No luck this time round - a decent search of GZ in the rain failed to produce the goods. Forced to abandon the attempt when the water accumulating in my boots finally flowed over the top. Will try again on another (drier) day.
To the two people who were searching for this one at around 11:30 this morning, BUSTED!
Saw you.
(yes, the green car that yelled "DIDYAFINDIT?" as they drove past was me. Heh..)
I've owned this cache for...nearly a year (wow!), and travel down this road pretty much every day...And it's the first time i've been able to spot someone finding this.

Lucky timing seeming cache was open and lying on the ground. Stashed it back in hiding for you. TNLN TFTC
Found on a days caching run with The Rats in the southern suburbs of Canberra.
It might have been your first cache but it was our first for the day too, with another 70 or more piled on top. It wasn't quite dawn yet and quite cold of course. The Rats went one way and I went another and we met just near the cache. Thanks!

This was one of a few caches that Steeba and I managed to grab on days caching around Canberra.
Being here before sunlight I spent too much time looking in the wrong spot before reading the description a little harder. The cache was soon in hand. Thanks

A nice quick find while getting a bit of "us-time" after spending the day among hundreds of kids. The container is quite visible, if you're in the correct spot. I managed to not get stabbed, so the retrieval and replcement went smoothly.
Thanks Bubbles Baby123.
Thanks Bubbles Baby123.
Driving past on a very wet Sunday evening, but decided to poke around in the bushes anyway. Got it finally, even if I did get slightly damp.

After heading back into Canberra after doing a few of the CCC's we decided to do a southside invasion . All We can say on this one is ouch lol and we wish the GPSr was a bit more accurate. Mr Stormcatcher walked right past the obvious hide to start with and we got some decent pricks from the nastie plants while searching but we found it basically in the open and logged our visit. TFTC.
We called in here on our way back from Namadgi, with the aim of clearing out a few local caches that we just haven't got around to before. An easy find, thanks Bubbles Baby.
Found w Flazon, the_proton & Kurtio11. Lots of army men toys. Muggle men playing football topless nearby.
Dropped off some more toys (Seriously, if you are going to take something, put something in there! sigh)
also dropped off a tb, but low and behold, i've forgotten the tracking number. :S

Out for a caching run with Just a Cacher and decided to drop in and grab some south side caches on the way home. A quick stroll to GZ to SL and move on to the next. Thanks Bubbles Baby for the cache.
Congratz on your first cache! Am quite familiar with the area. Grabbed a TB out of it. TFTC!
TB and Gnome drop off!
(Found cache in the open! Arrgh! Also noticed barely any swaps, i swear i'll fix that!)

Hi all!
We found this one without any difficulty, and in the dark! This was our first ever geocaching experience (how appropriate considering the name!) and we loved every minute of it! Still itching from the prickles too lol.
Thanks Bubbles, great fun!

A hot afternoon but an easy cache, maybe a bit too easy. I left it as I found it. Thanks.

'my first cache' was my first cache! Seems so funny to think that I've driven past it hundreds of times. Thanks!
Ha, I had this one in Hand really easy and we didn't even have a GPS.... we were on our way out and mum and dad couldn't drive by without getting this on,TFTC!!!
Went out shopping and ducked past this cache on the way. Didn't even bring the GPS. Just looked on the map where it was, and went over to it. The 5y/o geokid found it in less than a minute. Thanks for the cache.
on our way shopping we stopped for a quickky- cache that is... 5yr old T-rex 05 had it in hands within minutes, TFTC!!!!
3846. [font=Century Gothic][green]Wasn't ready to stop caching after cleaning up the remaining CCC caches so this was one of the closest so of course it was it (hardly surprising). Walked up and spotted it straight away. Not sure that's how it's meant to be hidden"" but returned it how found. Maybe thew spikes deter better rehiding?

Coords were spot on and cache was easy to find. Nice size! Took TB to move it on as we are on a small caching spree before Christmas. TFTC
it was a very easy find. The clue really helped. Lots of prickles around. Left TB, took nothing. TFTC.
As others have said, I have no idea how I missed this last time! Nice and quiet and nice and easy.
Thanks Bubbles Baby123

I walked past the school kids having cricket practice as unobtrusively as possible, and luckily they were distracted.
It took a little searching among the prickles, but there it was !
Thanks for the cache, Bubbles Baby123 !

Last for the day after walking 18kms I just wanted to get on a bus and go back home when I reached this one. Nice first cache. Found quickly and hope it lasts TFTC
This one got our feet wet in the rain. By the log, some other people thought the same thing as us!
It's a cool facility for testing echos. It was raining and I got wet feet from the grass.
Eventually, we found it.
All's good!

Rain was starting to get heavier now and the combination of standing in a spiky grevillia in the rain amongst rubbish made retire for another day. A bit of CITO would help, but I didn't have the time or patience for this at this hide.
Thought i'd check up on it on the way home today.
oh my god did those stupid thorns spike up even more? cheers to whomever left the stick. (yeah, i could of used that..lol.)
Took bear, as it was just taking up too much room. am considering pruining bush or something. it hurts!
also, in the off-chance anyone else lives nearby/for some odd reason is cutting through the highschool, to get to the cache, dont. there's a very grumpy magpie there. >:(

Sometimes you seen them, sometimes you don't.........which is what happened on my last visit. The BIG cache was a little more obvioulsy this time around, so a quick find was made.
Thanks for the cache.

Footy practice was on nearby the parking co-ords and I attracted some attention parking there, I moved on to the other side of the oval and walked in behind the hillock, no dramas making the find as it was a good spot out of sight of most overlooking areas.

After a day trip to Cooma, I tried this one on my return through....but alas no joy.

I really don't like prickle bushes, make me itch! But well done on starting to place some caches..
Reperio at 1320. Pulled up next to GZ, and with plenty of junior muggles across the road out side for lunch, I had to wait a little until they moved away. Once the coast was reasonably clear, the search was on, and while I expected to find a little sooner than I did, the simple cache blended in well with it's surroundings.

Was alerted of a new cache in my area, and advised to 'think quick', but I am heading back from Murranbateman at night! Oh, well.
I tried, without a torch. I thought I might leave it until tomorrow.
Beautiful day, so I took the dog for a walk. A lot easier during daylight hours, especially since the night before I had a fair idea of where it might have been.

Found OK to the cheers of a group of fellas nearby. (They were playing touch, and one scored a runaway try just as I found the cache). Thanks for the cache.
My first FTF!!!!
In truth, I feel a bit a fraud claiming a joint FTF with Tankengine - he was there before me and was also the one who spotted the cache. It was a bit of a mad dash - I'd only just finished gardening when I came inside and the email popped up; I'd already taken off my shoes, and was held up as I installed a new version of IE last night and hadn't reinstalled the Garmin plugin.
