Ok it is in poor condition but they just become litter when archived if the cache is still there. I will try to bring a replacement or someone else can. Quick find Tftc
#270
Took awhile for me to find this one.
Once I did, the cache is in a bad way.
It is very damp and dirty.
I added some paper for the log.
The caches is wrapped up in a very big plastic bag. Don't be confused with all the other rubbish around.

It is clear that the CO is no longer playing.

I was driving by this little park and saw that there was a cache in the park right here. Read the very detailed hint, which helped. But after the recent rains, and as others have noted, the log was not really able to be signed. This one needs a bit of tlc by the cache owner. TFTH
Pretty quick find with all the building that had been going on in the last 12 months not surprised they where a few DNFs. The log is wet as some one did not return to container
Located at 10:20pm. Nineteen months unloved!!! Boom!!!! That’s a total of over ten years and almost six months unloved accrued in just two months. I’ve been chasing lots of unloved caches recently and have wanted to check this one out for awhile, for what it was worth. I arrived to GZ and followed the GPS to a likely spot and after a bit of fossicking around in the overgrown grasses I located my prize. Cache is in an advanced state of deterioration and I will try to replace the container at a later date, for now it is wrapped in a big piece of plastic and re-camouflaged with a temporary log signed and dated. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Quite a lot of rubbish. I couldn't see anything to match the clues...and the compass was jumping about due to all the tall buildings...
DNF. The northern end of the park borders on a large construction project, and the road was shut so I parked down by the river. There were police up by the construction too, not sure if something had happened or if they were just overseeing the road closure.
At the park I had a look around at GZ at the bottom of the park. It looks like this park has seen better days, and has suffered further indignities due to the construction. Temporary fencing is encroaching on GZ and it looks like at least some of the garbage from construction has ended up here. And a shopping trolley and other junk. Really didn't want to spend a lot of time searching through garbage . When they finish their building I hope they spend a bit of time and money to rejuvenate this little park.

My coordinates were off found it log may need replacing and tic tac boxes attracted unwanted visitors thank you to the cache
Just managed to find it before the rain set in. I certainly is an odd, forgotten little corner.
Another day of chasing those close to home caches. Well, at least until Sunday when I move to another house sitting house.
After 2 DNF's it is nice to find one.
A quick search to find this one tucked away.
Thanks for the cache

While waiting for my daughter who I had driven down to Meadowback from the Central Coast for an appointment she had this afternoon, I took the opportunity to do some caches in what is virgin territory for me. Parked in Porter ST and once at GZ, I made a quick and easy find thanks to good coords ... but I must say the cache is getting a bit ratty (with mould covering most of the contents) and really needs a bit of TLC if it is to survive much longer. Thanks for the smiley Bluebie.
Luckily I found this one quickly, because I wasn't really feeling up to poking around in rubbish for 15 min. Cache could easily be mistaken for trash, though. TFTC
#2871 - Found while cycling down to Meadowbank from Top Ryde. Secret Park signposted as Hayes Park. The search area was a bit grubby but found the dampish cache snoozing and sleepering nicely. Thanks to Bluebie for establishing and maintaining this cache. Gets a favourite because of the name of the reserve.

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Pleasant summer afternoon
Cache Condition: OK
I was working at our Concord office for the day, and decided to drive instead of going by train - love the lack of traffic during school holidays! I left close to normal time, and realised I had time for some caching on the way home. This was my second search. I parked on the side street at the western end of the park and headed in, past all of the construction work, until I was at GZ. It took a little while to realise where I needed to search (I was looking at the wrong altitude for some reason), but eventually I made the find. I signed and replaced then headed back to my car. Too much garbage, too messy it is very sad to see how humans behave and destroy nature. And none takes care. I looked for 15 minutes, but the dirt pushed me away from this location.
Poked around for a good 10 or 15 minutes and couldn't spot this one. The GZ was very messy with garbage everywhere. The little park doesn't look like it has been maintained at all with overgrowing and dead ferns all over. I kept looking for as long as I could until a muggle starting approach from the other end and decided to leave it at that. Better luck next time.
Yay, got it this time. The downed tree has been removed as has a nearby building. I wonder how long this park can remain with so much development going on around it. The area still looks like it might be inhabited but I re-read the hint and had the CIH quickly before I had to duck off to rehearsal. Nice to this DNF around.
On my way to get GeoDirk from his Harry Potter movie marathon sleepover party. Why do I do so many more caches when he's not with me?
I love the little parks here there and everywhere and this one surely isn't an exception. Took the Eiffel tower TB for further traveling.

