A nice coastal walk after a nearby appointment lead me here on a sunny mid week afternoon.
I was having trouble with my iPhone GPS - as I was walking along the path it was telling me that most definitely I was 100% in the middle of Beach Rd constantly 35m from the cache!
Bloody new iPhone map technology!
So I used the hint to confirm the likely site and soon had the cache in hand.
A nice part of the world and a great walking track. Thanks and cheers!

no muggles around and was a quick find, a large group of muggles arrived as i replaced the cache so that was a close call, NO trackables as listed, tftc
A beautiful day, and a lovely spot. Found almost instantly by geokid #2 - he is excelling! SL, left joker card. TFTC
My in-laws live not far away, so I had a wander down today. Thankfully, no one around so I had a chance to look around without any muggle activity. Despite what your reading may be, it is not down there, so please don't risk a fall. Look further up.
Thanks for the cache, cacheartists.

Great location but cache box is in a very awkward spot to retrieve. But it was nice to find a decent-sized container. Thanks for the cache.
I found myself in this area this for lunch.. With a few minutes up my sleve I swung past here before the meal.. I enjoyed the view.. however struggled over the fence to log the find.. said hello to a nice dog before heading onwards to lunch.. Thanks for the cache and the view.. TNLN Dipped various TB's and GC's Thanks for the cache.
Great view from there looking over the bay. The sea was quite claim at this time of day.
Found at 1.25pm. No geocoin
Out for an afternoon cache run around Black Rock area with Cracka1 and geoteen LittleM96. LittleM96 had his radar totally switched on today and found most of them first while we waited for our iPhone GPS to settle. Cracka1 grabbed it while we kept a look out for muggles.

Found today on a short tour of the Eastern subs. After parking the car in a side street, I found my way here, and searched high and low before spotting the cache. With a crook back, it definitely increased the terrain difficulty for me, but I did manage to get my hands to it and sign the log.
Great views across the bay, despite the wind, well worth the walk, thanks cacheartists

After walking all this way from Mentone it was nice to just watch the water and sign a cache without any other obstacles to deter me.

Again the PT and I had a short night to ourselves to go and find a cache or two. The usual car is in the shop getting an overnight service, so tonight we had a loan car. What a shame it was a nice little convertible! And on such an excellent night too! Oh well, guess we'll have to drive with the top down.
Lots of possibilities were explored, especially of he variety that would require more than a 1 for terrain rating. None were any good, but one looked very likely with a space showing that fit the description of the size of container.
Not wanting to destroy the vegetation or our fun though, we abandoned all hope and moved on.

A great night out with CamBendy. We could not locate this without doing more damage than we cared to. Given that a terrain rating of 1 means wheelchair accessible we're not sure what's going on with this one.
Searched up and down the trail with two helpers for ages and couldn't find it. Found a plastic stap with nothing attached, perhaps the cache is missing?
Found at 7:46 AM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob. Haven't been along these paths for a few years now and it is always different every time - the sea changes so much. The cache was found totally exposed - but we still didn't find it straight away!
Thanks cacheartists

Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass, at 0745. A short walk from our parking spot, with the added bonus of great views. Spotting the cache after a short search was easy enough. Retrieving it was a little more involved. Glad there weren't any walkers about. Our thanks to cacheartists.
This is the third time i've come down here and i still can't find it. It's so frustrating cos the other logs have said its an easy find. Is it over the fence??? I don't really want to be jumping over the fence to find it. The fence is there to protect the vegetation and its annoying that its being trampled.
Found @ 02:15 with shogun. Out on our regular Tuesday night cache run. Our GPSr units refused to settle down in the GZ area so we had to go old school and actually search. Shogun found it while I was looking on the other side.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log for find 9 of 9 for the night.
Thanks for the cache cacheartists.

find 11 of 18 for the day. an easy find, but not too easy to grab. put in animal snap and peg, took cowboy
Gps kept dropping out but found it at last. Beautiful evening, lovely walk & view.
Last of the student caches off the list.
Turns out I was wrong about finding another cache. But it was simple enough to find after black rock gardens.

Last find in a quick run with my two sons. Lots of muggles walking, or running past so the boys were on lookout while I did a swandive part way over the fence to reach down to the cache. Signed the log and off we went. Enjoyed the location and it gave me the opportunity to discuss our famous art history with the boys. Look forward to showing them the paintings in the future with reference to this cache!
Sadly I did not find this one as the geocaching app on the iPhone was not working properly as it was saying the geocache was in the sea. Therefore I could not use it to help me find the cache. Will find it next time.
Found at 15.40 on an afternoon caching in Melbourne's Bayside. I've been going around in daylight collecting all the caches that I've failed to find at night. This cache was no exception and was a much easier find for me today. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found cache after a bit of search. Difficult to retrieve due to overgrow and fencing. On a sunny afternoon lots of muggles were using this track interrupting retrieving work quite frequently. Otherwise its a lovely spot well worth a visit.
TNLNSL. Signed log, thanks, Dagobert1

