Quick round of the park for a few more caches on our last night in town. Found with Outnabout. TFTC
Found it, used stealth to avoid the Muggles.
TFTC nice easy find while visiting Adelaide

Didn't bring a pen so couldn't find. Niece walked up and found it straight away. Log wet.
Nice little cache. Paper was wet so will try and replace it tomorrow as I'm while staying across the road
After the meeting we went to Fast Pasta for our dinner.
Ask Laker63 to come with me
Quickly found it
Thanks chillibutts

Had seen this type of hide before, so that was no problem. Retrieving it and putting it back was a different story.
The playground is rather fun. Dad and I had a go on the wobble disk. Dad won both times. There were two girls playing on the spinny thingy, so we could not get a go on that today. TFTC

In town to meet some caching buddies. Quick find whilst waiting. Good cammo. Thanks chillibutts.
The cache was as expected and well hidden in plain sight. Log book is dry. TNLN SL Thanks for the hide!!
Today we decided to focus on the parklands to the south and south-east of the city. Accurate coordinates and having seen a number of similar hides led to a quick find. Unfortunately the logbook was a sodden mess - no chance to sign. Instead we dried the plastic bad, put in a small piece of paper as a temporary log and included the very wet log inside the cache container. Urgent maintence is required. TFTC chillibutts.
The log is a sodden mess and need to be replaced as soon as possible. A small temporary log has been left in place.
This log is beyond repair. It is saturated. I almost scratched my name in it!!!
Oh Bingo, have seen one like this before.
Thought the Elf, who was playing sport nearby would love the Flying Fox, climbing equip etc....but another day........too tired now!

When we arrived at the location, we made some assumptions (based on the playground upgrade). It seems we were wrong. We will have to return and have a better look.
Awesome camo, haven't seen this before, TFTC! Didn't sign log though as it was saturated in the bag.
Tricky!!! Was initially deterred by new fencing and horse poo.... Then widened search using the clue and noticed something sticking out of where it shouldnt have been. Probably wouldnt have found if this wasnt the case I might add. Been tricked like this before (actually our first find - which we needed help with!) Lots of people coming and going on a sunny Autumn afternoon, required a lot of stealth. Thanks for the adventure!!
Our 3rd day of caching in Adelaide, today we teamed up with Earthlight & with her local knowledge of the area made this a very interesting & successful day of caching.
This was one of the caches we found during the day.
Thanks chillibutts

#2034 10:53:00 Walking the City today here in Adelaide, was no real fun. Only 4 out of 12 I could find. This cache was a quick and nice find, but only because I had one of those already. Excellent hide.
Thanks for the hide and greetings from Bavaria [green]Sospetto & Sospetta[/green]

Found this one tonight while searching for some caches. Had been here before on the day and didn't find it. Now got it - amazing cache! Left a really tiny wulf!
I've seen one of these before but this one really looks like it is supposed to belong there. Thanks Chilli for a nice one.
Mother and I were feeling a little slumped at home, but we all know what the cure for being bored is!? GEOCACHING! We thought we'd go and grab some of the city caches near South Terrace because we'd never been there before. Sooo glad we went! It takes you away from the hustle of the city and you can begin to really enjoy the beauty of Adelaide!
This was cache 3 out of 9 for the day, with 1 DNF that we'll grab another day.
I'd never noticed this playground before, or the basketball courts (which I'll certainly bring D to), or the posh looking school, because I'd never had a reason to come here. That is definitely why we love caching! Approaching gz, I couldn't resist the urge to under the playground, but to my childhood dismay, it was on the outter. Nevertheless, absolutely fantastic camo, I saw it first and commissioned mother to find it and after about 5 minutes of staring, she said, *spanish/filipino accent* 'Maria, I don't know, it's not here, oh hang on, what, haha that's sneaky!' TFTC chillibutts!

Had looked for this one many months ago but suddenly realised what the hide was on the way home. Quick "discussion" along the line of "but didn't you look there?" "I thought you did" et cetera. So in the area today for a quick find. TFTC
On a night trip in the city found this one very quickly but it is a grate hide. TFTC.
Found on a night caching trip with LionJRB in the Adelaide CBD. I am from Ballarat and I have very much enjoyed finding caches in a city I have never been to before. TFTC Chillybutts.
Quick find while geokids were orienteering. Love the hide. So tricky yet so obvious!! Clever. TFTC
Arrived to find the park full of school kids. I was going to just keep walking when a whistle blew and they all disappeared I like these cache, blend in so well.
It's been a long spell since my last cache but on a work trip to Adelaide I thought it's time! So I pulled out the phone, cranked up the Geocaching app and was standing about 20m from the cache. A great come back cache.

