It was Mums (SethRaven) birthday on Friday and today she wanted to spend the morning caching & suggested Huntly . . . . . . . TFTC, Mum took all the TBs home with us. Lovely roses near by
trackable paradise . . . . . . when my son (2FLYTIM) opened this nice sized container and announced travel bugs . . . . . . .I was like WOOHOO . . . . . .take them all!! And so we did . . . . . . and we left new swag and a painted rock too, TFTC
I tried to find this one awhile back. But with no success. In the area heading to Cambridge and needed to stretch my legs. So decided to turn this blue face into a yellow face.
A little caching adventure around Huntly was long overdue, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to do so! Great fun on all counts, TFTC!!
South End of Main (Waikato) was transferred from McCutchan Cache Clan to user ABCDF4
Out with team SEAC for another adventure. Turning a frown upside down from a previous adventure. TFTC.
We returned home yesterday after a day out geocaching in the Waikino/Paeroa to a message from Mr NZT about a handful of mystery caches in Hamilton he was trying to solve and head down to retrieve before they are archived. We decided to join him, along with LiverKiwi, and NurseDr.A few more caches on our way home. This was a blue face that we are happy is now a yellow smiley. A nice quick find here today
Out of town on a caching mission with Kiwi Does Stuff, made a plan for the few days up in Auckland and hit the road. Making our way back to Rotorua through Huntly and grabbing some quick park and grabs along the way. TFTC!
Day 2 of our out of town mission with Reschedule. Decided we would head into Huntly on our way home to bulk up numbers.
Mrs NZT and I decided to have a road trip day today. Left home at 6.30am (crazy I know when we are on holiday but then this is holiday enjoyment for us!!!), drove lots of kms all over the place and back home in time for dinner with a nice haul of smiles (we mostly had smiles today woohoo).Woohoo previous DNF avenged. Had been here a while ago with some of the Team SEAC crew with no luck. Today however was nice and easy. Thanks for the cache.
Quick walk around while we were in Huntly for a short time to get some groceries from Countdown. Quick find
A nice quick find exactly where we expected it to be.
It was quite early in the day so not a lot of traffic around but we still had to be a bit stealthy as a few cars were passing by.
TFTC.

Another quick park and grab on our Huntly expedition as we head toward Taupo. TFTC .
Looked in all the likely spots as we were parked near by doing the Huntly Icon Ad Lab, most likely gone I would say...
Labour Weekend has historically been a minimum 3 day Team SEAC all out adventure so a little while ago I started planning some fun for us. After a walking day yesterday, today was a driving one and more about the numbers and clearing out an area we have had our eyes on for a while. Ended up being a massive day (left home around 8.30am and got home at 1:40am!)....it wasn't called a Mega Mysterious Weekend for nothing. Enjoyed the fun with friends...just like the 'old' times.
Parked across the road and wandered across for a look but no luck for us today

Last year, Team SEAC members went on a road trip down to Cambridge to clear out as many of the caches in that town and its surrounding areas. On the way home from that trip, we stopped off in Huntly to do the night cache. After completing the night cache, we vowed to come back to Huntly and grab as many of the caches in that area as we could. Today was that day.
We had seen that there had been a few DNFs on this cache lately, but still wanted to give it a go. As it was on a busy road intersection, a delegation went to search for the cache, as too many people doing that may have been a little on the dangerous side. Anyway, after searching everywhere we could think of, we came up empty-handed.

It's been a full-on weekend, which started on Friday with me taking my son up to Auckland so that he could fly out on Saturday on his OE. As I type this, he's still on that journey, whilst at the same time I've spent most of today driving back down so that I can go back to work tomorrow.
But of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to target a few caches to break up my journey. I stopped in Huntly, and had a look for this cache, but couldn't find any evidence of it at all

Whilewaiting for our takeawys to get ready we walked over to this hide. We found an obvious cache container with no log. As I didn't have my caching kit on me we came back later with a log to place in it. Thanks for placing McCutchan Cache Clan!
Had a quick look but started to pour with rain, found another cache just down the road, rain stopped so quickly came back to retrieve this one
Lent my bike against the rail and walk away searching but I ended up going back to my bike finding it a few inches from my back wheel.
Day 29 of my TA adventure..
Heading to huntly for a half day and a few caches around the area..

Ren138(nuk04) Geo Roady Birthday Part 2...
We were only on the 2nd suit of the Deck of Cards Series when nature started calling so we headed to Huntly to empty, and fill our car. Thought we'd do a few here before heading back to finish the deck
Nice quick find after the phone readjusted itself and pointed us the right way. Nice swaps

Some cool travel bugs in this cache! So cool ti be able to have a quick stop here and check them out.
A quick easy find with nobody parking here on a Sunday. I've often looked at Huntly on the geocaching map as I drive past. It's nice to get the chance to mostly fill it in with nice yellow smiles, TFTC
As advertised, a quick P and G. Now to get out of the motorcyclists' carpark before anyone notices. TFTC.
Had a great day in Huntly picking up some caches. The weather was beautiful and giving us a taste of summer. Thanks to all the COs for taking me to Huntly’s interesting places TFTC
Beautiful flowers on a great day for some caching. All is well here. TFTC!
Been a while since I've done any serious caching so thought I should get back into it and make a wee day of it. Driving up to Auckland for a workshop so grabbed a couple of caches in Huntly on the way up. Parked up very near to GZ at this one and quickly made the find. Signed and returned, area was quite deserted on a Sunday evening. Thanks for the cache!
I parked up in the lower car park and not realising that the upper road is a dead end. Made the short walk to GZ for a quick find. TFTC.
Out with team BOPnJAM today to knock off all the Huntly caches we could manage.
After knocking off all the caches on the far side of the river, we finally made it to this side.
Another interesting place to visit, once the muggles cleared off.
Thanks for bringing me here too.

Out for a day's caching with Team BOPnJam. What? there are lakes in Huntley!!!!
We went for a wander around the lakes and the rest of Huntley and found what we could find, only a couple of DNF's for the day, pretty happy and not so late night.

A crew from BOP and Jag50 and I teamed up to become BOPnJam and hit Huntly to get numbers for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. The weather played nice for us and we had a pretty successful day with only a couple of dnfs. This fortunately was not one of them though we did have to wait for some muggles to pass by before grabbing the cache
We joined up with a team from the BOP and Merlot58 to collect caches for the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Signed the logs as BOPnJAM to save room on the log. Thanks to the hint this cache was quickly spotted.
With Hidden Creature souvenirs up for grabs. A plan was hatched with our Westie buddies. We were all ready for a stormy rainy day but the weather gods were good to us today with no rain until getting home at 10pm. A fun day was had by all and many thanks To all the COs for giving us a reason to come here. We had a nice mixture of cache containers, types, DTs and hides. We signed as BOPnJAM to save room on the logs. Please excuse my cut and paste logs in advance due to numbers. Cheers
I’m on a bit of a caching mission…. My 6000th cache is coming up soon and I want it to land on GC12559 Basket of Dreams in Queenstown on the 26th. So I’m doing my best to make that happen! So today I’m grabbing all the park n’ grabs I can.
It's still dark here, no worries with vehicles and muggles this early morning!

Once we found the right barrier it was easily spotted. Love the trail we followed today. TFTC
No e quick find after I realised I was at the wrong place and quickly relocated. That'll teach me to leave the fone in the car.
