I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. Not sure if this is it, but it was the closet thing we found to a cache!

Not where we think it’s meant to be. Is a rock with some fabric tied to it in the hole tho.

I was close by for another cache so thought I'd try my luck with this one as well. Really quiet here with covid so probably no better time to have a hint without people going past. Hopefully they'll be busy again soon.

It's a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in memories. That's why I'm only stretching the Travel Bug from the adventures in New Zealand. Writing "Found it" is no longer correct, but it wasn't today.

I love the sculpture that gives this cache it's name. I found the cache quickly and grabbed it from it's hidey hole. I felt a bit of a sting on my hand when grabbing it. It took a while to notice the small wasps nest right in the hole. I squashed it but future finders beware - it was ouchy but not too bad. TFTC.

A fun place to stop. I am on a North Island Figure of Eight your. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout. We are basing ourselves in Rotorua during this time.

We live just up the road and only just got onto getting this cache. Kids love visiting the Agrodome so finding this cache was a great find. Follow log clues especially if you have little people, cuts from grass are nasty. TFTF

FYI it's not in the bushes. Search the rocks. Almost got sunstroke trying to find it. That was a good one guys.

Decided the theme park nearby would be the ideal place to meet up with family just arrived from Aussie on holiday and the various furred, fleeced and feathered creatures did indeed prove popular! Found the cache while waiting for them to arrive. It was very wet inside and we dried it as best we could and added a temporary replacement log in a plastic bag. TFTC

Visiting from Alaska and Arkansas with Calliope516 and visited this farm. We told our tour driver that we wanted a picture with the big sheep at the end of the drive and off we went. Easy find...lucky enough to go to the correct side on the first try. TFTH.

There was a muggle mowing the lawns around GZ as we arrived but fortunately he was just finishing and continued to mow a bit further away as we searched for the cache. He did initially look over at us with a bit of suspicion but when we started to take photos of the cache guardian he lost interest.
We checked a few spots before finding the right one. Great place for a cache. Thanks Eruptn.

I'm on a road trip with my lad to meet up with old friends in one of my favourite places in New Zealand, Rotorua. I come as often as I can but not often enough these days, so this has been my first chance to visit the Bay of Plenty as a Geocacher.

As one of our party was visiting NZ for her first time, we figured that a quick outing to the Agrodome was in order so she could see a few very distinctive activities before we were to make our way back into town for a stroll around Kuirau Park. It seemed a no-brainer for us to stop to try for this cache, given that we were driving right past it.

The find presented us with no issues a t all thanks to the good co-ordinates and helpful Hint.
Everything was fine with it, so we quickly signed ourselves into the log and replaced everything back exactly as found and scurried off back to our waiting friends.
Thanks for the cache, and giving me another reason to like coming here.

Our first find

Arriving in Rotorua this afternoon we wanted to find just a couple of caches before making our way to our accommodation. This one was nice and handy, so we parked up opposite the impressive sheep statue. The hide was soon located, log signed, and photo with sheep taken. Thanks for the fun stop.

Easy find straight away. Needs a little TLC though, all wet and gross, log sheet looks okay but I forgot my pen.

We found little bo peep easily and I also managed to find some fresh dog poo when I accidentally stood in some. I did my best to clean my boot while trying not to puke as the smell was awful and thankfully had a spare pair of shoes in the car. I get so angry with dog owners who don't clean up after their pets

Found this one in the early evening, and it was a quick find with the hint and no muggles in sight. Unfortunately a dog had recently left its calling card at GZ which the owner had not picked up, and Merlot stood in it. As we drove away, we got a strong smell of poop, so pulled over to inspect our shoes. Fortunately Merlot had a second pair of shoes so was able to wear these for our drive home.

Weiter gehts für fazzyOne und mich auf unserer Tour durch Neuseeland. Auf dem Weg Richtung Auckland haben wir wieder einige Urwälder durchschritten, viele verschimmelte Logstreifen gesehen und einige Überraschungen erlebt. Dieser Cache konnte nach einigem Suchen gut gefunden werden.

Die Tagestour ging zurück zum Start. Die letzten Tage in diesem wundervollen Land sollen direkt am Abflugort verbracht werden. Schließlich gibt es dort noch einige Attraktionen zu sehen. Auf dem Weg lag der ein oder andere Cache; so wie dieser hier. Wieder mal gabs diverse feuchte Logbücher, aber am Ende konnten wir alle finden und signieren.

Not on a caching adventure, but a quick check of my phone whilst at another event revealed that this was too close to ignore! Didn’t have a pen with me, and there was no instrument in the cache, so trust a photo will suffice

Yet another quick find thanks

Road trip with NZPatoto to spend a couple of nights in her motorhome at Lake Rerewhakaaitu (fantastic little spot, peaceful but not quiet due to the frogs and just what the doctor ordered), completing caches on the way there and back home. Got most, had to leave a couple due to parking, traffic and size of motorhome. 26 in Total, 2 DNF, 1 Note and 1 disabled (not included in count) on the homeward trip. Was open when NZPatoto print the details. 1 of 26 Found by Nahkins. Day 1 - Travelling to Lake. Could not tell my east from the west so read the clue and turned out to be an easy find. Log signed and replaced for the next cacher. TFTC

Headed off with Nahkins on a road trip in my motorhome. Headed to Lake Rerewhakaaitu doing caches on the way, while we stayed and on way home. Had mixed results.A couple I couldn't stop as there wasn't enough room for parking. 2 DNF. 1 disabled the day after I had printed out the list. Lots of blackberry in places. Plenty of parking. Nahkins found this one. It was nice quick find. TFTC.

It's strange as you grow older, when I was younger this sheep seemed super massive, now it looks smaller. Great day out today around Rotorua and the kids loved visiting the sheep and finding a bunch of eggs in the grass nearby. Picked up the Boomerang Stork Trackable.

Second day in Rotorua. We are visiting from Toronto ON Canada to spend 25 days with our daughter who lives in Wellington NZ. We have planned a driving tour of both the north island and the south island. Quick stop at GZ. Found at 12:36 PM. Thank you Eruptn for placing and maintaining this cache.

Stopped here on our way home to Papakura from the WENZ Megan. . . Quick find and have left new log sheet in a new plastic bag and dropt a TB for someone else to move along . . . . . And a Path tags for someone to keep & log or move along . . . . TFTC

Last cache of the day, road tripping from Auckland to Rotorua

Out caching today collecting caches for the Turtle souvenir. The weather is warm too. I'm off to Rotorua for the day. I came across this ginormous sheep, he wasn't too bothered by my presence, he seemed to be glued to the spot. I searched all over the grass stuff and not finding the cache I re-read the description... east! Why didn't I spot that in the hint???? No wonder I wasn't finding the cache! Always pays to read the description properly eh... and before you get to GZ.... lol!

I decided to come to Rotorua as there are plenty of unfound caches here to find so that for today my calender changes to a darker shade of green.

I had to wait until all the muggles went past.

Nice sheep and nice find. Great cache to find on the way home from Rotorua. The log was very very wet, placed the current log sheet in a new plastic bag to keep it dry. TFTC

We came to the Agrodome back in 2014 and at the time I missed this cache. Now on a return visit during our honeymoon tour, I wasn’t about to miss it this time. Thanks for the fun!
