Floods again.

27-Oct-12
Whoops, this one slipped under the radar - I didn't realise that the second WP was missing. I'll replace it in the next few days.

28-Sep-12
Sad to say we were stumped by the loss of the WP2 container and unlike others, were unable to puzzle where to find GZ.

However, we loved the spot and enjoyed the walk. Thanks anyway, we hope WP2 is back in operation next time we pass through the area.

15-Sep-12
lovely walk. WP2 may be missing as we could not find it after much scratching

15-Sep-12
wp1 found but was no sign of wp2 but found gz easily enough on the way back, nice little stroll.tftc

14-Apr-12
Very nice. A bit tricky to add spot1 and 2 to get 3.

13-Apr-12
Great one Matty. Really enjoyed the puzzle.

12-Apr-12
Fantastic geocache this was great. Loved the cryptic co ordinates. It was awesome! Thanks for the effort

02-Apr-12
This cache is back on line. A little bit larger cache at GZ this time, and it's packed full of swag. Enjoy!

10-Mar-12
Looks like the rains have eased for a bit. Cache will be back online in the next few days.

Decided to do this cache some time ago. There was light rain and the river wasn't too high so we set out. Clever multi, a fantastic walk, big stash of swaps and not a muggle in sight. Took TB and torch, left a hairband and keyring. Really enjoyed it, thanks MattyRX.

24-Jan-12
After the heavy rainfall the last few days, I decided it best to go and pick up this cache and the waypoint containers - but I was too late. The cache's hiding spot was under water - and the cache gone. I presume it's now drifting down the Richmond river - headed for Evans Head. I'll replace it as soon as the river drops back into it's banks.

23-Dec-11
Great location even in heavy rain. Thank goodness for Goretex! A new favourite. Took Uncle Sam TB, left DVD and Husky TB. TFTC.

26-Nov-11
Loved this walk and loved the clever waypoint clues. A really nice place to visit. TFTC

19-Sep-11
An excellent well prepared multi. Thanks MattyRX, gets a favourite point from us. TN left an elephant and Uncle Sam's Bear TB.

20-Aug-11
This was such a fantastic cache, we really enjoyed it. This kids had a great time walking, watching birds and crossing the creek. TFTC

02-Aug-11
Geoson and myself found this one today by luck couldn't find WP2 but did find GZ Love the walk Left TB

02-Aug-11
I popped down to the forest to check up on WP2 after work today. I checked the spot it lives in, and found it safe and sound. Due to the canopy GPS signals can be a bit dodgy, so I’ve uploaded a photo with this log that is a spoiler for this tricky waypoint.

Needs maintenance have sent MattyRX a message to fix you might not find WP2 right now.Sad But hope it will be fixed soon because it is a great spot Big Grin

14-Jul-11
Our First Muli cache. was a lot of fun the trees played havock with the GPS thought we would have to dig up the obvious elm but then tried moving around and got a new direction to find WP2 what a cache was full to the brim Geokid was in her element great fun highlight of the day. TFTC

TNLNSL.
Pretty walk although it was very slippery today due to rain.

02-Apr-11
What a fabulous short walk Smile
I never would have found without the Geocaching tour guide !!
A peaceful place with still a lot of water gurgling through the creek below.
Yes!! As promised... no muggles Big Grin

With waypoint one found the contents had me intrigued.
I guessed the meaning of the hieroglyphs and went off in search of waypoint two Razz
Sure enough the contents within revealed hidden details of where I was headed next.
A fabulous and slightly devious puzzle Smile

I continued my stroll and soon found me a cache along the trail.

I wonder if you have to pay for each cricket ball you hit for a six on this ground ?
'Cos you won't find 'em Razz

22-Mar-11
I went for a walk down the forest and the place had fully recovered from the floods that we experienced at the start of the year. I missed having this cache online as I put a bit of effort into it….so I’ve resurrected it. All waypoints are back in place.

On the way back

28-Dec-10
I went for a walk down the forest to see how it fared after the recent flood. Some of the WP locations are no longer suitable hiding spots, so I've decided to archive rather than reprint the cards used at WP1 and WP2.. A flood proof idea is the works, but it won't be a multi.

25-Dec-10
The river has risen to a critical point again, so I've pulled the cache out of the forest. I will replace it as soon as the river drops back into it's banks!

17-Oct-10
What a great puzzle cache. Loved the clues. Thanks MattyRX for the effort. It is easy to see where the water got to. Done after sitting in SES HQ in Kyogle all weekend doing a training course. I took an interested muggle with me and she loved the idea of geocaching. This was a great one to introduce her to the sport.
Took Austrian Bear TB to continue the journey back home.

LATE INFORMATION: On checking combined totals for .com and Geo.aus caches it was revealed that this was in fact my 200th combined find. THANKS for the opportunity.

All waypoints are back in place, and the river had dropped back down. GZ had 3 meters of water over it due to the high level of rainfall. The forest has had a good wash, and is ready to be explored!

10-Oct-10
2 weeks of rain have raised the level of the creek, and with the rain still coming down, I thought it wise to remove the cache and associated WPs. It'll be back in play as soon as the water drops.

28-Sep-10

What a terriffic cache. A lot of effort by the owner. The waypoint cards are fantastic, and the way to determine GZ was very clever. Always enjoy a good ammo box at the end as well.

Thoroughly recommend this cache. Dropped off Austrian Bear TB. Left all my swaps in the car so none today. Thanks for a great cache.

10-Sep-10
