Also looked. Even went under the bridge in case it was caught up some how.
(please don't do what we did and go under the bridge. Very steep falls into raging water below)
Found the end of a fishing line tied to the bridge, but like everyone else, no luck.

Searched for 20 minutes, no sign of the tube.
Is it there or has it been blown or washed away?

What a cracker of a view. Have ran over this bridge many a time but never had the time to stop and have a look. Nice water chasm which I haven't noticed before.
Now I see a NEW hint. I'll be back!

It certainly looks as if this cache has gone. Only a short piece of the attachment remains.
We looked and looked and looked some more but sadly no cache. Have a fair idea where it should be but it wasn't hanging around there either.
Dear owner, are sure this one is really there? We could not find it but the view is lovely.
No luck with this one-looked in all the obvious places????? Four of us looking but couldn't spot this one

Last half of holiday trip in New Zealand. Starting again from Queenstown going Westcoast up and Eastcoast down.. One cache after another - that's nice. We liked the nice weather. Thanks for the great adventure.
In spite of 3 prior DNFs we gave it a shot. Not rookies either! If its there you stumped us too. Maybe a better/different hint?
Here on the 15/10/12,Spent some time looking for this one but the VIEWS kept getting in the way, make sure you check out the creek, ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BRIDGE.Thanks for bringing me here C F
Oh dear, should have read the earlier logs, got suckered by a red herring or should I say someone's attempts to catch one.
DNF for us : saw as well a fishing line tied to the rail at zero but nothing at the end
Could not see the cache....saw a fishing line tied to the rail at zero , nothing on that . No other ideas for us.
I'm somewhat amused by cachers who think they've found a hiding spot.
The cache isn't hidden in a hiding spot as such!

What a neat spot, We would never have stopped here if there wasn't a cache
Great spot, quick find. Nearby is a fairy dell with real fairies!! South side of the bridge against the cliff, jump over the gaurd rail - you'll see a board crossing the ditch - amazing!!
We were with other cachers when we did this. We decided to change the log paper as there wasn't a spare place for a dot on the first one. This cache is found by muggles, but seems fine. The river is well worth visiting - I saw it on Saturday when it was so high after rain that I didn't realise it cut through a rock gorge upstream of the bridge as it was all one level, muddy brown and bank to bank. When I went back the next day I was most surprised.
replaced log book as full. out caching with claw of the forest, linleye, and clownycacher. lovely location plus fairy grotto across the road was very cool! TFTC! clever. cheers, kiwicachers
Cache placement did make us appreciate the view on a dry day with high cloud. Thanks
First find on a cycle tour heading north from Punakaiki. Was getting behind the group so nearly gave up, but there it was, cunningly positioned where the GPS indicated. Nice view to the ocean through the gap in the rocks. Gosh, it's a hilly ride from here to Westport, over 700m up and down and some decent headwinds on the deviation to cape FOULwind.
Very good hide. There's one exactly like this between Nelson and Wakefield . Thanks
During our 4 weeks holiday in the southern island of NZ we did not only find an exiting countryside and wildlife. The many caches brought us sometimes to places we didn´t expect or planned to go to.
Thank you very much for this. Greetings from Germany.

During an awesome 4-week hiking trip in the Garden of Eden we stumbled into this one! Thanks for this cache, greetz from NL , Ro & Jet.
A nice cache on this spectacular road down to Greymouth! T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
Great spot, Took a few minutes to find, But were impressed with the way it was hidden, Great idea, might borrow that one for our first cache that we put somewhere Thanks
Took longer than it should have, looked around then spotted it from abit further down the bridge. Wasn't sure how we were meant to get it to start with, but was easy. TFTC #195
Took a bit longer to find, Stood back and had a good look and saw the right place. TFTC
I am happy to report that I spotted this one - helped by recently spotting a nemesis of ours that is similar up Nelson way - so with cache found log was soon signed and even had time to admire the view from the bridge thanks for the cache
Stood at GZ and didnt spot this one at first but as we were working our way thru variuos hides we have done before Niteowlnz cam up trumps again. Signed log and returned to hide TFTC
1400hrs Quite obvious when you know where to look. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
I should have definitely known better but search low and high before it was spotted. TFTC, Biggles.
Last cache of the trip before heading for home. PB did the hunting here - which took a few moments - while Annie had a supervisory role!!! TNLN TFTC
The Nuvi beeped as we came towards this one causing us to stop and search. A lovely little gorge, though the day itself wasn't much. An easy find for Mrs Roo after I had given up (she took less than a minute to find the cache. SL Thanks to Moneydork for the cache.
Absolutely bucketing down. Found cache holder quite quickly but parts of it had been painted and I had to break the paint to get access.
