lennox and Leland before replacing the resetting the cache as found.
Thanks for the fun Aussie Liahona, the boys both loved it adding a fav point for the smiles on my nephews faces.

GPS was W A Y off; had me in nearby carpark, but knowing what I was looking for I soon spied tell tale signs regardless. Had what I needed but not enough, so, came back, task achieved & reset for next cacher. In 1000+ caches, only 2nd 1 of this type encounteredT4TC
Found it but as the title says we were lacking liquidity so will have to go back another day to play TFTC
Found yesterday but lacked the secret ingredient. Returned today and claimed the prize.
A great hide here, kestal and I found this just before departing the coast. Thanks for an excellent cache, Aussie Liahona.
Last find for Caro and I before heading back up the range. Great hide and TFTC Aussie Liahona
Headed out for a Xmas party and came across this cache not far from the entrance to the bowling place. Impressively I managed to get three strikes in 2 games which for how uncoordinated I am was more than a little surprising. This cache is very cleverly done and with a little thought we had it in hand. TFTC.
I couldn’t figure it out in awhile .
Mmmmmm thinking thinking thinking thinking pop up light bulb
Big big smile
So clever
Well done CO

The inside of the cache camo was already saturated when I arrived.. so the log was quickly signed. I used the reccomended procedure to dry out the container for the next finder
Thanks for the adventure
Thanks for the adventure
We worked out where cache is, but Too much thorny green waste for Uksquirrel and I to tackle. We'll be back another day..
Found quickly but is difficult to reach at the moment with piles of thorny palm branches piled in front. Liquidity? Luckily I did not have to quickly convert assets into cash to access the cache today.
Arrived at ground zero and was hoping that I had enough of what I needed to get my hands on this cache... ummm no quick look around and I was able to continue with this fun hide. Name on the fresh log. TFTC
Repair adjustments made to the cache and it's back in proper working order.
Cheers and happy caching!

Tftc. Name and description reminded me of one cache in my home country, so I was prepared as I arrived to GZ. And yes, my thinking was correct. In fact the camo is so loose that there might be big temptation to retrieve the container ’wrong way’.
Stortigirls and I had planned a day of caching at the Gold Coast. For various reasons, our plans were shelved for the day. On our way back to the Highway, we were passing by this cache, so decided to stop. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
I was out for the day with Selva Girls collecting smilies in the area today and she kindly stopped so I could make a find here. A quick find hereand off to the next cache. Tftc Aussie Liahona
2 Oct. 2018 13:09.
With an event to attend at Broadbeach in the afternoon, I spent the day caching my way down there from Brisvegas, nabbing some solved puzzles and anything interesting along the way.
I dropped the ball and had no idea I'd need to bring the required tool here, usually ones of this type I've found are puzzles. Lucky for me, the last finder forgot the crucial final step which should be done when leaving, and so when I arrived the inner container was within easy reach . I reset the contraption so the next finder will not be as lucky as I was. Loved the construction here so am awarding a fave.

Out caching today with 4 other Kiwi's, 4 of us (Rebel98, rustynz and Batgirl5) flew here to the Gold Coast a few days ago and we met up with our caching buddy lokky1 who is now a resident of these parts. We're on our way to Tamborine Mnt, we passed by an Anaconda store, whereby rusty wants to buy new tramping boots. We are a little early 8:45am, so came here since it was a close-by cache and it was on our devices since it has high FP's.
Parked up, and instantly knew what to do to release the cache, it's a beauty alright! The lid was quite tight, so once we got it off, we put it back on losely, to make it a little easier for the next visitors. Cheers A.L.

We are on our way to Tamborine, but made a detour to this cache (we had saved a few caches with high favourites to the GPS, before coming into town on a caching adventure)
Finding parking nearby, we all set off to find the cache. Eventually I found myself on the right side of the fence, and with all of us assisting, the log was eventually retrieved.
Another fun hide from Aussie Liahona, thanks for the cache.
