This has had a needs maintenance on it since April and a few more since with no action. Suggest arcvive, but it also impacts on the final of the not road kill series.
I have thought long & hard about posting a "Needs Archived" note for this cache.
Maybe the Reviewers will disable the cache first to give the CO a chance to fix it up.
The cache has not been found since 13/04/2014.
There are 4 "Needs Maintenance" Logs The first one was posted on 17/04/2014 then 21/06/2014, 18/08/2014 and the last one on the 24/08/2014.
The CO last logged on 15/08/2014.

Add me to the list of dnfs. After so many someone needs to post a maintenance log.
Should have read the notes first

With the temperature set to reach 31 degrees today we decided to get out early and grab a few.....but it startted raining on the way to this one. We discovered another great not road kill at this G.Z. and had the log signed before heading on our way.

We had a day trip to Phillip Island, Hubby wanted to see where the V8s raced & I was more interested in the penguins. We saw some great sea views, visited the chocolate factory & of course the V8 circuit.
The caches were numerous & well placed it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The road kill in this area is definitely different than around the Port Macquarie area.
I passed a live echidna on the bike trail it was one of the lucky ones.
Thanks for placing this series hell+back

A very big day on Philip Island getting as many caches as possible done today. This is one of the traditional caches that we enjoyed doing while taking in some of the sights. Love this series, so a favourite point here. Thanks to hell+back for hiding this cache.
Finally our travels have bought us close to Phillip Island. A fine day and awesome scenery made this a caching day to remember. We ventured from spot to spot admiring the changing scenery and enjoying the different hides. Thanks to hell+back for placing this cache.
A lovely sunny day out pocking up caches we have overlooked whilst introducing a friend to the game, found with banana 1,2,& 3. Signed log TFTC - Highly amused as we have bee scouring for real road kill today for a vet friend to cast native animal paw prints for a project with scouts, dont think this guy is quite what they are looking for. LOL.
Visited Phillip Island with the family for the day. Today's mission was to complete the Not Roadkill series. Despite the island being so busy, the mission was successful. This was a fast drive-by. A bit busy to let the little folk out of the car so made the grab and brought the cache back to the car for signing. TFTC
Went caching on Phillip Island with my family. Dad jumped out to get this one for us to sign. Thanks.
Today I was driver and tourist guide to some overseas releys, did pelicans, seals, wallabies, wedgies, swamp harriers, penguins and an echidna. A great day out and I managed to sneak to find 8 caches too. Tftc
Found after visiting the Phillip Island Hot Road Show
We had come down for a car show and that meant that I was allowed to find some caches...
This was a nice quick find!!

This cache needs maintenance. The log is completely wet and it is impossible to write on it....
Thanks in advance hell+back

Found this one very quickly, as we spotted it from the car when pulling up. Loved the container, but 7yo daughter who forgot her gumboots was not happy about slipping into the mud in her new sneakers. TFTC!
Urgent maintenance is required - please refer to our previous log for details.
This morning we cached in and around Wonthaggi. This afternoon we returned to Phillip Island. Yesterday we found some of the caches in this series and today we wanted to see if we could add to our collection. This cache was a quick find towards the end of the day. However the cache was completely saturated and the log was just a pulpy mess. Two of the problems were that the container in which the log was stored had lost its top, and the cache container had been damaged and didn't repel water as it would have been anticipated. The log was unsignable. The previous finder had left some paper. We removed the puply mess, dried the inner container and placed the new paper inside. However the state of the outer container and te mising top of the inner container makes it almost certain that the log will be quite wet after the next significant rainfall. Urgent maintenance is required. TFTC hell+back.
Was nice and easy to find this one however not so easy to extract the log. It was very, very wet - infact nearly pulp.
I added a piece of paper for anyone who followed me. That's all I could think of at the time.
It will need some TLC very quickly.

Began this series on one of the wetter and colder mornings on our Phillip Island trip, was a very creative a fun cache drive by series fun for all ages which took us on a very grand tour of Phillip island to some areas of Phillip Island we had never seen before, another quick easy find for us today thanks hell + back for this series!
Easy find with the hint. Cache cap is missing and log is very wet. Thanks hell+back FTC.
Found this fellow, but is a bit wet,I know that these are usually found in water, But the log is hard to write on when wet!!!
# 3308. Travelling around with the CO and her chief maintenance officer today checking on caches and fixing where needed. This one popped up on my radar as we were passing so I jumped out for a quick find. This one has a nice cosy spot by the road and was a cute and unexpected critter. TFTC hell+back.
We found this cache on our May caching holiday to Phillip Island.
The area is really beautiful and we got on the bikes for over 50kms for the 4 days we were in the area which we would never have usually have done on a holiday before geocaching!
Thanks to the cache owners for the fantastic caches you have placed in this area of Victoria.

Another good hide and another small animal - unfortunately the container was wet inside possibly due to the rain last night, dried out the container. Cache was dry and intact.
TFTC hell+back and for the further history recorded in your notes - you sure have spent some time researching all your animals etc. - much appreciated.

Final cache to squeeze in before Penguin Parade. I gotta watch this stopping-in-the-road-because-the-number-on-the-GPS-is-small maneuver--the guy behind me didn't like it one bit. After vowing to mend my ways (yeah, right), though, the cache came quickly to hand. Really enjoying this series; TFTC!
Out caching with EstesLynne and we have really enjoyed this series. We didn't think we would do it all.... we missed a couple and didn't keep track of the information for each of the questions, but even so, it was a lot of fun! TFTC.
Fun find whilst taking a break from finding mystery caches on the Island. Thanks hell+back
Found at 1:00 PM GAFF1. The container in this animal is tricky to get out as it gets stuck in its throat!
