Sounds like this has gone, and I think the garden should be given a rest. Thanks all

17-Oct-13
No luck with this one this afternoon. This is the second attempt in the last couple of months and given other DNF's may be worth a CO check.

16-Oct-13
Went two days in a row, but couldn't find it.
Early Rizers
New Zealand

23-Jul-13
Walked to this one from over the road. After some searching, found what I think is the first part of the hint, but blowed if I could find the cache.
Muggled out in the end, the ONLY couple in the play ground kept giving curious looks in my direction, so gave up and played swing with the grandson. That satisfied their looks

03-Jun-13
The logbook and contents were very wet. We dried things out as much as a short visit would allow. Maintenence is required as soon as possible.

03-Jun-13
Today we decided to focus on the parklands to the south and south-east of the city. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Unfortuantely there was water in the container resulting in a wet logbook and contents. The logbook was just signable but does need replacing as soon as possible. TFTC chillibutts.

24-May-13
Finished work a bit early on a Friday afternoon so what better way to spend my free time than to go geocaching! An easy find, the hardest part was making sure I was not being watched due to the openness of the area. Agree with previous entries, log is wet but I was still able to sign it. Had a chuckle at the camoflage, certainly helps it blend in! TFTC chillibutts!

23-May-13
Easy find with very accurate coordinates. Just managed to spot it in the fading light. Container was a bot wet inside, but the log was signable. Could do with a dry out on a hot day.

Thanks chillibutts

14-May-13
No fun happenin today cause its raining...TFTC

13-May-13
Found it easily today, but two days ago could not find. Must have been blind. Need to believe the GPS. Got side tracked by the clue. TFTC

04-May-13
After the May the Fourth be with you flashmob event, I was supposed to head down to Morphett Vale to meet family however muggle partner changed the plans... so that gave me time to wander the city and do the locus cache on some caches: I finally left the city for home at 7.30pm after a midday event Wink

If there is an easy way in, it will not be found until I am on my way out! Sad
Marshmallows are yum and I wished I was home eating them rather than trying to get past a barricade of orange plastic because I went in the wrong way Surprised
However a lucky, quick find of a cache that blended in as smoothly as marshmellow Wink

TNLN. SL. TFTC chillibutts Smile

27-Apr-13
Easy find, slighly exposed, we have pushed in further to give it better cover. Just noticed that our original log was not recorded, so doing it now. SL TFTC.

24-Apr-13
TFTC. It was a bit soggy inside so I dumped the excess water out.

23-Apr-13
Found while doing a few caches in the area

Spidermonkey9s 300th cache!! 300 300 .... 6th of 6 today, with the whole family joining in to get to our 300th cache today. Nice walk around the Clipsal 500 track, finishing off at a playground. Of course no caching outing is complete without a stop for coffee, plenty of choices on Hutt Street. Lots of bikes and tennis players eyes to avoid. This was a great one to celebrate with, and the little spidermonkey had a fun time afterwards.... Thanks for our memorable moment! TNLN Thanks for the adventure.

Mother and I were feeling a little slumped at home, but we all know what the cure for being bored is!? GEOCACHING! We thought we'd go and grab some of the city caches near South Terrace because we'd never been there before. Sooo glad we went! It takes you away from the hustle of the city and you can begin to really enjoy the beauty of Adelaide!

This was cache 5 out of 9 for the day, with 1 DNF that we'll grab another day.

I think the bigger challenge here is to find the pink peg, not the cache! Pretty easy find, but I don't know what to think of the camo, clever for sure! I hope this one doesn't fall a victim of the muggle reign! Nevertheless, we finished this cache off with a very overpriced ice cream from a questionable man that was overly vanilla-y, good thing? bad thing? heart attack? maybe! Very Happy TFTC chillibutts!

23-Feb-13
Took TB. Found with greedy parrot. TFTC but could not find pink peg.

20-Feb-13
Quick drop off on way to work. Not many caches big enough for a tb in the city

10-Feb-13
Last cache for the night run int he city that went into the early morrning. Nice hide. TFTC.

10-Feb-13
Found on a night caching trip with LionJRB in the Adelaide CBD. I am from Ballarat and I have very much enjoyed finding caches in a city I have never been to before. TFTC Chillybutts.

