Nope not there. As mentioned numerous times before (wish I'd read the logs before I got there) fire-bug muggles have ruined our fun.
hi found the place which clearly recently has been hit by a fire bug surround cabbage trees and bushes chard would think this cache has gone up in smoke sorry
tree that was burnt not the one as no rock on it found two thers with rocks but no container. I must admit my search was rather quick as i was rushing to meet my ride at the entry after my long walk today. Have to save my 400th for on way home tomorrow.
Searched and really certain we were in the right area as the clue was very good, but not able to find. With Moustachecashstach, slydog.007 and jackio987. Maybe muggled?
This morning's heavy frost had me pussy footing down the hill to the cache. Found in the 4th place I looked. T4TC
Having a great walk and finding a few geocaches, I can't imagine a better day. Thanks from this Canadian!
Was more difficult to find, but once we found it we realised how easy it could've been if we were looking in the right area.
Found on our last day in NZ. Kids were not interested in Caching today but grabbed a couple in this lovely park any way.
Cheers

Well we approached the other way, had to cross the stream as there was a mountain bike race on. Tftc
Found the cache after the hint but the hardest part was trying to get to GZ. We crossed the creek as no bridges in sight.
Last one for the day - getting dark anyway and time for some food!
Nice area and good quick find.

Another find on the way to the NZ Mega Event at Dunedin. Just a bit of a walk along a path before we could search for the cache. Quick find. Many thanks for the cache. TNLNSL

Geotooter and I had travelled to NZ from across the ditch to attend the NZ Mega Event down in Dunedin. After staying the night in Timaru we ventured out to find a few local caches. A nice stroll to this cache's location and we soon found the likely hiding spot. With the logbook signed, it was time to leave Timaru and journey further south toward Dunedin. Thanks Bitsprayer for the opportunity to visit this lovely park.

The other side was pretty pleasant. A short quick walk back up the hill to test the lungs after the easy find. Thanks.

New afamiliar familiar area. A quick find on a beautiful day.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic

A nice stroll around from the nearest carpark led me to the cache after I had tried a few different hint objects.

biked here on a beautiful sunny saturday morning with my better half, she found it first, not that its a competion of course. tftc.
Schnitzel crew found the cache qiete a while ago - finally logged it online
Hubby grew up across the stream and played here as a child. Found the place easily but then had to act like tourists while a kid was sitting there sketching. He finally left and we got the prize.
Nicely hidden from muggles...two foreign tourists must have wondered where the heck I sprung from after they passed within metres of me signing the log. TFTC
This was the first of our series in Centennial Park to find, we were to have trouble with GPS jumping all over the place for next 2hrs. Actually realised after a while that this was going to be a bit of a walk to get to, so drove closer to later in afternoon, then easy find.

After completing a walk up an enormous amount of stairs it was back into the vehicle and a quick cooling trip to the other side.
Walked for a while and came into a nice shady cool area with a cache!
Thankserninz

Got to GZ to find some people lurking with intent, and with a cache in their hands. Turned out to be 1066. Nice to meet some local cachers and have a chat. TFTC
Easy find. Just signing the log when I heard footsteps, then saw the shine from a GPS in Boxhill's hand. Caught with the cache in our hand. Our last for this evening as it was just on dark.
we had no trouble find the way in, reading the info, impressed with all the atractions. Luckily , we got taken to most later by other caches, incl. one of yours.
Took the shorter route as it was getting late and we had to get back to Shaky City. TFTC
Awesome one to find went to wrong tree first up but found it in the end TFTC
I took a longer route to this one because I really needed the exercise and fresh air. TFTC #2017
A nice easy one after a few puzzles. A few kids playing on the nearby grass with their water pistols made a discrete search a bit more of a challenge. TNLN Thanks
Decided id finally come get this one after being in the scenic a bit lately. Nice evening to cross to "The Other Side"
Which 'other side'? Sigh. Approached from the other side of the creek and had an extra km or so walk to find a bridge and come back! Ah well, good for me!
Spent five minutes closely investigating the fronds of the wrong tree before turning around and going "D'oh!!" Once d'ohed, quickly found.

Another awesome afternoon in Timaru.
Perfect weather, and a perfect day.
an easy find, and especially with the first day with our new cache-hounds.
Lizzie went straight to the correct "Cabbage".
Cheers.

Wasn't the best of days to be out here today, but it sure kept the muggles away! Cheers Gav [6825]
*FTF* Luckily the GPS took me straight to this entrance to the park. A great city asset for cachers and others. TFTC
