As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Today hoped to find enough caches to reach 3300 finds. Falling short of goal today as we were beaten by the rain, dark and the number of repairs we have done.
5.40pm - Hint not correct now, cache about 10 metres further along wall and container a bit wet. SLTFTC

Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are a long way from home... We are pushing into Franklin District today and looking for caches to put towards some Geocaching Challenges... We also hope to reach some personal milestones too...
The day turned out to be more of a rescue mission. So many caches we visited required maintenance or total replacement. The state of some caches and the frequency in which maintenance was carried out by us was quite alarming. Luckily, we came prepared.
We searched all of the most logical spots, but had to widen our search area. The hint proved to be useless and the cache was much further on than we expected. Luckily, the container was visible and recognisable. The contents were damp, but we managed to sign the log. TFTC.

Looked but can't find even from reading the logs 4-6 meters on and on next set of stairs
Had us stumped....searched for ages. We were in the right place, but no luck.

Quick stop on our attempt to do 50 in a day and at least 1km apart for the Geocaching Licence. 41 down, 9 to go. Cannot believe how much they want for the little bach at the end of the beach. TFTC
Such a beautiful view of the harbour, despite the lack of water today, nice easy find, tftc
It was fairly exposed when I found it, so I made sure it was well hidden. XNSL. TFTC.

Found today with Sir & Lady Harveyjj.
Please forgive the generic log as I'm logging as & when I have access to wifi so details of individual caches have become hazy, however that does in no way detract from the time and effort you as CO have put into your hide - that's very much appreciated.
We're in New Zealand on an extended holiday and have loved every minute of it.
We're very grateful to you for placing caches which have led us to some of the most beautiful places on the planet.
The logs have been signed either in our individual caching names or as T2 (being Sir & Lady Harveyjj plus B.D.I's)
Cache returned safely from whence it was found.
Thank you and greetings from the UK

A cute little classic kiwi bach for sale right on the beach near GZ for $650k. We might just have to stick to the tent for a few more years.
Many thanks

Quick easy find with Flossy 63. Saw cache almost looking at me, so added more camo to it. Took whistle and trashy. In rubber dice and notepad. TFTC Dont know that I would pay asking price for local bach on the market!!

Thanks for the hint...was required as GPS bit out once undercover. Beautiful beach and day to match. TFTC?
An instant find on approach thanks to the hint. Great views from here indeed; thanks!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down this way to spend the evening at Spookers and decided to come down a couple of hours early to pick up the caches around Clarks Beach first. Spotted the container straight away as it was in clear view - so re-hid with a little bit of natural camo. Thanks for the cache!

Decided it was getting late so decided to make this the last Clarks Beach cache in the town area for tonight. Quick find of the cache as my fingers soon detected it. Returned the cache as found, but it looks a bit precarious there. Maybe the cache has crept a little bit? Anyway, cheers for the cache placement!
A nice and easy find on our tour to Clarks Beach.

A pleasant wander along the beach between squalls. It's really nice when the sun is shining. Took tb to move on. NITO TFTC
This was our favourite spot at Clarks Beach today, even with the blustery wind and full tide, we thought it was just lovely here. Nice hide. Left TB. SL. TFTC.

Out on a site visit first thing this morning so it only seemed appropriate to loate a couple of quick caches while here, Nice little Spot, TFTC
Really needed a could't find log type rather than didn't find. Muggles were sitting right on top of it. Will have a go next time we are out :s
Nice spot. Walked along the beach and made an easy find. Thanks very much Kiwifamily
5.15pm. What a beautiful peaceful beach setting. Called in to locate this cache on our way to a Kiwanis function at the local Yacht Club. Initially worried that there may have been picnicers near GZ but no, we had 40 - 50m to go under the pohutukawas and found without difficulty. Took the two resident trackables.
