Logs
Great hiding spot. The cache does need to be replaced like others have said. But the log was dry enough to sign today.
Busy day, out and about, along the coast. Good view of runway for anyone who wants to do some plane-spotting, Bill & Ted style! Cache missing lid, but snug enough in its cosy spot. TFTC bkj97 ??
Decided to have a little adventure after dinner, dark and windy, took a little bit of time but finally found it, log was too wet for our pen to sign. The lid is missing. Great spot.
Today was a day, and for reasons... I needed to get out and about and Geocaching was the answer. So I did just that. My decision was further reinforced by finding, amost several others, a cache that contained a bunch of motivational quotes. One was "Today I choose to be happy" which was definitely the focus of today. Here was one of the geocaches I found. No aeroplanes to duck for today, but plenty of cyclists to avoid. No problem locating the cache which is missing it's lid and so everything was a bit wet. Fortunately the log paper is resistant to such things so after a wipe or two I was able to add my name.---Thanks to bkj97 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.
Great day out and about on our bikes, geocaching along the bike trails. We did about 40kms in the end, found 23 caches and had about 4 DNFs. Good advice here! It was very windy today and someone was practising their landings - we watched the wobbles and hoped... Cache is all good. TFTC
We are currently in Wellington for a few days and this is just round the corner from where we are staying so it was great to take the geodog for a walk and collect this cache. I remember looking for it previously and not finding it - looking at the wrong hint object! Don't know why I didn't log a DNF, but it was good to find it today. TFTC
**19,178**Made a decision to assess the cache from Titoki Road entrance. A short stroll to the cache and didn't at any stage feel the need to duck. Grateful of a nice quick find by torchlight and then back to the van. Additional log sheet added. TFTC
A beautiful day to be out exploring the area.
I had to wait several times for muggles to pass, but found it eventually.
Thanks for putting this here

A nice quick find. The conainer is lacking a lid, but the log sheet had nicely dried out. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off for a wee break "up north" and today we cruised around the Kapiti Coast. Cyclone Gabrielle has had little effect hear that I can see. There was light rain with some strong wind gusts in the morning and this cleared up in the afternoon..
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Appropriately got to watch the ducks foraging amongst the water weeds, whilst waiting for muggle walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. Quick find. A view of the airport I’ve not seen before, thanks bkj!
Nice quick find today. Cache nice and dry in its hiding place despite having no lid.
Slight detour while heading back to where I'm parked, great place for a cache, cheers
Quick after school grab. Lid is missing off tin but log is still dry. No room to write on log, so added a piece of paper. Did get a flyover by an Iroquois!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Approached from Milne Dr and found with no trouble. Hung around for a bit hoping a plane would come in to land, but no luck.
Great big landmark a bit hard to miss! Found cache, but eclipse tin needs new lid, as previous loggers have noted. Log nearly full, looked to replace but no suitable log on hand, all my replacements too big. Tftc!
Like a previous cacher I had to evict a spider out before getting to the log sheet. Thanks CO for showing me this track.
Walked down from Ihakara Street, as we needed the excercise, but had a watchful eye on the approaching rain. There was a small plane taxiing on the runway, but we didn't have to duck, and I don't think they realised what we were up to. Muggles on foot and on bicycles appeared with little warning. Cache needs a lid to keep the creepy crawlies out. Log is safe. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting view point. PS we got back to the car without getting wet.
Tftf. Beautiful countryside. Container needs a lid though to keep out spiders!
Sunny Thursday bike excursion. As noted on previous find the cache lid is missing. Log just still usable. Enjoyed the hunt. TFTC
I pulled up on Milne Drive and headed to GZ. There were plenty of muggles on this track walking dogs, biking and just walking but funnily enough when I finally reached GZ there wasn't a muggle to be seen but don't get me wrong........I'm not complaining! A quick find once at GZ. The cache container is getting a bit worse for wear with the lid completely broken off.

Seen this one a few times on bike rides out a d about.... finally had a pen o me. Thanks for the hunt
This afternoon I found myself having to dash down to Harvey Normans in Pram to grab my lad's xmas present (the last one in the shop) and having got there 5 minutes before the doors closed for the day (and therefore making said lad very happy) I decided that we may as well grab a few caches before we head back to my place for some dinner.
Having parked at the end of Milne Drive, and walked to this point, I could now see why you might like to duck. The lad and I didn't experience it first hand today, but I grew up right by a major international airport and would often while away many hours having the jets pass directly over me at the end of the runway. The Hint made for a very quick find of the container, and all we had to do was keep an eye out for the various joggers, dog walkers and cyclist which seemed to be out tonight enjoying the lovely evening whilst doing the proper cache administration and then replacing everything as found.
Thanks for placing this cache, and for the flashback memories from my youth.

Day Ten of a 12 day, 3000 km road trip around the North Island with the primary objectives being the Taupo Ultra Marathon on the 13th and my first ever caching Mega event in Wellington on the weekend of 20th & 21st. With thousands of possibilities for caches to look for on the way, I had to be very selective and decided to concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, ones that would fill missing spots in my statistics grids and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close by those.
Today was the second Mega event day and after attending the Kevin Anderson pilgrimage event and finding the oldest NZ cache, plus the remaining lab caches, we headed north to Kapiti to catch up with our daughter. Another nice day today and still no sign of any rain to interfere with caching activities. An amazing streak of weather.
I needed eighteen more caches further than 500 kms from home for the so far away challenge, so set out on a local mission to try and get them in the two hours before our dinner appointment. Next up was this one, and after pulling up reasonably nearby, jogged along the trail and across the bridge and promptly had to duck for a very low incoming Cessna. I was surprised at how low it seemed...!! Cache was quickly found in hint location, log signed and returned safe and secure, ready for the next finder, just as another incoming plane approached, thankfully a bit higher this time. TFTC

