On the way from Canberra to Eugowra, via Wyangala, for the NSW orienteering champs. A small detour to grab this one. Initially I was searching in the wrong place, but easily found when I focused on a logical spot. TFTC.

I missed this one on my last visit, so today I called in to grab it. Yes, nice views. Love the rocky hills around here.

OCW *Mr ToC*, *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet* for a quick weekend caching and cache maintenance, and WOW, what a weekend it was - Absolutely AMAZING !!! We had a fantasic time. A bit sunburnt [:o)] on the drivers side arm, tired, exercised and very happy from a journying through some amazing countryside. We found a bunny among bricks beside a cache , sheep running loose outside fencelines, fortunely No snakes . A hot day but a nice breeze is blowing.

Todays solo geo mission was boorawa, hovells creek, reids flat and up to whyangalla dam. A handful of caches, a few dnfs, plenty of roadkill and a near run in with a monster goanna. What a great day and enjoyed such scenic drives around too.
Quick find after a passing work muggle asked if things were ok.

Sixth find of the day on our unloved cache tour. Beautiful day out with minniek! The views here are just amazing!
Headed out with nibletricecakes for a day of collecting unloved caches.
Had to detour passed the last cache as there was a muggle at gz so headed out to here. Such gorgeous views.

Found this one at 15:20 with mnjontour, cache #14 and what a view! Mr Stormcatcher ran off to play on the granite while the rest of the team did the hard work to find the cache. Would love to see one of those Boulders roll down the hill, tried to push one but it wouldn't budge . Thanks for an excellent cache wbfoto
Well the ramp wasn't much but the view certainly was and both us and the Stormcatchers lingered a while taking some photos and just enjoying the spot. Don't know how some of those rocks just don't going rolling off downhill, amazing. Another find on our caching day to Wyangala Dam.
We were here a long time ago and looked everywhere but where the cache actually is. We have better instincts now and we both spotted the likely hiding spot. TFTC
Spotted a likely hiding place from the car but my mountain goat skills are a bit lacking so sent Alwyn. Can't think how we missed it years ago, but never mind. It is found now. TFTC
After being couped up at home for over a week due to an ugly illness, cabin fever was setting in and I needed out for the day.
I decided to hit the country roads and head north for a while before coming back south. I had a very enjoyable day out along the dirt roads exploring the country side. Lots of nice areas and caches to make things even better
And a lovely view at that
Thanks wbfoto for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today.

Found it on a sunny Easter Sunday while staying in Cowra. Geohubby loves dirt roads so this was a hit. This one was found in really the obvious place which by my phone was about 8 meters away from GZ. A favourite point from us. TFTC
Couldn't find it after two visits

Was Mufftop101's turn to go for the cache and like a mountain goat off she went up the hill leaping from rock to rock and pounced on the price
What a great drive from Reid's flat to the dam, dirt road was really good to drive on and not a lot of traffic, thanks again

It was my turn to climb, Spock1967 said so. Off I went, full bound. All was great until 2 sheep jumped out from a rock above me and scared the bejesus out of me. At least they weren't snakes I guess! Nice view and cache. Thanks
A short detour from my travels to Wyangala Dam got me to this delightful spot
I love granite country [:X]
It always produces dramatic landscapes [^]
A short scramble up the roadside embankment and I searched for the cache.
Oh look !!

A day of caching around and above the dam with the family and camping and caching friends.
Was expecting something different from BatGirls recent log, bit cache was found about 8 metres out. Added a coordinate to my log.
Found with DogBoyOz and the JmanJezzas
Thanks wbfoto361012

Out with the family and Noikmeister's family on a camping weekend at Wyangala Dam. Co-ords off a bit for us on this one. Easy find in the end.
This one took some hunting, coordinates were a bit off, but fortuntely Batgirl came up with the goods!
Awesome views from up here, totally unexpected. TFTC!

Coords were only out a little bit but neither of us found it in the first sweep so we kept looking further afield. We were about to call it quits and I was returning to the car when I stepped over something that looked rather obvious to the caching-wise. Sure enough it was there - how did we both miss that the first time?
Jumped out of the car and started to look for it, decided to use the GPS. We were at the rocks on the wrong side of the road. TFTC

1895.Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1300.This cache reminded us a bit of the Burra area of SA.SL visited CacheMover coin Tnx wbfoto
Pulled up on the wrong side of the ramp but it still only took a minute or two to locate the cache and sign the log.
The hills are quite green at the moment which made the view even better.

Ahh, that rock.. Waited for a few locals to finish thier conversation and just as predicted by Winglen Beta, moved on as we approached. Thanks for the cache, great views.
A couple of curves back down the hill I remarked that there were two locals parked at the ramp, having a chat. Being a girl from the bush, I predicted they would move off as we approached, to clear the road. And they did ! How did I know, I was asked - well, how many times did I have to wait as a child while my father yacked on with local farmers, and we used to long for a car to come along and encourage them to move on! Superb views up here - worth the detour thanks wbfoto.
Took a couple of minutes but the cache was soon in hand. Great views looking furhter afield. Thanks wbfoto

This took a little longer than expected, but the cache revealed itself in the end.
(Did someone mention coffee?)
Thanks.

Took a bit to find, but it was located in the end. With the rain starting to fall my thoughts turned to coffee.

This actually took us a bit to find, can't remember who finally did.
Not a bad view down over the lower ground at this time of night.
Cheers

Its amazing where you meet people, the Geowife and I had just parked the car near GZ when a car rolled across the ramp and pulled up. Turned out the driver was my best mates brother who I hadn't seen in nearly 10 years, he was on his way to a camping trip with his sons on a property a bit further along. After a bit of a chat Mick was on his way and we set about finding the cache. Many thanks wbfoto for the cache and the chance to catch up with an old friend in an unlikely place.
This one took a bit of time to locate, as co-ord's were out a bit plus one Smelly seemed to be having a bad caching day. She looked at GZ but didn't see it so moved on, and after another half an hour searching the other Smelly said 'what's this then'?, with cache in hand. It was worth stopping that long to enjoy the view though.
Pulled up just parst the ramp and sat and enjoyed a grand view. Geowife and youngest (funny watching him try and cross the ramp) headed straight for GZ. Great spot to stop and remember many years ago Wife and I came this way. Was glad to revisit this back road and the sights it holds.
JABs.

Out caching on an ACT public holiday with three other cachers. Continuing along down this back track, this find was a bit harder. As we spread out further and further from GZ Mr Roo found it. Thanks.

Found by me I just thought about the clue and spotted where the hide was quickly. TFTC
We all had the coords a little out on this one from where mr_roo turned up the cache. There was a nice view back down the valley from this one. TFTC
Quick find with Black Bunny and Candy Cane 101 on a day out caching. We've all been feeling a bit deprived lately, as life has been getting in the way of caching.
I saw some lovely little lichens here.

After a park out off the track just before the "Ramp" it was out with the 60csx in hand and it went to zero just a tad a way from the car and the cache was found the first spot Mrs R looked ! No worries ! quiet obvious spot really !! thanx we are enjoying reuniting with this track/road.
A great little spot, and plenty of wildlife to see on the way. I'm not sure exactly what they were ( little dark brown wallabies/kangaroos). Very cute though. Anyway, another FTF for me. TFTC.
Co-ords added to make future searches a little easier...perhaps.
