Found yesterday while taking a walk along the water during my break, the view is great and even with the light rain the walk was really enjoyable. This was my first Earth Cache, thanks!

Our 100th cache and our 1st earth cache. Fantastic reading up about estuaries. Thanks for encouraging us to visit the area. The esplanade was beautiful. It was my wife's 30th birthday and we had a fantastic afternoon walking along the coast. Tftc. Definitely receives one of our favourites.

We spent one week in NYC with a detour to the Niagara Falls and focused on EC’s and VC’s on the way between all major sights in these impressing locations.

We tried to find the right answers and asked also some people who also enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Thank you for this interesting EC!

TFTC and greetings from Austria!

After our visit to Liberty Island, Ellis Island and Liberty State Park, we took the regular ferry back to Manhattan. This EarthCache was practically on our way so we stopped by and solved the questions. The owner already gave us a heads up, so thanks for the EarthCache and the fast reply. Greetings from Belgium !

It started to rain when I came up out of the subway on Chambers Street, but I was undeterred! Great views from this park, lots of ferry traffic to the south and barges going by.

What a park and beautiful view of New Jersey. I'm so used to seeing the refineries and fuel/oil storage depots while crossing the bridges back and forth to the city. I'm in downtown today for work. After renewing one of my licenses at NYC Consumers Affairs, I decided to clear caches I've missed or never had the time to visit. Happy April Fool's Day!

Answers to follow & TFTEC!

Found with my wife 'kalvey' while visiting NYC recently. I had to dodge a photo shoot going on all down the walkway but we were able to get the needed information. Thanks for bringing us here!

For our third day in New York we have planned a visit to the 9/11 Memorial monument. We had not reserved any tickets through the internet but we went early and since it was not that crowded now we got tickets for the 10 o'çlock shift. After this impressive experience there was still plenty of time for sightseeing and we walked to this earthcache to enjoy the cool breeze and the splendid view.

We seeked answers to the questions and of course took some pictures,

Thank you very much for bringing us here.

This is my first earthcache. I work right near here, so it's an easy one to visit. I did a lot of researching about estuaries though, and am now an expert. I really enjoyed learning about them, even if my friends haven't enjoyed my spewing facts about it all the time.

Answers in email. If I didn't get it right, I'll definitely go back to the drawing board to get it right!

TFTC!

Very nice and educational Earth Cache. We had a lovely day walking all the way round the southern tip of Manhattan; all the way from the East river ferry and with these coordinates as out last stop before heading back across the Manhattan and the East River to Brooklyn. We met hordes of tourists and lots of locals (I presume). We sat for a while near gz and watched a few guys fishing, and when one of them caught a nice fish I walked over and had a chat. We might live on different continents, but I know fish and could talk about fishing anywhere in the world Cool Thanks for the lovely experience and of course for the cache!

This was only my 5th cache of the day but I sat and enjoyed the view after spending the last 6 hours walking (25km) and subway riding all over Manhatten.
I was pleasantly surprised to come across the Irish Hunger memorial on my way to GZ and spent some time exploring it.
Answers have been sent to CO and photos are attached.

Our first full day in New York on holiday, and a mammoth walk from midtown to right down to here, caching on the way. And then more caching before walking back to the hotel.
Anyway, we found the correct spot according to the GPS and stood and admired the view for a while.
A beautiful day with plenty of sunshine made it a joy to be visiting this location.
We did look at the questions to answer while logging all our other caches while still in New York, but realised we would need to sit down and put some serious work into finding the answers.
So now we are finally back home and have found the time to work it out. Answers emailed and permission to log granted.
TaraP133 has her own caching name, so will log soon too.
Attached is a photo of us both at GZ.

I am from San Diego. This trip took us to CT, Jersey City & NYC. As I looked at maps ahead of our trip, this earthcache got me thinking about that big body of water. Glad to look at the big picture while in the area, surviving the heat wave. Thanks for the time put into making this so informational.

We toured lower manhattan today including visiting battery park city, ground zero, and New York Harbor. Unfortunately my picture at the cache site was so blurry as to be unusable so I'm posting one taken from the harbor looking back at the partially constructed freedom tower. Thanks for the earthcache. This was a very interesting earth cache. I knew nothing about estuaries prior to reading the cache page and doing some research. Found that I learned a lot that I did not know previously. It was fascinating to know the differences between the Hudson and the East River. Loved the view here, but today is a chilly and windy day so did not stay too long. This is definitely another favorite. Thanks for all of the work on this one. Loved it!
