Really sad this area near the scouts has become quite a dumping ground. For everything but a cache!
Not so sure about the one "find" in the last twelve months. It's over a year since a string of finds now and many have looked, including past finders with me last time. Tried again today just in case it had been cleared up and fixed, but no, the area is a mess. Really doesn't reflect well on the Scouts
Cache owner is flagged as inactive and not contactable by email. (Last on in 2011)
Probably time to archive this one and let one of the active Scout people place a suitable cache.

Given the poor weather and the number of DNF's on this one we decided to give it a miss today.

Off caching around the Barossa with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin.
Adding to the string of cachers not finding it [:(!]
Will watchlist.

I searched, i found an angel statue but no geocache could be found. Might need checking on given the number of recent dnf's
A good look around failed to turn this one up Unless it resides under the pile of tree debris - wasn't going there.

Geo- Granddaughter asked to go caching as she had a pupil free school day. Too easy. T.F.T.C.
This is a great place to have a scout hall.
Plenty of room for outdoor activities too.
Found cache without any problems and
as other finders have said, we were also
looking for something a bit bigger too.
Very pleased to have found it.
Thanks thecrankahs

Found with 2011*turtle. There was a pile of rubbish which initially we thought might be hiding the cache, but we looked further before tackling this, and found the cache without disturbing the dead branches. TFTC
This one brought back some memories from when I went to scouts, nice little area. TFTC.
Nice afternoon to take the kids or while we happened to be in the area. Shame our pen died so we couldn't write in the log and our usual calling card wouldn't fit

Very small for a regular.

Geo- son and I went out night caching for the first time to find this one. Can see the attraction - less muggle worries, and the hunt is trickier. Definitely be doing some more nights as the weather warms up
Found on second attempt. Hadn't read the logs and were looking for something bigger the first time

Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.
If you do not agree with this you are more than welcome to delete the log.

Found by Mary & David at 1110. That's a very small "regular". Enjoyed the walk, the peace and the pepper trees on a lovely sunny day. A fairly quick find. Our thanks to thecrankahs.
On the long trek from Perth to Murray Bridge for Oz Mega. We are now stopped in Gawler visiting with some friends on our way across this vast land of ours.
After doing some chores at the caravan this morning we headed off for a Pub lunch then just couldnt head back without finding a cache or 2.

That’s one more find for me! Thanks so much for hiding this geocache.
We wanted to find a cache today to fill in a hole on our geocalendar and this is the one we chose. Surprisingly it isn't found very often.
Grabbed it fairly early before the weather warms up too much.
Many thanks for the hide thecrankahs[^]

Doing a job for the scouts tonight we discover i am amongst quite a few geocachers, names i have seen on log now have a face to them : ) who can resist a cache so close to us, demonstrating the advantages of using a UV torch to heinzey57 the cache was found very quickly, co ords are spot on, the log was damp and there was water in the cache so the container has been replaced, there is also a fresh log so the cache is all fresh and new so hopefully logs will stop now regarding the wet log (fingers crossed) TFTC
Quick find but log book was swimming in water. Made a squiggle to represent all of us.
Today's plan was to get some caches with Schnail, D1sc0v3ry and Foxbane, it was a good opportunity to catch up and find some more caches in my home state before having to return to Melbourne later in the week.
Cache still here, but the log was dripping wet attempted to leave a sign that we were here it was not too successful though. TFTC

Having a geoday with the scouts starting here . This one seems to be missing or has been move from its location where we found it some time ago
Another day off, and another opportunity to get a bit of caching done, so a plan was hatched and we decided to attack some of those pesky Gawler caches that we never seem to have time to do. We had a great time until the sun making things a bit difficult without good torch light.
There was a little walk up to this one, and we had plenty of 2 wheeled onlookers, but we are pretty sure they had their eyes on where they were about to land. A quick find for Mrs M. TFTC crankahs.

Found while waiting for the Venturer Scouts to arrive back from Easter Venture on Easter Monday. Thanks for the cache.
I was in Scouts a looooong time ago, so always a pleasure to find a cache associated with them.
Now there is the new caching/Scouting comp I am surprised this is not had a rush off finds on it.
Always great to see cachers helping maintain cache too, so that others can continue to log finds instead of dnfs!
TNLNSL
Thanks

after playing a game of netball close by in 34 degree heat dad talked me ino going for a large cache not far away drove around for a while we parked close by and it was not untill we read the logs we realised it was smaller because it was a replcement. nice hide though! tftc!
Cache was gone no doubt in that we have replaced it with a temp so to keep those coming not to waist their time
After searching for a bit then reading the logs honeysucker was able to scrounge up enough to make up a replacement cache it is now a micro until the owner decides on more effective maintaince TFTC
After reading recent logs, thought we'd try just in case something was still there. Found back cover of notebook and a couple of pages scattered around. That's all.
