I was in the area for another 'mission' when this popped up on the radar. After a read of the hint Red Face, I was signing the log at 13:25 following a major rain squall Surprised. I think someone might have mentioned that this needs some TLC as the logbook is so wet that it's like trying to sign a piece of soap Surprised. In the end, I didn't bother and added a separate piece of paper with my details on it!

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks lemmykc.

Parked in a different spot to suggested and ended up very close to GZ. There was a Junior football team training on the nearby oval. Initially searched in wrong spot but soon found cache, a bit damp but there, I think this one needs a waterproof bag inside.

Thanks to lemmykc for the cache.

This is another suburban park that we haven't visited before and fortunately didn't have any one else here either when we started looking except for a couple of magpies who watched with interest. The cache was found in the second place we looked, after completing the paper work we headed off to the other end of the park to look for the cache there
Thanks lemmykc for the cache

When I pulled up here they were about to start a concrete pour on the unit next door. I thought that the workers activities might mean I'd have to miss the cache, but this proved not to be the case.

Thanks for brining me here.

Yes there is a cache however for me it's just another +1 in the statistics. Not a good one because it's just a micro placed without effort.

Tradies building a pergiola on the other side of fence. No chance today.

Found at approx 01:14 in the company of RogWat.
Walking into the park with our headlamps on, I think we disturbed the birds in next doors aviary.
Which started making a racket. Opps.

Found by Bob at 1500

This is the sort of cache that can give caching a bad name - an eclipse mint tin stuck in a spot totally unsuited to a non-waterproof container, right near a fence over which neighbours can worry about the people grubbing about in the garden beds in a small park. Luckily, I found the thing fairly quickly and was on my way out of there.

TNLN

Thanks lemmykc - sorry for the late log, I'm a long way behind in my logging

PS Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, I liked most of your other caches in the area a lot better.

Wild Josh and I went on a bike ride tonight to find a few caches. Haven't been to this park before. Would be good to be in one of the houses around the perimetre. Lots of room to kick the footy and play. Thanks lemmykc

20-Oct-10
After finding another nearby cache I decided to walk across the park. I ended up on the other side of a construction site with the radio playing loud music. A quick look while ducking down so I wasn't seen didn't bring up a cache. Read all logs, decided "searching everywhere" was the way to go, picked up a small rock and spotted the cache from a certain angle only a metre or two away! Glad to have found this one!
11th find on 20-10-2010. First to sign the new log, thx for replacing! TFTC

Finally. After two DNFs this morning, I found one. The log is very wet though so I couldn't sign it. Can the owner put my name and date on after they dry it out please?

The recent rains have not been kind to this cache. Log needs a dry out and the bag needs replacing.

short 400m stroll in the "normal" way from my house. This cache is absolutely soaked and very hard to sign with a ball point pen.

10-Oct-10
Didn't really have time for caching today. Finally at about 6pm we had a small window of opportunity to join the 10.10.10 Challenge. Snips and Co jumped on the bikes and were there and finding the cache in a jiffy. The log is really wet, and the bag has holes in it, so they will need replacing.

If it weren't for the parking coords I would have taken the lazy option here and parked next to the cache, but as it was the great weather was quite inviting for a stroll through the park. The cache was found after a lengthy search.

Thanks,

19-Sep-10
Found @ 8.25am, #431.
Had to get the kids out of the house + 2 extras so we decided to have a look for this one, when we arrived we had to go and play in the playground and wait for the lap walking muggles to go, then we where over for a quick find.
Thanks to Lemmykc for this cache.

19-Sep-10
Wandered around for a bit waiting for an accurate reading. It became apparent we were being stalked by a magpie, seems it's not just muggles that sometimes wonder what on earth we are doing walking around in circles! He was very curious and casually crept closer. The Chief had to then wait to return the cache as a doggie walking muggle (waiting for their pooch to carry out a transaction) was directly across the road. TFTC

19-Sep-10
Parked about 35m away in the street at the back, and was at GZ in a few seconds. There was no-one around in the
park but there was a lot of activity at the building site over the fence, so I looked as quietly as possible.
Soon found it and logged it, without arousing any of the builders' suspicions.
Thanks Lemmy.

***FTF*** 6:50PM(ish)

After waiting about 5 days for our new cache 'Star of Kamesburgh' to be reviewed we weren't sure what had happened to theUMP, but today finally our listing had been published and so had 6 or 7 others around this area. So we decided we might go for this one since it was only 3.8km away from home. We got to the cache quickly but we were expecting another cacher, but there wasn't, hmmmmm....... So we tried to make the iPhone give us an accurate placing of the cache, it kept jumping around making it very hard for the FTF. A little latter we decided we would do the 'just search every where' tactic, it was successful, and there was no one else around. TFTC lemmykc.
