14-Mar-13
A fairly easy find once we knew where we were looking.

01-Mar-13
Found this after eating fish and chips in the park after being at the Warragul Show. Couldn't pick a nicer location. Our 5yo found it, but daddy retrieved it. Thx for bringing us here...but it did mean we had to listen to Zombiedog #3 recount his entire childhood growing up in Warragul...or rather Darnum with High School here (I've been corrected)

25-Feb-13
Was traveling through Jindivick then Buln Buln today with work before heading home through Warragul, this meant an opportunity to grab a few caches on the way.

Parked at the nearby car park and wandered down to GZ, a mugle was having a late lunch under the trees so approaching GZ was limited to a walk past. Checked the rest of this garden out and on returning to GZ muggle was moving on. After a quick look located the cache, a quick grab , log sign and replacement before heading back to the comfort of the car!

Thanks for the cache Bounty Trackers!

Little confused at first but after thinking about a toads eye view found it easily!

16-Jan-13
This one proved that it is assential not to have a "boy's look"! Bugbear missed it and it was thanks to SkiPair (who are much younger and more flexible!) that we eventually made the find at 1230hrs. TNLN Thanks again Bounty Trackers.

After a previous DNF we had to come back and try again. Christmas lunch was spent at Cracka1's parents who live near by. With full bellies we toddled down the hill. Found in less than 5 mins. The serenity of a Chinese Garden Smile

Cracka1 picked up the TB. Nice sized logbook

24-Nov-12
Was at the arts centre for my daughters dance school concert. So I dropped off Alpha Bug he's come all the way from the surf coast Smile

18-Nov-12
Found at 1315. I have been to this area many times over the years for family get togethers, plenty of space to run and a great hill to roll down but today it was off to see if I could collect a cache. Arrived at GZ looked around spotted the cache had to reposition to get it and the log was signed then off to enjoy the gardens and waterfalls. Thanks

21-Oct-12
Krazy K Krew where down Warragul way today, Kelsey had dance dress rehearsals at the Art Centre. Us boys aren't allowed to watch, never mind we're going caching Smile

First of all we had to go replace our owned cache not far in Darnam, so this we did. Came back to area after that was done for a cache search, this cache was a great start to the day, Nate was first to spot the playgrounds and off he was, one team member MIA. Blake and I headed to GZ, we found cache in a great hide bur soon spotted breath taking gardens above us. So we signed log, took Geocoin, left a Lucky Chinese Coin and replaced, by this time Nate was heading over to GZ so we went to explore the gardens. Smile wow what a great spot thanks for the cache but more so thanks for showing us these gardens Smile

It was no good relying on the GPS today - it was quite slow getting a fix on anything. Used a bit of logical thinking, and had the luck of nobody being around at 7.00am, for a reasonably quick find. TFTC.

Found @1710 #1740
On another Saturday cache run with caching buddy ahomburg with today's focus the region of Neerim. Haven't been to this part of eastern Victoria before but there are some stunning views at many of the locations visited today.

This one had us searching for quite some time before reading of some logs gave us some ideas and it was Ahomburg that finally spotted the clever hide. A satisfying find as it was almost time to give up on this one. TFTC Bounty Trackers.

Final cache found today with a total of 16 finds and 3 DNFs. I will be back to try the multis in Warragul

Find # 1925

Well, another weekend and another mega caching run with my caching partner in crime this time, sedgwickDave. This time we were headed for Noojee, then South ish towards Warragul.

A beautiful garden area. This was my second attempt at this one, I remember last time, I had searched for some time with no luck. Today I managed to spot the cheeky little bugger after a quick search.

Thanks to Bounty Trackers for the hide and for bringing me back here.

Found with esteemed Kmace on our odessy around Warrigul

a perfect park and garden with pools and waterfalls
reminds me of the profound chinese saying

Wise man follows slow ox to water
Fool on hill waits for Duck to fly in mouth

For thouse unable to score this cache I will point out the need for humility, getting on bended knee, and taking a toads eye view

TFTC. Got caught in the rain and spent ages waiting for the rain to stop under a huge tree with some fellow geocashes. Lovely family. Such a pretty spot.

03-Jan-12
Spent quiet a while looking for this one, GPS had us looking in a 10m radius. Didn't find it. Strolled to the fountains where we completed a Challenge. Cracka1 told me about his childhood in the park where he'd turned the fountains 'green', as well as ice-blocked and billy carted down the hills. Went back to GZ but still no luck. We'll try again another time.

