WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 24 - Bremer Bay to Cranbrook, via Wellstead and Mount Barker. I went seeking a new county today, so I headed back inland a bit to get to out Barker. I stoped and did quite a bit of caching along the way and passed a magnificent mountain range along the way. As usual there were places I should have stopped and didn't and plenty of caches to keep me busy longer than I should. I did manage to get settled in before dark.My drive along the edge of the Porongurups was a highlight of the day. I should have taken the time to walk up the castle, but I did not really feel up to it. In the end I stopped for quite a few interesting caches between here and Mount Barker. Thanks for the cache deaning46827.11 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2014 Photo Frame A#300**Albida**

Another camping trip to the Great Southern. Today we climbed Castle Rock with our Dutch friends and made it to the Granite Skywalk . This is our first cache on this trip, a quick easy find for my husband. TFTC!
After staying near Mount Barker last night, this morning it was time to head to Albany with ilook4geo, but not by way of the most direct route, of course. It was raining and every effort was made to keep the contents and log as dry as possible for each cache found. None of the caches were difficult to find and we thank all the cache owners for adding such an interesting variety of caches to the game. We enjoyed finding this one today.
It was time to move on from Mount Barker area and heads towards Albany, along with goingplaces2. We found a good selection of caches and signed each log. Thanks to all the COs.
Out for the day exploring the porongurups and doing some caching on the way. Tftc
