I was unable to extract the vast majority of the required information from the new signs and therefore couldn't calculate the coordinates.
All three signs have changed but we were able to pull the required numbers from two of the signs and found the third at another beach access point. This gave us sensible coordinates which indeed proved to be right. TFTC
Thanks for the lovely treasure hunt! Our first geocache ever. Much appreciated and beautiful spot!
A relatively straightforward sort of the numbers, and a very appropriate spot for the final, which was hiding very well from me. TFTC!!South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!
It's day twelve of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak, and what a day it has been. I got up at ridiculous o'clock and cached my way up to Palmerston North with very careful planning to make my arrival time coincide with the earliest of the possible publish times of a daily series that is appearing there (as it happened, todays one appeared an hour later than I was hoping). I then drove around Palmerston and almost half the way back to Wellington as I chased down a variety of caches that were on my todo list. This was one of them.
Having sorted out the solution to this multi a few weeks ago, today I made the quick stoip to sign the log. The lidless ecplise container is barely being held together by the rust now, but the log is still signable.
---
Thanks to bkj97 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Ventured out with the grandies today picking up the odd cache today, especially as it's the last day of the year for 2022.
Had the puzzle quickly sorted the off to gz we went, signed an empty replacement log and might even be the last to sign the log for 2022.
Thanks for the multi and the smiley.

Out caching this morning with watcache and emiliyah for the last day of 2022,watcache sorted the answers for us on this one then off to the final signed log and replaced as found.
Out this morning with watcache and xsaveya as we were staying nearby.
Watcache sorted the answers then it was off to the final.
Log signed and replaced as per the hint.

Took a photo home with me, came back today for the cache. There’s a new sign for C, but the wording has been kept the same. Quick find. The tidal part of the beach is covered in sticks/peat today. Thanks bkj97!
Puzzle solved quite easily and then a quick find at GZ. Unfortunately the container is quite rusted and needs replacing. There is no longer a lid, as it has rusted off. The log was ok but I’m not sure for how much longer. Thanks for the nice puzzle and cache.
Loved our time spent here! Was good to get our feet wet. My sister and I were good decoys at GZ by keeping watch out. Was good to get our names on the log so we could run on the sand again. TFTC
Visiting from Taranaki for the weekend to do some nearby cycleway trails and after a big day out riding we came down to explore the beach for a bit before dinner. Got all the information we needed and punched in the final coords and had a good wonder down to GZ. We eventually found it and figured out coords where spot on and had even looked at it a couple of times but thought it was a bag of doggy poo. Got the nerve up to check and it was the cache. Took it out of bag and put it back in its spot. Will be much easier to find now. Thanks for a nice multi on the beach and it was cool for us to watch a couple of guys drag in a net. 4 flounder & a crab was caught. Enough for a feed! TFTC
Found on an early morning walk along Paraparaumu Beach. The signs at WP1 are somewhat different (extra signs added and alignment changed), but all information is still readily available. A walk to GZ, where the cache was found in the first place checked. All good. Putting together a string of multis on consecutive days for a Challenge. Today number seven of ten. Tftc!
I took me a while to work through the numbers for this for some reason and I ended up with coords I didn't really believe. Because I'd parked in the "wrong" place to get to WP1 I walked about 200m to that and I didn't really want to walk all the way to where my computed GZ was without a little more confidence. So I returned to the car and drove close to GZ where I was extremely surprised to find the cache. I only had about a 50% hit rate on mutlis today so this was one of the "good" ones. TFTC.
Lovely walk this evening, snow on the hills, sun setting behind Kapiti Island, zero wind!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Aiming to try and find a few multis today and did manage to get this and to find it after being last found about 12 months ago. Helps with my goal of getting the required number of days for a lonely cache. Was surprised to find it as thought I was going to grab something else! Thanks CO only comment is the container is getting a bit rusty.
I knew I would be out and about around Kapiti this evening, so I decided to target some caches that I had previously failed to find in the hope of having more success this time around.
When I was last here 3 months ago, I managed to work out the co-ords to this Multi quite easily, although I could not find the cache itself. Some correspondence between the CO and myself resulted in me being here today to try again. With the updated Hint, it was actually a quick find, although I have to report that the old container is getting a little rusty and the lid has become separated from the main body.
But all is fine with the logbook, so even though I felt a little conspicuous signing it where I found it, I was lucky enough to have no-one appear on the pathway whilst I was doing the appropriate admin and replacing the whole lot as found.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks TwigNz for the heads up it had gone. Moved slightly and clue C amended as has the hint.
Found with Sproggles and Conkycon. We'll be taking our Scout group here soon as part of one of their merit badges. So we scouted it out first to make sure it was still there. No trouble finding the final as the new sign had everything required to solve the clues. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Struggled a bit with the numbers, but through a process of elimination managed to work final co-ords out.
Easy find at final GZ

