The plastic logroll was hard to write on. No idea if it will stick. But we found it.TFTC, dky za ke!
I spent the day caching traveling from Manawatu to Masterton. Mainly park and grabs. Along gravel country roads. After checking in to the motel, I wanted to do the multi at Hanley Lake (I.e.go for a walk). I had been to this lake a month ago when I had brought Junior down to attend a swim meet. Then I had walked along the tracks at the other end of the lake, so it was great to walk around the whole lake this time. Tftc.
All good to go - replacement cache installed. Please remove from its hide with care!
Repairs are complete now that the epoxy has fully cured. I'm planning to put the cache back within the next 10 days.
Repairs to the cache are underway. When I can get a more idiot-proof means of attachment, it will be returned to service and enabled.
Thanks Itchyfeet2020 for securing the cache container. I've retrieved it today and brought it home for 'alterations'. I'll replace it when I can devise a better attachment mechanism.
Out having a fun day in the Rapa with NZ_B. Its around 29 degrees today so the plan had a few points of focus but was to ensure we just had a nice cruisy caching day in the country. And that is what we did - we headed first to Kiriwhakapapa Reserve as I was dying to know if the old one was still there - turns out it was - great find by NZ_B despite it not having been found since mid 22. We then headed over to Eketahuna for a couple we wanted there, before retuning to this park in Masterton. The 11 stage multi was the focus here but very nice to have a couple of trads to keep a eye out for as well. Unfortunately this one was on the ground CartertoniC and I couldn't work out how to refix it. I tucked it away as best I could but it probably needs attention and a new screw.
Clever! Wife found it before I did! I did a Dad look, I think Coordinates 4-5m off for me. Enjoyed the hunt.

Today I went for a lovely walk around the Lake and decided to sign off 2 trads on the way.
This was the first for the day.
The screw is a little loose as the piece of wood was not exactly in place and the log could be seen. I left it as best as I could.
Cheers for the cache. Hurricane Luke and Cartertonic.

Might need a tighten up but didn't have the right tools. Subject to being muggled as is.
Quick find, clever hide tftc. A beautiful area to explore on a Sat afternoon and watch the Wakarama.
Moving in together plus first geocache where J hurt his shin on the monkey bars woohoo
A nice little cache. FP for the ingenuity, thanks for bringing us here and for maintaining this well executed cache
Cheeky wee hide as we worked our way through the Henley Lake Multi. Great spot around the lake with a top view away from prying muggle eyes. TFTC
Found it after a DNF last time we were here! Didn't have a pencil so didn't record
Found it after dinner when staying at the lake for the night. An awesome park with cool sport parcours, nice views and a lot of birds. Like this place a lot. Cache was found quickly. TFTC!
Used the freedom camping site and did a nice evening loop walk around the lake. This one was found quickly.
Found this one during morning walk around lake. Log was misplaced and was returned to assumed correct location. Tftc and greetings from Finland.
Awesome day out for a walk, Tristan got it first pop but sadly we didn't have a pen
Didn’t have a pen so couldn’t log so I will log here.

Nice sneaky cache forgot a pen. But great views and bike ride around the lake
Lovely lake walk this morning with the kiddies after parking up in the free camping spot last night. What a great location! Thanks for hiding. Very creative!
On a walk around the lake hoping the rain keeps off. Took a while as had wrong idea at first. Then spotted it. Nice one.
Very clever hide. I originally looked under, and noticed it but didn't think it was a cache. Changed my tactic and thought maybe I was the one who needed to be underneath. Nope. Went back to the same original location and tried again. Success! The log has dried out and was easy to sign. TFTC
Found on my 6 weeks long holiday. I like this cache a lot, only thing is this logbook is wet, should be inside something waterproof.
We enjoyed a lovely rode around the park and onto Queen Elizabeth Park. It was a beautiful sunny day and just perfect for a spot of quality family time ️
Have often driven past this Lake, but never stopped. Beautiful place to visit. Clever hide, TFTC