14-Jan-13
No nearby pink peg but quickly made the find with awesome camo on top! Nearby muggles did not seem bothered with me lurking around in the bushes near a playground crawling with kids! The find was quickly made, signed, and replaced. TFTC!

05-Jan-13
Couldn't find the item mentioned in the hint, but found the cache anyway! Nice little cammo. Thanks again CB.

03-Jan-13
We found this cache lying out in the open next to the footpath. While the container was open, the logbook was still there, albeit a lbit damp. We couldn't find the reference point, so we tucked it away as close to GZ as we could.

Gr8 little park for the geo kids. Lovely part of Adelaide. TFTC from Melbourne girl

30-Nov-12
Nice little quiet playground. TFTC! Found but not signed as the log was very damp

22-Nov-12
Had two attempts at this one today .... one unsuccessful on the way to another cache ... and then the successful one on the way back from finding two other caches.

Found the location mentioned in the hint, and then quickly found the cache (with clever camo!) afterwards.

Added Seek3rs sticker and date to the log.

Nearby playground was being well utilised on this pleasant sunny afternoon.

TFTC chillibutts.

20-Nov-12
Out for an early morning walk today so no one in the nearby playground to put me off searching round here. Liked the hint and the hide although the log - as noted - is quite wet and a bit slimy, so I signed and put in a dry piece of paper. TFTC, Biggles.

17-Nov-12
The promise of marshmallows brought me here. First Adelaide cache!

17-Nov-12
Great camo, log slightly soggy. TFTC

10-Nov-12
A quick find. The logbook is quite damp. Kids loved racing around the play ground. TFTC.

24-Oct-12
This one had been on the list for a long time, we failed the first time but tonight we came out winners Very Happy

How did we miss that!! last time

Thanks for the cache Chillibutts

I think it needs a new log book... very damp

24-Oct-12
We first attempted this cache when we were newbies to geocaching and made no find Sad today however we are wiser and found the cache but no pink peg lol TFTC

20-Oct-12
Four of six today on a ride around this part of the parklands. tftc

07-Oct-12
Sammy did the retrieval Smile tftc

30-Sep-12
Staying in Adelaide for the weekend. Robmc and I had our bicycles with us so decided to do a park crawl around the four sides of the city and find some caches along the way. Thanks to the hint we didn't need to spend too long looking here. As we were sorting through the cache one muggle and child arrived at the nearby playground. Replaced carefully and admired the nearby bridge and we were on our way again. TFTC

30-Sep-12
Spent today caching with Bettyboo3747, riding around the Adelaide parks
Got quite excited about this one until I found that the name of the park was Marshmallow!
An interesting hide, but the area looks a bit like a bomb has hit it.
Thanks, Robmc.

20-Sep-12
After two DNFs earlier in the day, finally a find!

Not too many mini-muggles out and about today so it made for a quick find. Simple and effective camo!

29-Aug-12
Easy find on a nice walk in the park with Brown Booby. TFTC.

29-Aug-12
Found while caching with The Easter Bunnys. A day out seeking chillibutts caches. A nice walk in the park. Clever cammo, very creative! A good playground nearby for the kids. TFTC

26-Aug-12
Managed to sneak this cache in on our cycle ride today. Mr Greenshoots had said no more caches at a previous cache, but had to go back to move the car as all the parks we were visiting were eating up all the time, in our circumnavigation of the city. So I sneaked in this cache while the kids had a play here and no one was any the wiser except me Smile Dropped in a TB that needs to visit wineries, sorry, but it has been rubbish weather in the hills for caching lately and I thought I should drop it off somewhere soon...

18-Aug-12
We had a wedding to be at later in the day, but still a few hours up our sleeve before we had to start getting ready. What else would we do but cache? We haven't cached much in the city so we threw the bikes into the ute and off we went!

We had enough time for most of the traditionals in the south-east quarter of the CBD and a few in the parklands. It was a nice day apart from a little bit of drizzle at one point. We only had a couple of DNF's and came across a few creative caches along the way.