Unlike the previous finder I didn't manage to make sense of the clues with the replacement for sign C.
Fun quick multi completed while taking the dog for a walk in the miserable drizzle today.
Sign C is missing but the new sign has probably got the same info - the numbers I guessed resulted in likely coords
At GZ I was surprised by a wild Australian marsupial guarding the cache but I managed to retrieve it and signed the nice dry logbook!
Thanks bkj97 for placing this straightforward multi

Thanks bkj97 for placing this straightforward multi
Nice easy puzzle, had some help from an Aussie, cloud on top of Kapiti island today
Littlr though and on this nice sunny day there where alot of muggles staring at us from theire houses, but in the end we found it
Nice beachwalk, like others it was a tricky find but I eventually found it with Thorninator! TFTC!
The sea is so flat today! The location didn't seem to match the clue exactly, but an Australian helped me locate it.
Quickly achieved the required answers then a bit of a stroll. Glad I didn't bring my boat here as would struggle I think. No problems with the find and all in good condition. Thanks for the multi and thanks for the cache.
Was close to giving up on this one when I poked a little further into the grass and there it was. Still good but slightly damp log. TFTC.
No boat today, but this is the last of the multis I'm seeking for Mary Hyde. A nice brisk walk along the beach and a straightforward find.

This could be a record? I first "solved" this multi in Nov 2010; but didn't believe the result so didn't bother to look for the final. Got back to it today, got the same answer, decided maybe it was correct after all. Which of course it was. Duh...
Log a tiny bit damp, but still signable, no need to replace it just yet. Gets a fave for hanging out so long. And for the walk on the beach.

I'm glad to have actually found this one as I was unable to find the other two multis at the north end of the beach, so was getting a bit despondent. I read the detailed hint, but wasn't sure of things and what turned out to be the cache I discarded initially because I thought it was the work of an irresponsible dog owner. Once I realised that wasn't the case it was just a matter of getting the log out of the nested bags. TFTC
So happy to find this today, not been having much luck with these types of caches but will persevere TFTC
Got the information some time ago. Today went to final coordinates today and thanks to the hint it was a quick find. All in order. TFTC
We were walking towards the area to fi d the clues and happened to find the cache on the way. The kids were pretty excited...geocache spotters.
Found while out on bike ride. Easy puzzle once found the starting point, and not far to go to find the final. Immediate find once at cache site. Signed and returned as found. TFTC.
Counting and working out the co-ordinates were very easy, so we got a plausible gz. After searching a little bit we could log the cache. Not a very nice container in this beautiful area.
Thanks for hiding!
Thanks for hiding!
Cache # 2,590 - a quick solve at the designated coordinates, and a nice stroll to the final. Lots of dog walkers out this morning. All in good shape. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Had a couple of days staying in Paraparaumu and manged to get quite a lot of caching time. Fair bucketing down for a good portion of both days - hence some very very short logs in an attempt to keep the logs as dry as possible! Thanks for the caches, neat area to cache in.
An afternoon caching on the Kapiti Coast. Easy multi to do and find Thanks for the cache.
This is usually a very pleasant beach to stroll along but today there was a cold wind and the sea was rough. There was a very high tide which was coming in and taking away the driftwood. Thanks for the cache, team cacher Mr. T. and I enjoyed the walk.
A nice quick solve on this one with tmann421 and Princess-Emily on a lovely sunny afternoon today. Really enjoying these nice multi caches bkj97 TFTC
A gorgeous Waitangi Day for caching. We found the info we needed and set off to find the cache. We were both searching in slightly different places and at exactly the same time we both found the cache! How can this be???? Seems there are two containers and log books running for this cache, about 3 m apart. One matches the description in the details, the other is labelled with the cache code. We signed both for good measure Tftc
I now have sand in my shoes :-/ got it after looking on the right side of the fence.
Geogranddaughter wanted me to wear the badge so took out the badge and left 40c! I wasn't able to answer one of the questions as I didnt want to peel off the sticker to see what the old dates were for liquor ban, but I figured it out . Hope I've hidden it back OK. TFTC!
Information quickly gathered, and off to the final, which can be reached easily from the relevant track. TFTC. Edited to show the correct find date.