He he - I like these hides now! - now that I can spot them a mile away Thanks chillibutts!
This was the first cache I ever found but never got the chance to log it until know. I found it in about april but forgot to log it. I drive past it every day and i love it and the brilliant camouflage.
Thanx for the cache

Although it was getting dark already I thought it would be the best time, without too much children about, to go look for this one. It's my first of this type, very nicely done. A favourite point from me because of the audacity and of the way it blends in.
TFTC.

Having done a cache of this type of container before, I knew it was the cache as soon as I spotted it. Log is soggy, but we managed to get our names on the paper. Found with the Traut half of Traut+wombat and Ridethegeowalrus. TFTC

The first time I encountered one of these containers I think it took me about 3 or 4 visits to find it. Today it still took me a bit longer than it should have done given that I've found a few of these over time. My first cache find in SA on my first day in Adelaide. Nice one! TFTC, Biggles.
Visited 3 times in 3 days and after completing another cache yesterday finally found it. Until yesterday had never seen this type of cache before!!!
Definitely took longer than it should have. Geowife spotted it and made the quick grab. TFTC.
ST37E and I were on a caching Holiday, which started from Ballarat and went to Mt Gambier, Adelaide, Loxton and Mildura.
Day No. 2 of South Australia caching, from Mt Gambier to Adelaide!
Found after waiting patiently for muggle clearance and the cache was soon in hand.

Found with S 4 Sammy on day number two of a week on holiday in South Australia full of geocaching, grabbed this one after visiting earlier in the night after checking in to our very nearby hotel, after seeing the traffic on the street we decided to walk across the road a little bit later, with very little traffic around the container was grabbed and signed quickly

Great day on the bike track nearby - never seen a cache like this - a ripper! Tftc
# 1804. Staying in Adelaide for the weekend. Robmc and I had our bicycles with us so decided to do a park crawl around the four sides of the city and find some caches along the way. Having been riding through the parks it was a bit of a shock to find this one placed on busy South Terrace. There were muggle families getting ready for a picnic within the playground but they were preoccupied so Robmc was able to retrieve the cache - luckily he has a long reach. We signed and replaced a little lower down. I love these hides. TFTC
GeoKid snagged this one with his Aunt & Cousin along for the ride after a family birthday lunch at Fasta Pasta. GeoMum got caught out without a pen & it was starting to rain so we didn't sign the log. BYO pen peeps! Haven't done a chillibutts cache for a while, they're our favourite! TFTC
Spent today caching with Bettyboo3747, riding around the Adelaide parks
Another playground! Damn, forgot to kidnap a few mini-muggles for the day!
A busy park, but were far enough away, and had seen this hide before.
Thanks, Robmc.

On our last day in the lovely city of Adelaide we decided to scout out a few urban caches early this morning. This one was right opposite our hotel, so we decided to leave it for the last day of our visit. A sneaky hide but soon spotted as we have a cache similar in Perth, SL TFTC chillibutts
Greetings from Tasmania
Found this cache while on a caching trip to Adelaide. Found some great caches while there including a 5 difficulty traditional (I'm a Bastard 2), a 4 terrain traditional (Tapleys Bird) and many great hides in great locations through out Adelaide. Thank you Adelaide cachers for planting so many good caches. My wife did ask me to pick a favourite, and I think Besser Block Mail Box would have to be it, by Tamam Shud, Zen and the Art of Geocache Maintenance and the two above would be up there as well.
I did manage to find 250+ caches in the 5 days I had caching in Adelaide, and would like to thank Astro and Freddo for taking me on a night cache on the first day and Astro for giving me a couple of hints on some that I was stuck with.
Let me apologies for the generic log, especially if I have found more than one of your caches.

Found during a chilli hunt with Brown Booby. Took a while, but then was staring me right in the face !
Found while caching with The Easter Bunnys. A day out seeking chillibutts caches between the showers of rain. Very inventive, if we had not seen this kind before no doubt it would have been missed. Watch out for traffic. TFTC