Luckily nothing was taking off so there was no need to duck - in fact GZ and the surrounding area were quiet. TFTC
Watch it when going trough the grass there are alot of thorns that will stabb you
Got pricked a bit while trying to find this, but the cache was soon in hand! TFTC!
we arrived just as a plane was coming in to land which the boys enjoyed, lots of people around but managed to sign and replace ok
Great place for plane spotting, did have to duck as a low flying object came through... TFTC
Dad & I want for a walk around here this morning before it got too busy with muggles...
Quick find - all nice and dry... but sad to report the BlackBerry is starting to encroach on GZ.
Thanks for the cache!

I took my youngest son up to Wellington in the camper van. I dropped him off at his friend's house where he will stay. Meanwhile I get to geocache and be on standby.
After staying at Greytown and spending another day in the Wairarapa, it was time to head to The Hutt area.
Son number two got dropped off at the airport. Hubby got picked up.
I needed to get the Camper's clutch checked out at Miro Auto Repairs. Once we got the all clear it was time to continue our adventure. We stayed in Paraparaumu last night.
Hubby stayed at the campground and chilled out, while I went biking and geocaching. Win, win.
There were lots of people picking blackberries today.

Thanks. bkj97 for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5466 for me.

One of five found along this track this afternoon on a walk with the geohound. Didn’t take long to locate. Mrs tbird enjoyed feeding the horses. #1637. TFTC.
Strong southerly winds meant any planes flying today were way up high. No need to duck. Thanks for the cache.
Had a huge plate of ribs for dinner at Boundary so what's better than walking it off and grabbing a few caches! Had to keep waiting for muggles to pass by but eventually got the all clear and grabbed the cache. Tucked it back in its spot well out of sight
A quick find with Bevinet, JoBevNZ and our boys on bikes. All happy to have the traditional gummy bear treat per cache whenever we go caching together! ALl good at GZ, co-ords all fine and easy muggle free find.
Morning caching in Kapiti area. Nice walk in the sunshine after a shower of rain for a easy find.. Thanks bkj97 for the cache.
There was nothing happening on the airfield today but I can imagine there are times when standing here could be quite sporting (although not, perhaps, as exciting as [St Maartens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anqcpbKb36Q)).
TFTC!
TFTC!
This one is for Pokernet who shifted here following her hubby who worked at this airfield. TFTC bkj97
Last time I was here I had difficulty owing to a stream of schoolkids.
One or two muggles that I had to avoid today, but much quieter.
But just as I was about to go for the grab I realised a light plane was on final heading straight towards me- rather than duck I moved a short distance and grabbed a photo though unfortunately I didn't manage to have the phone camera ready in time for a close shot.
No problem finding the cache once the excitement was over.
I contemplated staying longer to get more plane pictures but decided to carry on as I had more caches to find. But I found out later that if I had waited longer I would have been buzzed by an Air New Zealand Link ATR!
TFTC.

Was lucky enough to see two small planes taking off and an air New Zealand plane land . Great spot for a cache. Thanks
I saw a duck nearby this morning - - - but no need to duck for planes, - - - in fact I didn't see any planes at all during my visit to the area this morning. - - - Moved some blackberry canes from around the cache as I didn't feel they were needed for camouflage and they might have attacked someone. Thanks for a pleasant walk and thanks for the cache .
Quick find--right where it should be. Container has no lid, needs to be replaced. One plane landed as I was walking, but it was a small one so I didn't need to duck.... TFTC. Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaii.
Our second attempt at locating this time with success. Had to talk to a muggle throughout the whole duration but managed to retrieve and replace discreetly. She was unsuspecting as she gathered her black berries.
#1679. Up in Paraparaumu for the day swimming at the beach and visiting a friend at her bach. Decided to take in a few local geocaches and our friend accompanied Miss E and I on a walk along this pathway we hadn't visited previously. We did see a duck fly past as we approached this cache. Stopped to wait for some muggles nearby to go past but they saw some ripe blackberries on the bushes nearby and stopped for a feed. So I ducked in here and grabbed the cache from its likely hiding spot. Then moved off to sign the log and wait for the muggles on their bikes to pass by. Log was dry. Returned the cache as found then off to pick up the last one for the day. Thanks for the cache.
Nice easy find once in the right area and no ducking required since all flew out but none came in
Out for a walk with Yorkyscot this was a quick find once at GZ. The log was full so we put in a fresh sheet. TFTC
Down in Paraparaumu for 4 nights, caching as much as I can here and in Wellington. Will be caching and climbing Mnt Climie, doing a power trail near Palmerston Nth and hopefully achieve my best ever day and month.
Came by this way with headtorch at night. Night time is the best time: no muggles, and no boiling sun.
No pilots around here this late hour. Except for a guy on a pushbike also with a head torch. Cache easily found then replaced as it was. You'd never know there was an aerodrome here at night.

An easy find just around the corner from where we now live. Had an Air NZ plane come straight towards us while we were here! Unable to sign the log book though as completely full - will replace for you when I have time if you can't get there easily.
We were forced to do a couple of ducks while we were there but now, back to base for a cuppa. Tftc
Ha ha .....I thought we had to duck under bridge ! Hadn't read the details properly.... Found it though !
Definitely plan to fly to this airport from Auckland next time I visit my sister here in Raumati !
Was cool to walk to 6 geocaches in a little trail thanks all and sundry !
