This cache is currently listed as Archived in our database.
The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.
- Geocaching Australia has not received any data in our feed for this cache in a reasonable amount of time and it has been auto-archived.
- The cache's status has only recently changed on its listing site and we don't know about it yet (can take up to 7 days).

Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looked but couldn't find, but then read logs and a long list of dnf's since Oct - time to be disabled or archived
I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 3. The area was all quiet and sea was smooth. It was a very nice place to explore on a quiet Sunday morning. Thanks.

Scratched around for a while but no luck. Very likely to still be there but the enthusium was waning near the end of a busy caching day.
Took a bit of searching for this. Not quite where we expected to find it but put back exactly where we found it. TFTC!!!
Definitely required bit of a scratch around...a little green army man was protecting the cache...alerting me to it. TFTC
Once at GZ i was thinking "Oh No" but came up with the cache after first scratch around, TFTC.
Took about 15 minutes of searching over two goes to find this. Got muggled by a local dog getting a run about whose owner was sitting in a nearby. The dog made tracks when he worked out I was something bigger than a bunny. After reading through the logs I had a better idea what I was looking for and eventually located the cache.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down this way to spend the evening at Spookers and decided to come down a couple of hours early to pick up the caches around Clarks Beach first. This one took a little bit of hunting to find, but we soon had it in hand. Thanks for the cache!

More dark than light now, so bought out the head torch. Followed the hint and was just able to spy the little bugger. There was a surprising amount of swag in the cache. Cheers for the hide!
tried in the evening but it was getting hard to see and then again next day but couldnt get a stable direction and after hunting around in likely spots we abandoned it.
A quick find on a warm, dry and mostly overcast geoday. Nice and quiet here today.
Thank you for placing this cache.

A-Maze-ing spot view is also not to be missed. Soon worked the rat run, and had the run of the place

Our first visit to Clark's Beach. This place must hum in the summer but it's gloomy today and the view is obscured by rain showers coming across. This is our first smilie today after failing on one (couldn't get a fix -tried a couple possible spots but felt a bit dodgy) and not stopping at another (a muggle parked nearby). NINO TFTC
Have come to Clarks Beach for a bit of caching in a different area today. This one took a wee while to uncover, but found in the end. Not too many about today, blowing a gale and the full full tide. SL. TFTC.
While on a dash to get a FTF on another cache we figured we would grab this on the way past. Great view here at night.

No one was around when I stopped here on my walk from the camping ground so was able to have a fairly good look. No sign of a cache though. Thanks anyway Kiwifamily
Had a quick look but too many mugglers to be able to have a good look, will be back later today to check.
Quick and easy find. Nice goodies in this one. We put a "grumice" big purple Mc Donalds monster in.
Out and about with Mrs TWS today, nice spot, nice hide

Nice views today

Our ninth find for the day! Another big cache, we like it! Thanks Kiwifamily for keeping us entertained for a few hours! We loved exploring the coast of Clarks Beach. TNLNSL TFTC!
We spent our last afternoon at this beautiful beach before returning to Germany.

Nice easy find on a lovely Sunday afternoon. It looked a little bit too exposed so tried to hide it a bit better (only a little, still easy to find! )

Not too many around so we could hunt without muggles . Had to pass on next one as bay was heavily populated so will return again.

Heard rumours of a clarks beach powertrail, we were not disappointed
P.S its not about the numbers........

Followed car club in to area but they parked just far enough away for lunch to find the cache.
Found in between muggles arriving and leaving. Left TB for travel to Ireland. TFTC
At first attempt there was a large family picnic 12m from GZ. As I started to battle my way to the centre of GZ a 4 year old had me in his sights and came to investigate and interrogate. Decided to return later - and 4 hours later the area was muggle free and I dived into feature going directly to the cache.
Tide is well on it's way out, but still a popular place mid-week for the locals.

Fantastic sunny, warm day today - the perfect day for Geocaching, although in the end we only got this one!

Quickly found on a sunny but windy day, which is probably why there were few muggles around GZ. This could be fun to do without being spotted when it's a busy weekend.
Gone south this morning to pick a few down that way. Had to watch out for the golfers across the road to see if they had their minds on their game or not.
Out: GC.
Cheers for the cache.

Walked from 1 to 3 along the beach, still very serene. Found quickly, sat on a stump to admire the views.
On an outing with the youngest 3 of Teamhoward5 we found this one. Was out in the open so its now hidden alittle better. Still easy to find.
Left a TB here.

Not a sole around today so great chance to have a good search and we soon found the cache T4TC.
4996 Great to see a large and nicely camo’d cache, many thanks for bringing us out to Clarks Beach, enjoyed the series. PS we spotted Barbie hanging out in the tree. TFTC
Quick find, and great to see a regular size container! Swapped TBs. Think Gadgetron spotted in the distance! TFTC
Nice walk along the beach. Decided to do all 3 caches without the car, so parked at the end and walked the beach path. Very windy and bleak today. Thanks.
Took the family out to Clarks Beach for a fathers day picnic. Cache was nearby the park so made the short walk and found the well hidden cache. TFTC
Had to make a delivery to the airport this morning and couldn't resist 3 unfound caches so travelled on to Clark's Beach. Drove to the end and worked my way back, so did #3 first. The cache was quickly found and the blank logbook signed.
FTF # 272 Certainly are nice sea views from this cache. Thanks.