As previously noted the council have changed the sign by sticking a sticker with amended information over a certain part of it - luckily it is easy enough to peel back the sticker to read the original information. Other than all went smoothly with the signs and after an enjoyable stroll we were at gz. No problems here either although there is no longer any green rope in evidence, just a plastic bag with the container inside. Tftc.
Find #1591. Out on another cycle-caching sortie on a reasonably nice day with the odd shower and cool winds from the south. Easily answered the questions, although there has been a change to the sign for the answer to question B - but hey, peel it aside and all is revealed! Took the direct route down the beach on the bike to the final. Finding it was a lucky glimpse of the green cord - so pleased to tick off another multi. SL TFTC
Soon had some viable co-ords sorted. Near GZ, a man and a boy were bringing their little boat in to land but they didn't disturb our search.
Good views of Kapiti Island from here.

#4560. After some nice (Troodle) sammies at the beach, we headed further north to look for a few multis. Soon had some coords, and then drove a bit closer (had some rellies to visit later in the afternoon). Quick find by Troodles. TFTC.
Another set of signs, another set of coordinates, and another quick easy find. TFTC
We'd been meaning to knock off some of the multi's around here for a while now.
Straight forward, & an easy find. TFTC

Finished off this cache after our trip to Kapiti Island. GZ just down the road from the lovely campground. Thanks for all these interesting caches we did of yours. Now heading NW.
Another one where we'd completed the paperwork a while ago but failed to come up with the prize. No problems today however. TFTC
Nice windy walk along the beach - never been to this part of beach before - good easy find

Retrieved the answers from the comfort of the car before setting off for the final. The cache was was quickly found by miss miester after which we went for an enjoyable if not breezy walk along the beach. TFTC
Got the info, but misread one of the questions so GZ was out in the sea. Rethought and ended up in the right place. Great stretch of beach, enjoyable multi. TFTC
Here for an orienteering event nearby. A pleasant short walk along the beach and found without any problems. Thanks bkj97, your booklet from the "Assemblage de College Paraparaumu" event is still proving to be very useful.
#603. Got the required information and proceeded to GZ. The cache took a little bit of hunting for as it was well hidden. Found it after a couple of minutes. TNLNSL, TFTC.
No trouble getting a set of co-ords, but for some reason we did not initially trust their accuracy. Moved on to some other caches first, then returned to this one after reading previous logs that indicated our co-ords were correct. When we reached GZ we could tell we were in the right place, and made the find soon after. Thanks!

Solved this one on Friday night with Kiwi Mico, but ran out of time to search for the cache. Wonder what he's going to say when he finds out that today, I signed the log. [B)]
