Under the first leaning tree you see as you enter the bush. The pencil was broken so I replaced it. White container with a green lid.

2nd attempt at this one and still a DNF. So very frustrating, especially when no one answers their messages from us for a bit of guidance. Maybe next time.
Found with NZDi. Today is the fourth day of our Wet Coast adventure and as the weather was supposed to be abysmal we decided to do a road trip to Inangahua Junction to pick up the roadside caches that would be impossible to stop for when towing a caravan. That was the plan... we got as far as our first find of the day and then as we got closer to the next the heavens open up and I got drenched. It would appear that as the warm air mass coming across the Tasman gained altitude it dropped all its moisture. The weather looked better nearer the coast so we changed our plans and headed back.
This was our fourteenth and final find of the day and we almost added to the high tally of DNFs this one gets. C:geo took us directly to the hinted item and we searched high and low around it without any lucky. After repeating the process fruitlessly another couple of times we were abou to give up, when I decided to step back and make another approach. This time c:geo took us to another nearby, but previously unseen hinted item where the cache was quickly found. It is easy to see how this one has got so many DNFs.

TFTC. Out on a caching day with Boyd. We spent some time searching at an incorrect hint item bit widened our search and found the correct one. Very interesting spot.
I didn't find cache at very obvious hint site - it looked like the site has been raided by muggles. Then close by on the trail I picked up what i thought was litter ... it was the log all by its lonesome!! Then went on the hunt for all the missing cache content items and put it back together.
Have suggested "maintenance", and moved the cache position slightly (still fitting hint), its tucked away with some natural camo. Hopefully this will make it harder for those pesky muggles to find again.

Cache badly muggled - contents and container scattered along various parts of trail. Went to picked up what i thought was litter then realised it was the log all by its lonesome. There were signs of a party being held in reserve incl empty beer bottles and general litter.
CACHE - I've put everything back that i thought belonged in cache and hid under another leaning tree, right next original tree. I pushed a bit of camo ie a piece of punga over top of container (white bottle/green lid). Siggestion: Perhaps cover white bottle with black masking tape to make it hard to find by those pesky muggles? Log all dry and back in its plastic bag in bottle.

We could not find this one we spent a lot of time and effort to. We will be back.
Nope, could not find this. We would have put in a replacement, but I was not one hundred percent sure where it was. Too many options.
TYFC ,many years 40 or so since I been here ,fused to be a rope in a tree to swing on ,used to play here after rugby training for old boys.
Good old Percy ...every twon needs people like this..a fitting place for a cache..thanks weenz ..well done
Wow a neat park to visit. All ok here. Re- his with more natural camo. Thanks for the cache weenz
Had a good hunt around. Found two likely spots that matched the clue but it must be too well hidden for us today.
A nice and quick find to get started on the day. There were a few hint items though. Cheers.
Todays plan. drive up to Denniston Plateau, grab as many caches as practible, and go down "The Trudge" to meet Ms KR at the bottom. Mission successful!
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Strolled down from the holiday park to this lovely park to claim our first cache of 2018. Left two butterflies. TFTC. Loved the swing further into the bush!
Due to a flat tyre cutting our adventures short earlier in the day, we headed out after tea for some more caching. At first we thought this was private property, but soon realised upon reading cache page fully what the situation was. Found and signed the cache and had a look around. Remnants of vege gardens etc still show. tftc
Heading back after an evening exploring Westport - this lovely spot was definitely worth a stop, even in the growing darkness. Was Percy a lawyer? [https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/WEST18830810.2.16](https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/WEST18830810.2.16)
I didnt know this place existed even though I have driven this road many times, tftc Weenz
A return trip here after a blank during last years Queens Birthday weekend over this part of the country. Back to the same location today, and a Q E F ensued, yay. No TB at home in the cache. T F T C weenz
With a van to transport me around I headed out after the parade in Westport town centre for a couple of hours break in the sunshine and a few caches.
And so it was decided that for this years Anzac Day observations that a group of my workmates and I would head West, to the Coast, to pay our respects and parade in the Air Force colours. We loaded into the van on mid-afternoon on Monday and arrived in Westport just on dusk. Checked into the motel apartments for the evening before an 0430 start on Tuesday to parade at Granity followed by Waimangaroa at 09145 and finishing at Westport at 1100 to march on the Cenotaph.
An awesome couple of days with many new people met, places seen and other experiences and tales from the Coast. Oh, and a few caches too!

We didn't even try for this one last time we were here because of all the DNFs. Glad to see it back in action. Nice little area for the cache. Truffles had fun zooming around, sniffing everything.
I'm really happy to tick this one off after my last DNF. Thanks for replacing it after that attempt. Found uncovered but replaced with the camo lying beside. Thanks weenz

3 DNFs in a row for us, time to leave town I think. Checked a few hinted items but nothing found except one telltale rock at one G Z
