This one for the day. Would make a great overnighter for caravans. Find one more in town and keep moving. TSTC.
Found with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We were happy to make a quick find here today as the container was fe,missing on our last visit. Thanks for the cache TK2.
Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Moving from PA to Clare today and caching along the route. Thanks Tk2
Found it! Never stopped in this town before but this cache gave us a reason. Would never have thought there used to be a cricket ground here. TFTC!

Caching from WA west coast to SA for the leap year mega. TFTC. Nice place to sit and watch the harvest.

Adelaide to Port Lincoln Road Trip!
Day One: Gumeracha to Quorn.
Weather: the rain held off, even south of the Goyder Line.
One of six caches found in Yacka, a small mid north town that seems to have more than its fair share of caches.
The cache container here reminded me of my recent trip to the US - these are common there.
Thanks for the hide Tk2.
It’s officially a Mega!

This week my wife and I had been holidaying in Clare. The weather had been so-so all week so we were filling in the days by driving to little towns to spend some tourist dollars. After seeing a few ads on TV we decided today was going to be spent at Port Pirie.
Mrs Woodyrothwell was playing on her phone and I needed a quick break on the drive so asked if there were any caches close by. Surely a place called Yacka had one or two up its sleeve.
She turned to me and said you are going to like this one because it has something to do with cricket. In this rain I thought that maybe the covers were on, however I wasn’t expecting a sheep to be fielding at mid wicket. I closed my eyes to imagine a time when the willow was wielded but all I heard was the chewing of grass. tftc

I could not find the container either so have replaced both the container and logbook.
We looked everywhere and 5 people could not spot the cache today. Maybe could do with a check.
Thanks anyway Tk2.
Thanks anyway Tk2.
Another cache found on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another very chilly, blustery day. We are rugged up well and off hunting down a few caches along the way. We love the strange places Geocaching takes us, a grandstand where you can sit and watch the crop grow? brilliant, love it.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

So we were all set to fly to Dayboro for the Queensland Mega this weekend. There hadn't been a case in Qld for a quite a few weeks before we decided to book in early Feb. What are the chances of a case causing a lockdown and closing the border we thought..So when it all did happen just 4 days before we where due to leave, we were royally peed off. So we had to cancel and find somewhere else to spend Easter. Pt Broughton was a last minute choice. Yesterday we pulled up stumps and headed to White Cliffs campground to join friends for Easter Sunday/Monday. Had a great afternoon /evening with spit roast meat and potato bake with exotic cheeses! Today after most had left apart from Chrispy89, we decided to leave early (we were going to stay until Tuesday morning to avoid the traffic) so we packed up camp and cached our way to Yakka . Chrispy89 had left at the previous cache to head home, while we headed into Yakka to clear out the town. A quick find at gz TFTC
Gridge98 asked if I wanted to go caching[?] and that word 'caching' deserved a yes[^]
There was an event at Clare at 4pm which was the goal for the day[^] anything else was just a bonus
38 cache smilies: 36 caches found , 1 cool event attended and 1 cache beta tested[^]
I've seen a few lost and neglected ovals since I started geocaching[xx(]
Got to like it when they have a cache though

Picked up geoson from train. Headed randomly North.
Had a loose plan.
Met Mr Froghoppin along the way - plan changed of course!
Short trip turned into an epic journey with caching along the way

Interesting spot Can visualise spectators sitting watching the cricket Travelling with Juju54 TFTC
There is certainly no cricket in the immediate future as there is a very healthy grain crop growing on the ground. The players rooms and watching area looks forlorn as it gazes out onto the drain green grain plants. Reasonably accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Tk2 for the cache.
Caching our way north picking up random caches as we go. This one came up on radar. That's a cricket ground!! Really..Tftc
Hi there Tk2. Today was a driving day between Port Pirie and Gawler. This cache was found quickly while on a slowish drive and enjoying the counrtyside (at about 70kmp). The container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to Tk2 for this cache - our find # 6243.
What a fabulous place to sit and watch the wheat grow
The crop is definitely ready for harvest,
so this will be a good spot to sit and watch the wheat go in the next week or so

Traveling down through these rolling green paddocks we stopped at the 'crop grandstand'. Not even the grandstand could stop the strong blustering wind!

found it on a nice day out especially seeing the lovely canola fields and the creeks running from recent rains. TFTC
Shame this building isnt used anymore but I guess thats progress. We were searching around the outside as gps was telling us, but found it eventually. Thanks
found it on the way home from the june long weekend event. I stopped playing cricket in year 9 in high school myself, I never was great at it, just average all rounder, probably best at batting
So I am on my way from Mount Gambier to Wirrabara for the JLW event. Of course this just means I need to go geocaching.
So car is packed with the special temporary hides and I pick up brisal5 and off we go....
Thanks for the creative cache.

We found this while on our Historic Walk. An odd thing though, as we just left a police paddy wagon pulled up around the back of the bowling green and went straight to the grandstand, maybe someone thought we were robbing the place.
Thank you for the cache TK2.
