Cache had been moved by someone. We found it with just a log book so will find a new place soon.

Well, I feel really stupid not finding this one [:o)] - judging by the logs. Nearly pulled up all the plants under the seat - and looking out, I was really missing my kayak! Never mind - found 3 locationless caches on this penninsula to make up for it Big Grin.

Found the cache ok. no sign of any 'live' critters, took badge, left chocolate bar and pen.

We let the 'wasp' guide us rather than the directions (because someone forgot them!!)and found it without any trouble. When we opened it 'clarrie' the cockroach leapt out and ran off before he was spread all over the seat by a jandel.. I am new to this but I thought travel bugs were not live! We cant figure out how he got in.. Took the glue stick and left some soap..

We could have gone off a side road very close by the cache but opted to follow the
directions. Was worth it, a great walk and an easy to find cache. Took a lollypop
and left the octopus from the rat island cache because it didn't expand like we wanted it
to!!!

Took Moro bar and left a glue stick

09-Jun-02
( Went up in slippers after being at the Quarry road cache, had lunch at the cafe, very nice, then walked across the park and past the boat shed and up the hill...Snoopy...and sat on the cache. There were strangers close so we had to do it decrietly. Very easy. We needed it after not finding the last cache.)

This cache is a little deceiving, look out for the track running up the bank after the slipway, otherwise you will end climbing up a steep pumice bank. The cache is easy to find, just follow the directions. Took the Teabag and left a packet of dice (die??).

30-Dec-01
Left the omokoroa beach carpark with gps in hand, following the beach around at low tide, until coming to the realization that the cache is up top in the reserve, no worries, scrambled up the bank, and this time murphy's law wasn't against me as I virtually ended right on top of the cache as I hit the top. Didn't take much searching as the clues where fairly spot on. Took nothing out and left a note to log the visit.Big Grin