This was our second attempt at this cache. The first was quite a while ago, back when we were new cachers. Armed with a slightly better GPSr and a bit more patience, we found it quite quickly today. TFTC

10-Aug-12
Nice work Chillibutts ... #1 cache for the day after a morning of Jnr Footy

03-Aug-12
I mis-heard TM reading the clue, I thought he said "one metre" and started looking for a really long cache. By the time I turned around again he was signing the log.
No marshmallows were consumed during the search for this cache. Wish I'd brought some, 'cause I didn't have any lunch.

03-Aug-12
No fun being had today other than two cachers (4W and T_M) making finds in the area. I also fully support that marshmallows are YUM and somewhat addictive if being roasted over a campfire. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm marshmallows. TFTC Chillis.

28-Jul-12
Finally Found It!
After many visits looking all though the garden bed and getting nowhere I consulted the owner for a hint...
"Did you read the hint" he said
"I can't, it's PM only" I replayed
So after been told the hint it all became clear and the cache was soon found.
I don't really understand why it is PM only - I'm sure I would have spent less time squashing the garden had I been able to read the description/hint...
TFTC anyway

21-Jul-12
A quiet spot in the late morning, no muggles having fun and only an old muggle on the tennis court doing some kind of rhythmic exercise - luckily he was facing the other way and I could sneak in and find the cutely camo'ed container. Thanks chillibutts!

16-Jul-12
Loved the fake plant matter on top. There was about a cm of water in the container, which I emptied and then dried contents as best I could. The log book is only slightly damp and should be ok.

20-Jun-12
A quick find, logged and replaced just before the muggle tennis players arrived!

10-Jun-12
Found on an entire afternoon of caching (never cached for more than 2 hours before). Last cache planned for the evening, found after dark. Was about to give up on this one when the elusive pink peg (which looked grey under LED light at night, was spotted and soon the cache was signed! TFTC chillibutts!

Another cache... another playground. Last for the day and Miss 5 had a great run around and a play until dark.

I used to play tennis here with Deaf Tennis Club SA in 1970s
Great park here.
Time for fun!
Thanks chillibutts for bring me here and cache

22-May-12
A lovely park and bbq area that I didn't know existed. Thank goodness for the pink spike for a find with no muggles around as rain was brewing. Left a smiley badge. Thanx.

Log book is a bit damp

A quick and clever fund.
Log book a bit damp

09-May-12
Had to watch the muggles dressed up as tennis players for this one. Love the "disguise". TFTC

05-May-12
Found by Mary & David at 1205. This was the third cache we did without having to move the car. The cache was a bit closer to the playground than we preferred, but the trees afforded some cover. Spotted it fairly quickly. Our thanks to chillibutts.

26-Apr-12
This was my first stop for my midnight madness and I was a fun adventure and a great find. Awesome container, unfortunately it had an inch of water in it and the papers inside the ziplock were a little damp. Was still able to sighed and drained the worst of the water off. Might need a day emptied out in the sun and some maintenance... a very awesome caching experience anyway. THANKKKYOOU!

23-Apr-12
Quick find today once the GPS had overcome the cloud cover issues. TFTC

18-Mar-12
muggles at nearby BBQ took absolutely no notice of us as we found, logged and returned cache..thanks again chillibutts

18-Mar-12
Another spot that was infested with muggles, had to make a quick find and log again

17-Mar-12
Had a laugh at the camouflage.

"Sneaky Squeaky" Woz ere

I'm thinking to myself that I'm never going to get to see the chilli cartel in action. I only have a few more stashes in me to seek. I'm all work out and so is my companion. I have enjoyed this series and hope to move on with some info where your going to strike next. But I have one more to do. What the score now chilli lol.

Quick find. Laughed when I saw the camo. TNLNSL TFTC

29-Feb-12
On way home from a late finish at leap year event dinner. Probably not the best place to be at 11pm, with 'unusual' people hanging in their cars near the local ablutions! Watching my back as I went, found the cache with good coords fairly quickly. Nice camo!
Just as returning cache, heard footsteps on the path.... So hightailed it back to the car, passing 2 guys as I went...... ewwww
Thanks, I'm sure this is a beaut place in the daylight...

18-Feb-12
Apologies for the late log, CB. I've known I've been behind in logging for some time, but found these old ones in my geosphere app on my old iphone. I figured I'd better log it! I was here with Moneydork and Skippy - we found the cache after a group effort on another cache. Thanks, chilli!

