#10,382. A good walk that took us from Fitzherbert to Linton. This cache had been on our GPS for many years, and this was the first opportunity to have a look. GZ was all quiet when we arrived. Found after a short search. The cache was in reasonably good condition considering how long since it was last found … and all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

After searching fruitlessly for a while finally spotted the cache nice hiding spot tftc!
Stopped to watch the ducklings in the pond on this hot afternoon.
I met a jogger when I first got to the site and spent far too long looking and getting paranoid before finally finding it.

I really enjoyed the walk from the car park on Old West Road with only a jogger passing me as I was nearing GZ. After a short search the cache was found in a spot just perfect for this cache. The contents were looking a bit sad so I added a few more trinkets .
After finding the cache it was neat to stop at the nearby pond and watch the Welcome Swallows aerobatics. They are very cool birds!

Had to ditch the bike at the bottom of the steps and walk the rest of the way. TFTC
Found it on my morning run, ashamed to say it was my second attempt, and cannot believe i missed it the first time, must have almost touched it three times! TFTC
This one took me a long long time, well hidden. Felt like a troll hiding under the bridge when some runners came over.... but beats explaining my strange behaviour. TFTC
Found..after little search with Junior Cachers...Dora trackable not inside..major disapointment to little Miss Junior Cacher

Second attempt at finding this one. Lucky I know where trolls live. Cache container getting a bit rusty making it hard to open. GPS spot on Tftc.
Counted from both directions on staircase and looked underneath bridge around the 22 mark and came up empty handed.

Another mornings caching in PN - east of the river today, mostly involving short walks. Arrived at GZ and spent a few minutes searching before I found the cache - didn't look there carefully enough. Amazed and pleased at how many muggles passed by/over - a very popular track. Took 'Jack' TB. TFTC.

A quick find while caching in the area this morning. Very pleasant little walkway, I came in from SH57 and returned the same way. Signed log, TFTC!
Our last of 29 today, we come in past the disabled member of the series and left while it was quite dark.

Found with supersaks. Took a little while - knew where it was, just not exactly where it was sitting.
Saw lots of dead wildlife, so I guess it made my weekend complete.

Came in from La Lena Grove for this one, hoping to avoid too much climb, but still had a climb on the way back to the car. Took a little while to locate this one, but knew it must be there somewhere. TFTC
After a DNF on the last one in this series, continued on and had no problem finding #3. Nicely hidden and great track system in this area. TFTC
Dammit, third attempt and no luck... My non-English roots don't help me with getting clues
This morning @Wifey said "don't come home for lunch because I'll be icing your birthday cake (design is a surprise). Why don't you go caching instead?"
I replied with "see you after work!"
Found during my lunch break.

Happy Birthday to me!

Tried to find this one a few months back, but found a broken duck on the roadside. Took it to the vet at Massey....
Had to be put down.

After realising that #2 could be missing decided to carry on to #3. Nice quick find, now off to complete the final before bedtime. TFTC

TFTC, didnt check the GPS enough and walked 250m past it, so had to turn around (we will have to take more care in the future). A quick find once we had back-tracked
Fourth cache in a row for Eagle! This girl is good! And this is her first time caching... Dropped of Beware of Kiwi. Hope it'll see some native birds from here.
Another good hide, I came across this one just after the Moody Family had paid a visit, and caught up with them on later cache. TFTC
Nice find for Braiden! Great location for a cache, we are having an awesome day finding the caches in the series! Thanks for the cache.
I continued along the track from #2 with kaikawaka and found the area. First searches were a bit wide, but at a hint that this was so I quickly homed in on the right spot.
Had some fun this afternoon dodging showers and completing the Valley Walks series. Nice quick find here.

A quick find after continuing on down the track from Valley Walks #2 followed by a fast walk back to the car just as it started to rain. TFTC
A nice easy find, although I wasn't sure the container I found would be it until I got it open! Thanks.
We walked on from #2, a bit of a slog coming back so happy to have some shade to cool down in.

#2135. Carried on here from #2. Great collection of tracks in this area. TFTC.
Becoming a caching cliche...another place I never knew was here...thanks to this series of caches. Scrabbled around, found it quite quickly.
Walkways very quiet today, great for a walk Number 3 of the series for us. -stick, +train
I made my way here from the Old West Road carpark. It was a nice stroll on a walkway I didn't previously know about.
A nice little walk and was pleasntly surprised to learn of this his track which I didn't know of previously.

Found with sfortyoner while working off too much lunch. Hope the next flood does not wash the cache away. TFTC.
Very accurate GPS on the day so it had to be that end, but there was nowhere for it to be. Well, there was, but the container is a nice colour match for its site. Plainly there once you spot it.
Have removed a travel bug and will take the Sergeant to a LotR site in the Hutt. See if I can construct a nice photo to add to a gallery.
Nice walk to help work off some Xmas calories.

Nice hide. Mr 10 (with his sharp eyes!) insisted he had looked under that end & it wasn't there! So while he was looking on the other side i scrambled down & quickly spotted it, much to his disgust

1500hrs. A good walk from number 2. We enjoyed the new tracks while visiting from Australia. TFTCSL
Continued down the path to get this one from Valley Walk #2, found this one in the first place I looked after the muggles disappeared from view, was a bit hard as muggles would appear out of no-where BUT got there in the end. Now for the walk back to the car, enjoyed the walk and the views, thanks for bringing me here, TFTC TNLNSL (2360)
Another walk for the dog. I see they have fixed the approaches to the bridge up. No longer looks like it is going be washed away.
feel like we are cheating a little, driving as close as possible. Aim to come back and walk them all at some stage. TFTC
A quick find now that we were back on track with the route!!!! Left a pet rock - a chicken. TFTC
Quick find using clue after getting #2. Signed log, left signature trade item. TFTC
The access under the Turitea Stream Bridge wasn't usable today - completely under water and may have been washed away? We had to use the alternative track up and across the road instead. A slightly longer walk for this one, then the cache was a quick easy find. Mrs W.E.K.A. went to write the codes on her little piece of paper, only to discover it was no longer in her pocket, along with the codes from #5 and #3 done earlier today! TFTC
After #2 we soon were in the area for this cache - another nice location. Quick search and cache found. SL -TB TFTC
a quick check after the storms and pleased to say all is well, even the tracks are drying out
edvern found this one, while I was looking on the other side.
Nice location.
Thanks.
Nice location.
Thanks.
Found on a joint FTF night time raid with nzcoozer. The track from #2 to this one is extremely sloshy at present! Neatly placed, thanks.
