Logs
This poor cache really needs some love! The bucket and mint tins were completely full of water and the notes inside the tins were complete mush! The new log that was placed by PP2 was amazingly dry so after emptying the buckets and tins we were able to sign the log!
Replaced the log because it was mush. Put it in a waterproof bag. TFTC AusTrackers
Found it, it's not quite water proof anymore. Cool cache, saw multiple kangaroos up close on the way, some maintenance might be good though!
Wrote 'you sadist' into the log and I mean it in the best way. Cache lid has some damage but it is well sheltered.
First ever geocache for us. My eight year old son loves this activity. Thanks so much.
Came to do the CPS series but, after seeing that the parking waypoint was right next to the first in this series, decided to double up.
Hard to miss this big fella and liked the concept. Found the log, but could not find a clue for the final - because there is no clue (derrr). I'll learn to read properly one day! TFTC AusTrackers.

A short stroll, a short search, found cache, stamped and returned. Wanted to get back out here and continue my walk and finish off the nearby series. Didn't take too long to find this one. Good concept.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment AusTrackers. Appreciate your effort.

This was different to say the least.
Took us a while but located the main part eventually.
Lots of fun.

TFTC! Another Thursday out with Cravo10 to pickup a few more series in the outer suburbs of Perth, I think we may be finally starting to make a dent in the list
We headed to gosnells/kenwick area first picking up the Charli series by Grannett which was similar to the Charli walk series we did quite some time ago but a nice walk along a sealed path for most of the way apart from a few deviations into the bush. We found them all except number 3 which we may return to in the dry season!!
We then tried for a few allied prankster archived caches from the ants and birds series, with 5 of the 6 attempted located safe and sound although we did have to add a logbook to two of them as someone had damaged the micro caches. All still there and working well otherwise.
With Cravo10 rolling his ankle it made the day a bit tougher, but I did make him soldier through the CPS series near roleystone and the carpobrotus series by austrackers nearby which were both enjoyable and all found in easy logical spots, we will return another day to grab the three final caches as well as me and Bs caches further up the road.
Thanks to the local COS for a great days caching. Thanks

I’ve actually found Eclipseae mentalis on 14 Aug 2016 (Sun), but there wasn’t a log book in. I went back and realise what it is all about. Came back today to make a proper found. I found it on the 18th. Being such a unique cache a favourite point is in order! TN; Left “B” is for Brae TB SL TFTH AusTrackers. Brilliant!
All nice and new again. We replaced the 'stolen' ammo-can with a plastic container and topped up the finder cards.
TFTC
Found it in the third!!
If there is only one log - it needs a new one - log is full

Funny as... Watch out for spiders... Found this giant huntsman hiding in between the mint tins
Hi, it needs a new plastic bag as it is ripped. Also there are only two cards left in this one.
After caching in the area last Saturday we decided to come back and visit the nearby Araluen Park and hunt down some of the remaining hides. The two series in the Wungong Regional Park were very inviting, so we left the car at the published parking area and off we went.
This hide was a short detour as it is not part of the series which we realized after opening all the tins for the clue-card... Anyway, we liked the idea a lot! Fav point earned.

Headed out to do the 'Carpobrotus virescens' series today with the muggle son who sometimes likes to tag along on some of my hikes. Parked a the suggested waypoint and about two hours later we were back at the car after a nice stroll albeit with a few ups and downs to get the heart pumping.
Found all the caches plus a couple of others easily enough along with the final although it took a while before we stumbled upon the main track. Muggle son's name is in the logs as Shano88, he probably wont log online.
After a bit of bush bashing from 'Pigface' we had a quick find here once we arrived at GZ and as soon I grabbed the bag I knew what I was in for, had some previous experience with this type of hide. We sat on the nearby log and it wasn't too long before the signing duties were completed.
AusTrackers I found your cache at 12:17pm, this was the 2nd of 9 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2051. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

I had no idea what to expect with this cache and was surprised when I 'opened the container'. In due course I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. An enjoyable though strenuous walk so far, but it goes cross-country from here. Thanks to AusTrackers for the cache.
KID FREE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These only come along once in a blue moon, so Janine and I took full advantage of it and headed into the hills.
The day was a bit warmer than we had thought it may be, but we still had a pretty productive day.
Overall we had one DNF and one failure to complete a really easy puzzle.
OMG *&%$#@!!!!!!! The biggest, hairiest spider jumped out of the cache bag, so please take care when emptying it.
Thanks for the cache Austrackers

Headed out with MNS13 for some kid free caching in the Wungong Regional Park... After parking near Pigface, we continued on up the hill towards this cache Very soon we diverted from the track & headed towards this cache which was also found with no trouble, but then the fun begun [:o)] The fun involved MNS13, a big hairy spider & screams which would have been heard over the whole valley haha!!!
Thanks AusTrackers For those reading this log, you have been warned

We set ourselves the goal of doing this next leg. We parked as suggested and then saw the trail gate a little way down the road.
We noticed Ecilsease Mintalis was close so detoured off to make a quick find or so we thought as we now had to sign the log. We had seen this type before and soon got there. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
We then looked at the way points for the CPS series and saw the direct route was less than half the distance of the trail heads. Given the bush has light undergrowth we headed straight to GZ following some animal trails. We then went about finding the others nearby without to much fuss. The majority of the caches are running low cards. A quick calc for the 2 mystery caches and we soon tracked those down while coming across some large roos. With the logs signed it was back to the car. TFTC.

Out today with Geodad with 1 1/2 hours to kill so we tackled The Carpobrotus series. Most were good co-ords and 1 cache took a while longer then others but found in the end.
THTS Austrackers.
Cache was waterlogged but able to write on log.