Looked for 1 hour without success. Too tricky for us today or maybe it has gone missing?? Lovely gardens though - shame the waterfall was not running. Maybe this one needs checking.

16-Aug-11
Introducing a colleague to geocaching but couldn't turn this one up.

12-Aug-11
I had planned a Warragul cache run for the night and was joined by C@H for the trip. Our first stop was in Berwick before following a trail of caches I had on my list for the night which would have us ending up in Warragul. It was a bitterly cold night with the temperature hovering around the 2 and 3 degree mark so we really had the layering of clothes working tonight.
A nice quiet garden to walk through. Cache found and log signed. Thanks for the hide.

12-Aug-11
A very nice garden and a great place for a quick nature stop for the two boys. TFTC

Smile found with Hearse068. We had the school Choir singing for us while we looked for this cache. Had a couple of muggles as well. I am glad my GPS was working well today as Hearse068 had disappeared in the garden somewhere. When Hearse068 came back I said it was just here not far from where you left me where did you goWink There was some mention of being up the garden pathBig Grin. TNL1 TFTC

26-Jan-11
This one took a little while to locate. Eventually the right spot was found and the cache retrieved. We (Biggles Bear and I) had to wait for a couple of muggles to pass by before the cache could be rehidden.

I really enjoyed the area, and the running stream added to it all. Thanks for showing me this garden, and for the cache.

This one had been muggled the last tome I was here I think. Today the coords were very good and the cache found quickly. Despite the wet area it remains nice and dry inside. These are lovely gardens and IMOH only need a few more trees to really set it off.

Found in the company of RogWat and coley_babee at 17:19.
Lovely garden and a nice water feature.
I bet it got an extra dose with the recent rains.
RogWat decided he wanted to climb on the wall, and coley_babee wanted to take some pictures with her new fangled biffy present.
I explored.
Thanks again THE BOUNTY TRACKERS.

Found by Mary & David at 1705. A lovely little garden tucked away in the corner of the park. Thankfully, deserted at this time of day. Enjoyed the sights and sounds of the wat6er. Cooling off now, and nearly all the children had gone. GZ was all clear and a short search, guided by Mary's intuition, produced the nicely hidden container. Our thanks again to THE BOUNTY TRACKERS.

Nice gardens with a quick find tftc

07-Jan-11
1st find of the day, and 2635th total find at 11:48.

Some muggle (8yo) girls told us that yesterday someone had put detergent in the pool and there was no water left. They also said ther was a lot of glass inside.

Muggles aside, this was a great cache and an easy find.

Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks THE BOUNTY TRACKERS for the cache

We searched for a while, in this lovely spot, but just couldn't find it. Someone else had said it was easy but, not for us! Another time maybe....

A lot of muggles around, but found it! Lovely spot

28-Dec-10
This is our second visit to this great little park and there is a lot more water here this time. Unfortunately on our first visit we had a dnf and when reading the logs we found that it had been muggled. We returned today and this time the GPSr pointed us directly to gz for a nice easy find. Although the area around was very wet the cache contents were still nice and dry. Thanks for showing us these great gardens

3819. Parked on the main road and then wandered back to the corner to gain access. Looked all around where the GPS zeroed out and then a bit further away and the hide presented itself. Very calming area and a familiar name in the logbook before mine. FFP ended up taking a number of photos and we came back tomorrow to have lunch in this area - it's that nice.

TFTC and the fall.

26-Dec-10
The damp conditions didn't seem to be putting many people off as there were still plenty of muggles about - but fortunately not in this corner of the gardens. I knew I must be close to the cache when I spotted 20c on one of the nearby rocks - had this escaped from the cache? A very quick explore of the surrounding paths before making my way back to the car as the rest of the family were patiently waiting for me. TFTC.

13-11 1st DNF of the day at 15:24
Tried for quite a while for this one.
But after searching in the soaking rain we read one of the previous logs that mentions updated co-ords so we think we know what our problem is.
(''\(OoO)/'') No luck today but we will be back...

Just needed somewhere to drop travel bug as the remaining caches I had picked for the day were all micro's and I forgot to drop it earlier in the day and was to lazy to go back to it. Thanks

20-Sep-10
I found this cache last year and forgot to log it so the date may be incorrect. It was while the dance festival was on as my little image #2 was dancing there so I had a little time to kill. Little image #1 came with me as #2 and Mrs CI were getting ready.
We wandered up and down for a while with the GPSr showing different spots until I spied something that just didn't seem right. Sure it fitted in with it's surrounds but it just didn't look right.
So with a little investigation we found the cache, logged it and returned it to the clever little spot.
No swaps today
