Decided to archive this one as it didn't re-appear and now the area is quite sparse. Good fun while it lasted!

27-Nov-11
The tree that was housing the cache has fallen over and cache is MIA! It may turn up when tree is cleared up, but in the meantime I have disabled listing as its not safe to search in that spot. If it re-appears I will move it and re-list the cache.

Called in on way to Hastings too busy, dropped back in after 5 no cache to be found. Sad

Interesting hide. Easily spotted.

Completed @ 0800 after an earlier visit was stalled by a pack of cubs that were found to be roaming wild near GZ.

A quite day at the carpark and a very easily spotted cache.
Thanks

I set out on a bit of a mission today to gather a few travel bugs from caches I'd not yet visited. Well, this was cache number four and the fourth with no travel bug present.

As for the cache, I pass this place on an almost weekly basis but for whatever reason Have never stopped by to cross this one off - well today I changed that and made a very easy find with a container that didn't take too much spotting.

TFTC.

Found by Bob at 1130

This looked like it might be a nice spot to check out some time - not enough time today, but I'll bear it in mind for a later date. Anyway, when I pulled up in the car park, I happened to be about 10m from GZ and as I headed in there, I thought I might be in for a bit of a search as there seemed to be a lot of potential hiding spots. However, without giving too much away, the cache container was spotted immediately, although I didn't check it straight away, and it wasn't until I did (and realized it was, in fact, the cache) that I figured it wasn't in its correct position. After doing my logging, I returned it to a spot that seems in keeping with its nature.

Thanks yet again cathylmorgan

What a fantastic cache, one of the imaginative ones that brings a smile to my face when I see it. It was lying on the ground on its side, so I placed it back up on a branch that had a shoot going up to hold it in place. Hopefully it is in the right location. Thanks for the great cache.

26-Jun-11
A nice easy find an our Sunday cache collection. Took travel bug dolphin.

25-Jun-11
We found this cache today at 10:55am as the 5th of 29 on our Hastings and Area Caching Day. An interesting spot that we have driven past many times. Not sure as to where the cache container was originally supposed to be but we found it on it's side on the ground. We did not have any Pearcedale cache finds in our list until today and now we have five. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

Found @ 3:18pm, find # 870.
Out to clean up a few caches on my way to a night event.
Arrived at the Sanctuary carpark hopped out and head for the bushes keeping out of sight of the muggles in the sanctuary, had a look around and noticed something in the area that the cache was meant to be, and what do you know it was the cache.
Thanks to cathylmorgan for this cache.

It appears that the cache has mysteriously re-appeared so its back on-line and ready to go again! Thanks to ahomburg to searching for it even though it was offline - now I won't have to come up with a new design!

Despite this one being listed as "Temporarily Unavailable" I went along and had a look as I had not updated my GPSr to this new Status. It seems the Muggle has had a change of heart and returned the Cache to its spot, quite a unique Hide, didnt even look at it initially but on closer inspection, it dawned on me what it was.

Great Cache, thanks to cathylmorgan, TNLN.

The cache seems to have "flown the coop" - obviously with assistance from some muggles! So, I will disable this one temporarily while I come up with a new creation!

M took off in search of the cache and as usual headed in the wrong direction. After I redirected his search he stopped suddenly. At first I thought he had walked into a web but he then continued forward slowly and reached out for something before he came scrambling back with the cache. This is certainly a different cache and a very good one at that. TNLNSL. TFTC. KeMS

This cache made us really laugh, such an unusual and clever cache. We had to readjust and also the lid was on the ground. The contents are a little bit wet.
Overall we really enjoyed this cache, thanks. Second of three for the day.

Loved the cache container. EB Nano has come here with school when he was in Prep last year. He was pretty keen to revisit the animals but his older brothers declined. Maybe another day, now I know how close it is to home! TFTcleverC

Last of the day and an esy find. The cache container was good, but maybe you should spray it brown and hide it up in a tree!! That would be really good. We probably would not find it then! Next time we will come a little earlier and go for one of the walks as well. Thanks cathylmorgan for the cache.

Fantastic container! Surprised it was still here - the mozzies were big enough to easily carry it away!
It did not take us long to sign the log, and get out of there. Smile
We had an event to get to, so we didn't have a look inside today.
Thanks for all of your caches we have done this morning, Robmc.

30-Aug-10
We were out doing some cache maintainence today so a short detour to this one had to be made. Although there were a few cars parked in the car park every one was off looking at what was on offer inside leaving us free rain to search. At GZ the container was spotted straight away as it was partly visible. This is a first for us, a very fitting container! It took a few seconds to work out how to get the log book out but we did leave our name along with the rest.
Thanks cathymorgan, its a bonus to get a grin out of a cache.

30-Aug-10
Our second find for the morning, I have been here a few times with the kids on excursions.
I don't think there is much to say about this container that won't give it away, however very fitting for its surroundings, not sure how it will hold up for moisture though.
Took 2x TBs and Dropped off 2x TBs, TFTC Smile

Was at the Walenators and they said theres a first to find quick lets go we hop in the car and took off
As we get there Walenator reconised Mr Jibblets car and as we went into the bush we realised there were more caches there The gps was picking up a good signal though but eventually it was found by Quasar3671

Found the cache approx 10pm. Great cache container cathylmorgan. Lived locally for quite some time and never had the chance to visit the sanctuary. Looks like a great place to bring the kids to and let them find the cache too. Took sticks and left Duke Nukem TB. SL. TFTC.

29-Aug-10
Was getting ready for tea when a last minute check of my emails showed a new cache not too far away had just been posted. Grabbed Tyler and jumped in the car and headed over to the new site. Pulled into the car park and saw a few cars already there and a bloke hanging around his car. Turned out to be Mr Jibblets. We spent a few minutes looking for the cache when another car turned up with walenators and dehneys. Now we were all searching. Surely one of us was going to find it as it was proving to be quite elusive, until I happened across the cache. We signed the cache and had a bit of a chat, it was great to meet some more local cachers, then went on our merry ways. Thanks for the hide.

29-Aug-10
I arrived at the carpark to find myself the only person about and began my search for the cache around 5 minutes later i noticed another car arriving, stopping my search i went back to the car to check on some cache information,Noticing that it was another cacher(Quasar3671) we set out together to locate the cache, before we had even found the container The Walenator's & The Dehney's arrived hoping for a FTF aswell.
Turned out to be a mini event exchanging our stories before i headed home for some dinner.

Around 10 minutes of searching the area right on dusk it was Quasar3671 who located this unusual container before we all signed to log.
Thanks for the cache cathylmorgan

29-Aug-10
Had a quick phone call from my husband in Sydney "There's a new cache only 12km from home". Well forgot about the wine I had already poured to share with The Dehneys and headed out the door. Got to GZ and couldn't see anyone but recognized Mr Jibletts car. There were a few cars in the car park so was wondering how many others belonged to cachers, but the only one other one belonged to Quasar3671. Had a little trouble with getting a good signal but the cache was eventually found by Quasar3671. Had a good chinwag before heading home for dinner. Thanks for the cache cathylmorgan and loved the cache container.