Someone stole the Ammobox!
We found the contents still hidden in the same spot and it is able to be logged but we will have to return with another container.

I was here nice and early this morning and was caching by torchlight. As I approached GZ something caught my eye and I had a fair idea what was required. I was able to extract the log after a couple of minutes and replaced the container. TFTC AusTrackers. A well deserved favourite point for the neat idea.
After work with 2 hours to spare, I decided to do the caches in this hill, I came a cross a number of good hide and all caches were in good condition...TFTC
whilst doing the multicache that is in the same area we decided to claim this one whilst we were so close.. love the twist to this one we got half way through the pile untill we found the one that we needed... tftc signed log
Came out to see tulips at Araluen with dnanx & geotoddler. Nice walk through the bush. We hiked with a picnic blanket as we promised 3yo we could stop and have some cake. So quiet amongst the bush on our blanket as we signed the log. Very cool cache. Thanks!
Loved this cache! Stopped at the GZ for a picnic to celebrate our find. So peaceful up here. TFTC AusTrackers
Found this one today. Nice cache, this was the first time I brought the hubby caching with us, he had a laugh at this one
Out on a morning of caching with the geohubby and we grabbed this cache whilst doing the nearby series. I have to say this was our favourite cache of the day and i couldnt stop laughing when we opened the container. A favourite point from us TFTC AusTrackers
While doing the Carpobrotus series found this cache. Bit of a trick but didn't take long. Deserves a favorite
This one gets a favourite point purely for the enjoyment Geoson got out of it. He laughed and read and laughed and read and "This is so much fun!" and read and became more and more expressive "that's what is written" and laughed some more. I thought I'd join in the fun but found it in two, not that he minded he kept picking and reading and laughing and reading so THANK YOU AusTrackers you really ticked his funny bone.
Gotta love weekends! After a crazy week, was great to get out on the geocaching trail again. Had the caches in this area picked for todays foray. 16 tries for me before I found it whilst geobuddy tried another 7. Loved the fun though. Thanks AusTrackers
That's nasty! Well for Ian anyway - I picked up two and had it in one!
This cache is the best place for this evil species.

First of the series attempted today with KC41194.
Planning on collecting all the nearby ones!
One of 20 finds for the day!
And by far the most fun! Easily deserved Fave point. Thanks!

Such a great idea for signing the log. But the march flies were out in force and I didn't want to get eaten alive. So didn't sign the log. TFTC.
Having studied the distribution pattern of this elusive species for some time I was excited by the prospect of observing one up close. I waited for the start of the wildflower season hoping to increase my chances and was very pleased to discover such a large crop. I started to count them but ended up stopping at 6. TFTC!
Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Quick find here. Initially, I thought that the log had been lost ... I even got one out of my kit and signed it before deciding to investigate further. This really cracked me up when the penny dropped.
Fav point for this one. SL. LN. Grabbed a finder's card. TFTH AusTrackers

Trekked randomly through the bush trying to follow a GPS arrow that was darting seemingly randomly. Had selected a couple of tins to take when we read the description. Oooops, back they went. Mickeydv was the first to find the log - not surprising really since I was enjoying reading all the messages! Thanks for the cache AusTrackers. Favourite point from me.
I've read about this sort of cache, but had never actually seen one....in fact it took us 5 minutes to realize....great concept...thanks AusTrackers
[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching with Go Allblacks, arrived at GZ and within a couple of minutes we had the cache in hand, we found the log on the fourth attempt, weren't we lucky. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH
Was checking all the caches in this area whilst on the way doing a circuit of my own.
About 16 cards left but only about 3" left on the log.

Out with iluvtrekking for the day so we decided to make a men and ladies team and split the three series in this location between us. The guys headed off to do their half and the girls completed the fabulous Austrackers set of caches before locating the final.Have seen the idea for this particular cache a couple of times before done with both film containers and kinder containers. And as luck would have it, it was almost the very last mint container that had the log. Loved it Austrackers.
Baaaaa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Love it!! [^]
As Skulduggery and I made progress into the hills, we stopped by here. We had read nothing in the logs or description so were not prepared for the cache as it was presented to us. We had a good laugh and then set about signing the log. A ffew minutes later we were good to go and so we set off again, still having a chuckle and enjoying the cache.
Thanks for the cache AusTrackers

Inserted this one into the series. What a 'nice' surprise when I found the cache and was confronted with the contents. Signed the log eventually, the off with the FWDs to finish the series. TFTC
When later in the day was chatting with some cachers and asked "so what is your favourite cache?" this one sprung to mind. Fantastic fun. Thanks a bunch AusTrackers.
Hahaha, love this one! A favourite point from me I must say though - 32nd time lucky...
I originally had some trouble extracting the ammo tin from it's hiding hole, but eventually managed to get it out. After signing the log I repacked the cache as found, and when I had poked it back into its hole I discovered that one of the items was still at my feet, so rather than pulling the box back out again I tucked the item in behind the cache, so maybe the next finder can pop it back into the cache box.
Thanks for the fun cache AusTrackers!

WanderingAus wandered by, chasing this series mso that I could hopefully find GC2V13Y Carpobrotus virescens as my 4,500th find. I knew this cache had at least one traveller in it, so I detoured to re-visit it.
I grabbed Samuel, The Texas Long Horn(G) TB (ref = TB1CQGE), and dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC, my WanderingAus GeoMobile TB and a couple of other travellers in for a visit before grabbing them back again.
As I previously mentioned, Johanna (ref = TB320HK) is definitely not in the cache, and needs to be marked as missing by the cache owner.
There was a pencil in the cache but no pencil sharpener, so I dropped in a pencil sharpener.