18-Feb-12
A quick find following a group effort on another nearby cache. TFTC

15-Jan-12
Followed directions and they worked a treat. Thanks for the cache.

13-Jan-12
My boys went off hunting for this one following a climb on the big tree in the park. They thought the disguise on the cache was very clever.
Thank you chillibutts.

06-Jan-12
This is a popular place. It took me 3 goes to get this one because of muggels.
An easy find because the camo has not changed colour with the surrounding grass.

I left bear and calling card.

TFTC.

I found a cache. I did not find any marshmallows. Disappointing.

27-Dec-11
The third cache on our triangular walk for the evening.

With the batteries fading we were quickly making our way to GZ, and thankfully they lasted, and then lasted for the next cache as well!

Nice simple find in a bit of the park lands I hadn't visited before.

15-Dec-11
Hmmm I found this last month, but must not have logged it.. wonder how many times I have done that... Well I'm sure I had a story about the find.. TFTC

11-Dec-11
A native garden bed next to a playground is a good spot for it. Although it took me some time to prise the 6 yr old away from the sand pit and all his new best friends. Eventually found it wet but well hidden. We probably wouldn't have needed the extra pink little clue in the ground nearby but found it useful nonetheless. TFTC Chillibuts.

06-Dec-11
Out for a few hours to grab some CBD caches after dark.

Nice easy find, almost ended up wearing a spider that was between the trees.

TFTC

26-Nov-11
Just placed a "pink peg" and updated the hint to make this easier to find.

18-Nov-11
Area looking pretty thrashed. I didn't want to add to the damage.

12-Nov-11
Must be a sprinkler nearby or the container is less water resistant than it looks as it was full of water and we haven't had much rain lately. We put the logbook in a spare ziplock bag and swapped a sticker for a turtle. TFTC

12-Nov-11
Good hide but cache was full of water. We placed log book in zip lock bag but every thing else will take another bath. Tftc

10-Nov-11
Reperio at 1100.

Wandered over from 'Time For Fun Superman to the sun', and thought this one may take a bit of searching given it's surroundings. Had a potter around the edge before something very distinct caught my eye...and sure it enough it was the cache. Looks a bit out of sorts here in the dry weather Smile

Gratias chillbutts.

19-Oct-11
Light was disappearing fast when i got to this one so had trouble finding at first, then suddenly some thing that didn't quite look the same as the others. Cammo was interesting. Some dampness inside. TFTC.

28-Sep-11
Another one that we couldn't find this time last year. Easy enough this time, walked up and spotted it tucked away within seconds.
TNLN SL Thanks chillibutts for the cache

11-Sep-11
Second try at this one - found it this time after the kids had gone.

17-Aug-11
After about half an hour of wandering around that garden and many strange looks from a nearby parent and council workers I gave up. Without a description or a hint I am lost...

15-Aug-11
Smile Nice one! Came back for a second look today and was lucky straight away. Rain held off although the cache was saturated! Tried to dry off as much as I could but hard in the rain! TNLN SL. Thanks chillibutts

09-Jul-11
Stumbled on this more or less by accident as we were walking back to the city from the showground and took a detour. A colleague of mine(muggle)actually made the find and is hooked now as well. Good camo!

18-Jun-11
Wet log… found while helping run an amazing race for youth group tftc

18-May-11
easy find, although council gardeners, parents and kids provided reasonable muggle factor. Should have taken the kids and tennis gear. Log a bit damp and I had nothing with me to help sorry. TFTC.

16-May-11
Finally found this sucker, walked right up to it this time, stood out like a sore thumb! (As does all the trampled grass) Easy find but the entire container was soaked, tipped it all out, let it dry somewhat in the sun, the stash note could do with a bit of love but otherwise, all dry, needs a plastic bag I think.

08-May-11
The whole family spent a lovely afternoon for Mother's day at Marshmallow park and when the kids needed some extra exercise we set about finding a couple of the nearby caches. Naturally this was the first we found. Maybe the cache should be renamed 'the Big Pineapple'?

30-Apr-11
I liked the cammo on this one- and good to see some decent sized containers so close to town! Found on foot on my way home from work, TFTC