A quick find in a deserted park. With all the construction going on around this place, it's lucky that the park is still here.
Log book full.
Left a travel bug.
Thanks for the cache.

Driven past here hundreds of times and had no idea this little park existed. Log pretty full. Will need s new one and some maintenance. Thanks.
Took me 15 minutes at least. Searching the wrong spot the whole time. Log book also needs replacing
Walked up this one after finding Heritage Ryde Bridge. A quick find after thinking through the clue.
Things are a little different at the GZ based on previous gallery images. Tree is having a little rest on its side, and foliage is overgrown. But the thing that saw me DNF this time round was that it looked inhabited (and smelled like it too). May come back another time when I'm braver.
Like the Rats, the hint through me off a bit and I realised I should be looking for something else but soon had cache in had. TFTCM

Headed to Sydney this afternoon to farewell a friend and fellow cacher. I stopped by here as part of my trip to the big smoke.
I started looking in the wrong spot then realised the gizmo said 7m away.... Got it then
Thanks

Survived a magpie swoop to get this smiley face. And yep have driven past probably hundreds of times and never noticed this park before!
Great find kids swapped we left toy story stamp, they took red Compaq bouncy ball TFTC
What a fantastic little park and the geokids loved climbing the trees. Bet the local employees love somewhere peaceful to eat their lunch!
We were wondering how long it will be before the developers put pressure on the council to build even more apartment buildings?
Found it. Trouvé. 見つけた.

Quick found, what a lovely log but shame that it is full. Cool little book TFTC -BMF-
I came here before but the last time my iPhone battery was off. No chance to find it. Tonight it was easy but I did not understand the hint. I really like the original look book.

Found it on 2nd attempt. Dont really know how i missed it the first time, must have been more covered Tftc to the missing CO.
Found by 3yr old, added a sprinkle of disguise as it was very visible and it has a high difficulty rating
This one actually took me quite a while to figure out. Was sifting through bark chip when the meaning of the hint dawned on me!!! Thanks Bluebie!
Found by Mary & David at 1140. Had a lot of trouble finding somewhere to park, but finally found a spot. What a dear little spot of greenery. Found it after a short search. Our thanks to Bluebie.
#408 (1 of 7 today) (Streak day 52)
Thought I'd try to knock over a few previous DNFs today.
First up, this one...
I can't understand how I managed to not find this last time. Probably because I couldn't make anything of the hint. When I spotted this hide I had a facepalm moment. That easy and that's what the hint meant.
I'd also say that there appears to have been a bit of gardening since last time - much neater are helped the find.
frazel, yes the cute log is full, but the CO is long gone - only found 3 caches and hasn't logged in for 3 years. There is a replacement log (AKA piece of paper). That will have to do unless we want this one archived.

Headed down the thin black line again to the Northern Suburbs of the Big Smoke ie Ryde, Concord this Evening to try my luck find some caches after dark and have some fun. The log is full needs replacing. Great cache. TFTC
A nice little park. This cache took quite a bit longer to find than it should have done but I eventually found it with some persistent poking and prodding where the GPS suggested I should be looking. TFTC, Biggles.
Found at 5:59pm. Searched for close to 10 minutes and eventually made the find. Nicely camo'd I might add. No muggles passing through during my search so I was able to keep my game face on. My last find in a good day of caching (battery life on 6% so I figure it's a good time to finish up), not to mention daylight is nearly gone. A clever wee cache in this secluded walkway. A great location - TFTC
Another fascinatingly long & thin park... Ryde seems to ahve a few.
A long search, with a large amount of traffic passing by.
However, couldn't find the cache, even after finding an area that matched the clue.
Did find a strange bauble, that looks like it could have been cache stash.
It's starting to look like this one is gone.
Two for four so far today. My next stop is a biggie, so hopefully I'll find that one.

Day 22 of #31in31
These little gems are amazing .. such a tiny strip of park in the middle of industrial suburbia.
iPhone map didn't make sense so I just followed the little green arrow straight to the cache.
TFTC Bluebie!!!

I've often seen this little park as I pass by in the traffic.
An easy find, not very well hidden. I tried to conceal it a bit better in the camo.
Retrieved a TB although none were listed as being here. TFTC

Found with Dad in this little park. Dropped off the TB that jackscruff is referring to in his log (I uploaded this log on 31/03, but found the cache on 29/03).
29/03/13 12:33 PM. Cache #512. Current streak: 201 days. First of 4 found by Yelyac & I in a quick little run through Meadowbank & Shepherds Bay. This one had us looking on both sides of the path before I made the spot. TFTC }:)
Lovely little park with a lovely little cache.
It's amazing how these little patches of green exist in such an urbanised landscape.
