3rd DNF in a row for this cache, may need replacing/checking to see if its still around
MrsBee and GTA5 had been invited on a JAMS day out north. Have you met GTA5? he is very energetic! Of course we could not say no. We headed off in a roundabout way to find lots of caches. We searched high we searched low, some of us, not Mrs Bee got wet! Trees where climbed and many sneaky, cute creative hides found.
Today was another JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) day along with Mrs travellinbees and GTA5 with a few targeted caches out north and any others that we happened to be driving past. A fun day out in the sunshine driving on some great tracks on a perfect day for caching.A quick find here as we were driving past. Thanks for the cache brisal5.
Quick find.Today was a JAMS ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, Mitchell&hound plus Sir_spectre ) day out. Mitchell&hound is off on a 732 day holiday so she didn't join us. We picked up the travellinbees and GTA5 and they followed us in their own car. Today's targets were a 2001 cache and a cache on this date ( the 19th ) of a " not chosen " size 6 out of 31 days to go and also a high terrain cache using a 6.2 meter in a creek with water following in it and a few pirate project caches. I think we replaced 1/4 of the log sheets to day since there were wet or full plus replaced a few broken containers.
Quick find while out and about grabbing caches for IGD.

After attending a maker magic event in Gawler Mrs Peas headed out to Greenock with Jolly0 and sandelf to clean up some straggler caches in and around the area. A quick find here and plenty of golf balls lying around. Also met a couple of the locals when we stepped back out on to the road. TFTC brisal5
How do all these balls end up here?? Oh, there’s a golf course nearby.
Caching with some of the Goonies today it seemed a little odd having caching companions as the last 3 months I’ve been solo on the Apple Isle.
It’s been a great day with a number of new on my map.

Keep smiling

Caching today with Cheezel and WayneAPN. Quick find here. Soooooo many golf balls
The highlight of this cache was watching an echidna successfully cross the road a little to the east of here. He was heading into the vineyard - hope he likes grapes!
The cache was an easy find. Lots of stray balls in the area - I thought there must be a driving range here, although looking on the map now it doesn’t look like it.
Thanks again, Pop, Blake and the clan, and Brisal5 too.

Today I headed out for an afternoon of caching in the Barossa. It was a lovely afternoon and enjoyed seeing all the autumnal leaves on the vines very pretty.
Found a nice variety of caches and still so many to come back for.
Found 29 with one dnf so was pretty happy with my effort .
Nice quick find here once I looked from the right angle. TFTC Brisal5

I could hear golfers in the distance saying crazy things like FOUR or maybe it was FIVE. A bit to far to make out exactly what was said. Thanks pop and brisal5 for the cache.
Day 392 ( Thursday 24th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Greenock today. A total of 6 for the day and 6990 the trip. A grand total of 16,958 caches. TFTC
Went out geocaching with Jac-Jam again this morning to find a few more local caches before vistiing the loacal wineries tomorrow. The day wasn't a very nice day to be out for a couple of Banana Benders so we cut the days adventures short.
This was one of 10 we found for the morning. TFTC.

A quick find as we make our way around this neck of the woods, finding and gathering as many smiley faces for our map as possible on this gorgeous summer’s day.

Spent the weekend in the Barossa and near outlying region chasing Yellow Smiley Faces.
Sadly, we had one DNF but what a fantastic few days in a lovely area.
Many thanks to the CO for bringing us here.
TFTC TNLN except footprints.
Sorry, told a lie, actually took 10 or so little round things with dimples on them from the surrounding area.

While camping near Nuriootpa for a couple of days, we decided to do an assortment of caches around the area today with ilook4geo. Some were a bit more difficult to spot than others, but we ended up with a good haul of caches to add to our tally. Each log was initialed and all was put back as found before we moved on. This was one of the caches we found. Thank you to Pop and his Clan for putting this cache into play.
Staying near Nuriootpa and doing some caching around the district with goingplaces2. It was a fun day and we found a good number of caches. All logs were signed, then replaced. Job done! Time to get moving. TFTC.
WOO HOO!!! Found it!!
Another find on a busy afternoon looking for Skippy’s 50 with MyEagleEyes & MyLittleSpyEye!
Thought we’d stop for a couple nearby on our way home.

On the way home from Blanchetown this afternoon I decided to do some caching along the way, then catch up with Davidwazza and GeckoJ for one final cache before heading home. Here again to turn a DNF into a smiley, cache was all good this time TFTC
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Pop and His Clan for the cache.
Out for a quick maintenance run on a few of our caches. Old cache could not be located. New cache put in it's place.
Looked and spent a good 10 min searching, but no luck in finding this one between two people.
One of the locals wasn't too happy with my car. He thought I might have been stealing golf balls from the driving range? Really. Did a few laps before locating the well hidden cache. TFTC
Quick find considering that there was a lot of possible hiding places here.

Missed this one last time a case of cache blindness, however with a previous finder in the car we soon saw the error of our searching, nice hide

Staying at Kapunda for the weekend. Thought we would drive some country roads even though the weather is HOT. TFTC.
CP was driving past this one too, and asked the driver to stop so I could look for the cache.
It was quite humid & the cache should of been obvious and not difficult to find especially with a previous cache finder.
But we couldn't locate it, must be well camoed.
Thanks Pop and his Clan

A nice sized cache in a very cool container type that nearly always keeps logs dry in any weather was located and it's log signed after an assault on a nearby PT [^] SL at 10:28 on Tue 28/11/17. TFTC brisal5
Another road less travelled and a quiet, scenic spot. Quick find by CacheClosed1847 but a cleverly hidden cache. My 250th, so a nice spot to have for this milestone. TFTC #Two Five Oh.
Found with CachingTheJoint. Relatively quick find but an interesting and unique container none the less. Milestone for CachingTheJoint with this being his #250th cache. TFTC. #272
No luck for us today will watch and see, we may have been suffering from cache blindness till next visit TFTC
This one took longer than it should have to find...probably didn't help I spent most of the time on the phone talking to my daughter while trying to locate it...but I did so all good...TFTC brisal5
This find took a bit of looking due to the bark all over the place, nearly gave up but got there in the end.
It was such a beautiful sunny winters day that the Shattell family decided to head into the Barossa to do some geocaching.
I had to help the wife and daughter find this one as they were having a bit of trouble. I found pretty quickly in the second spot i looked.
Cheers for the cache and the memories.

Found at 10:36 AM GAFF1.
Not sure why it is "The Wild One" - but we braved the quite cold breeze to get out and find this cache - is that wild and brave enough?
Thanks brisal5.

A great hide. Judging by the golf balls in the vicinity caches should keep an eye out.

Found during a visit to the Nuriootpa area after completing the Five Oh series. Thanks for the cache brisal5!
Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped at Greenock we were planning a leisurely few days before moving on. After the last 2 days and only a handful of smilies we decided to make a more concerted effort to grab some finds today.
It was sooooo cold today the car said it never got above 9degrees! Can assure you it felt a darn sight colder when we had some hard to find caches and were out in it for more than we anticipated.
Some lovely views again today and other than 1 cache all with co-ords that were very accurate.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive. and maybe we will meet you at the event on Sunday.