Found it on my 3rd time looking, can't believe i missed it. Some good info in there to. The person that made this cache hasn't looked after it for over a year so if it gets muggled it might be the end of it so remember to hide well. tftc.
Found it but forgot our pen again! Shattered!! Stunning view and well hidden- took us a while to find! Thanks!
Enjoyed the view after an easy find. TFTC. Sadly the Geocoin is no longer present....
Had a bit of a search around for this one. Found it with pretty much spot on coordinates, but it appeared to have been just "dropped" there, not really placed. I "dropped" it back where I found it, but I suspect this isn't the correct placement.
I also noted that a recent online log did not have a written log anywhere in the logbook. Time for the owner to check logs and placement?
I must say that I really enjoyed the view!

After reading the previous logs I thought this one would be easy but the cache managed to elude both Burge and myself. It might have been the darkness of the evening that kept it hidden. Nevertheless I will return another day to try again!
Another busy day in and around melbourne searching for geocaches. Soon had this cache located. SL Thanks for the fun!
A simple hiding place, nevertheless effective. Thanks for the nice view and the information along the path.

No one about this time of night. Took a little while to find the well hidden hide as gps wanted me to look elsewhere. Thanks cacheartists.

Fifth of our Beaumaris caching run.
We arrived at GZ on a cold, cold, rainy and miserable afternoon.
We spotted the cache totally exposed at it's hide. We logged and hid it a bit better.

On a caching run on this beautiful sunny and warm winters day in the Aspendale Gardens, Mordialloc and Beaumaris Area.
This one took some time to find, and once found, I couldnt believe it took me so long to find. Not sure it is in its original position, but it seems to be ok. I suppose only people looking for it would see it.
Thanks to cacheartists for the cache, #5 of 15 for the day. TNLN.

Found @ 14:00 with davroy on a great day for riding and caching. Found GZ to be a little out and while thinking of where it would be davroy came up with it. TFTC TNLNSL
Really enjoyed the walk along the clifftop and the lookouts! Was a beautiful day! (can't remember exact date..forgot to log...woops) Took our housemate along and let her find the cache at GZ. Had to wait a while at ground zero - big group of sightseers stopped us putting it back after signing log. waited and enjoyed the view then replaced. TFTC!
#468 14th of 23 found today in Sth-East Melb. Found the cache after a short search. Great view from the lookout - worth a 'favourite' for that. Thanks cacheartists. ps: there were no trackables in the cache.
Found on a night caching run through the area. On my own tonight. Was a little exposed when i found it, so i re-hid it well. Great view from the lookout. TFTC.
Parking in a nearby street we as to watch out for the fast peddling cyclists as we crossed the road.
A bit of a windy walk down to GZ and cache was quickly in hand.
Thanks for the cache and information cacheartists.

I parked in the street opposite, and had a nice walk to GZ.
Great view from the lookout. The wind was blowing down the bay and whipping the waves up.
Thanks, Robmc.

An enjoyable find with 353degNth -we had to wait out some nearby people before we could safely search GZ. It’s finding caches like this that helps reinforce the notion that this activity really does take you to places you wouldn't normally visit! Thanks cacheartists for the cache. Regards, 38degsouth.

2 of 2 tonight. A nice evening for a walk. Been past here many times. Nice easy find. Thanks.
Left party and had a short walk in the rain to find the cache at 7:10pm. Dropped in TB
found it in record time. quickest one yet. beautiful view and a good time we had. found cap'n scurvypants.
A glorious afternoon for a stroll along the cliff tops. We wanted somewhere suitable to lodge a TB all the way from wintery England. Not too difficult to find the cache box, with one of us three hunters looking out for muggles whilst we searched. Found by smallest hunter who was more able to get to the right level.
Took the green Jeep TB and dropped off Capt'n Scurvypants. TFTC cacheartists.

I rather enjoyed this one I grew up in a bayside suburb and have traveled along the Beach Rd countless times and always liked the area around Beaumaris because of its good reefs and interesting sea bottom (I was a keen diver when I was younger). Even so, I've never checked out the walk on the cliff tops along here and have often wondered what the view was like so, today, I finally got to check it out a bit!
TNLN
Thanks cacheartists - it's good to see a regular-sized cache around here too.

This was a nice lookout. There were some muggles using the lookout as well, but they were too busy admiring the view to notice us.

I found this cache at 4:10pm as the 4th of 5 on a late afternoon caching jaunt. Possibly the easiest find of the day and a very pretty spot to boot. Thanks from D B-A.
Now is WAS dark by the time we got here and we again could find squashed plants at the gz but again couldnt find it. We will come back in the daylight.
