A summertime trip to the South Island, what could be better. Having flown to Christchurch and then driven to Timaru yesterday, today I was out with one of my favourite Geocaching teams in the morning, and then running around by myself this afternoon. My travels tomorrow have me back up to Christchurch for a night to see a band play, and then up to Kaikoura for a couple of nights to see the same band play again. Along the way I'll be looking for Geocaches, and here's one I found. All good here, the cache was found safe and well. --- Thanks to Bitsprayer for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. [DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge
Such interesting history told on the board - what a life. Cache hiding place is now quite overgrown but it was easily moved aside and the cache spotted. TFTC
Theres a bit of local history that probably more geocachers read than anyone else. TFTC # 19,668
Thanks for the caches Bitsprayer. Cruising around the area today with Hal2929 picking up new and not so new caches. Visiting places previously unheard of.
Quick find here.

Another interesting spot.I planned a ski trip with hubby and friends. Then I had a couple of biopsies dine on my arm. So no skiing for me so I decided to cache instead. Thank you Bitsprayer for this cache.

I am back in Waimate with my snail shell and it is time to sign off the rest of the caches that were published at the end of last year. It was nice to travel over all sorts of roads and by owning a Holden I was able to go through all those Fords.
Cheers for the cache.

Beautiful abandoned house behind this cache, again loading my brain up with history. Nice to have a clean new logbook double wrapped! Thanks for the cache!
#18247. Interesting bit of history. Log too wet to sign so took a photo. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day one of a 4 day trip down south to Oamaru, a consolation holiday for us, as in a COVID-19 free world, we would currently be in Seattle .
Another piece of history that caching has shown us today. Couldn't sign the log book as it was too wet, took a photo instead. TFTC.

An interesting stop off point. Thanks for placing a cache here. It needs some maintenance though.

Would never have come here, or indeed noticed this place to stop had it not been for your cache. Thanks. Very interesting
The Scott family certainly have their feet firmly planted in this area. Almost overshot the garden as I drove down this back road. Winning a draw in the land ballot certainly helped this family.
Yahayyyyy found it with the help of my new gps thingy, maps dont do it any more for me
sorry could not find it, I spent 20 mins looking for it will try again sometime as I cycle past quite regular.
We enjoyed the day caching in this area

TFTC. A nice way to remember locals from the community. flobb's was so busy looking for something else that she wacked her head on the corner of the information board!
flobberworm! and purdidepurdie out for a few days caching play.

"Odd place for a cache in the middle of a bland stretch of road?" Then I saw the wee garden. A nice touch. I would have driven straight past without noticing this. TFTC SL dropped tb.
Loved the farmer who asked us two questions: 1. "Are ya lost?" and 2. "Oh, it must be that geo-thing is it?" Hopefully our sheepish grins didn't give too much away...
Another interesting countryside spot and proof of the effectiveness of glyphosates. TFTC.
