Well I left the husband at home alone last week while I did chores in town & he found a boat on gumtree. So after lots of logistical planning we crossed the border into what we like to refer to as Mexico. Given the very direct drive there we now had a little time up our sleeve on the return journey so I decided that I needed to increase my stats on the number of states cached in a day. So over the bridge to Moama, collect a cache there walk back over to collect the virtual & because I wasnt certain which state the virtual was in back to Echuca to get one in Victoria. Then back to SA for the final cache. Alas, it wasnt to be smooth sailing - a blow out on the boat trailer & our wheel spanner didnt fit the spare. So we spent a few hours waiting for help, with the husband kicking himself for assembling the tools but forgetting to put them in. Now delayed we continued on and finally made it to the SA border. Rolling into Renmark food & sleep were on the mind. Armed with food we arrived at our accommodation & filled our bellies. Now with tired eyes we made to get ready for bed, when I realised I still needed a cache! Back out I go, thankful for the cache at the end of the driveway. A quick find and finally its time to rest my eyes. TFTC!
Find # 10311Day 4 caching friends to complete our epic On Your Bike series adventure. Picking up some counties, oldies, and other specials along the route to add to my tally and to stretch the legs. This was a quick and easy find and here at Come Play Another Round With Me today. Thanks so much for the many caches FLIPPER&CO and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light

We have travelled from Shepparton to do the three states border hopping for the international Geocacha day world record
Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. After a big caching day yesterday, it was nice to tour around a few towns and pick ups one caches along the way. 25 were found today, this cache was one of them.
An easy cache here. A caching first for us also, managed to make the find, retrieve, sign and rehide without leaving the vehicle. All good here.
Find #4453 on 20 Jul 2022.
TFTC FLIPPER&CO!

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). We are camped in Renmark to try and clear out the town and just do a bit of sight seeing. Today we headed out reasonably early...well okay..9.30ish... to tackle the majority of caches in and around the town. There was a bit of DeJa Vue here...We are sure that we have found this previously, to the point that I walk straight up to it..but maybe we didn't log it, so this time...we did. TFTC
Out with iluvtrekking on our last day in Loxton. Enjoying the rural roads caching we much prefer. Thanks Flipper&Co
Another cache found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
This is our last day in the area, so a very low key day today. Our thanks to all who have placed and maintained caches for our enjoyment.

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find whilst being watched by a couple of roos. Signed log GT. TFTC.
A stop on the drive from Renmark to Millicent for the Mega event.
The drive was uneventful, other than some regular stops for selected caches like this one.
Thank you for this cache
This cache was at the end of the road of our accommodation (one star if anyone else needs a review), so it was a must grab

Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

We found this cache as we drove out the driveway from our awful accommodation early in the morning. The first cache of October 2021.
Thanks FLIPPER&CO
The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.
Thanks FLIPPER&CO

Bluey and Bingo found it!
Papers are a bit tattered, but still room for a few more finds to be recorded.

Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega event now on the way to South Australia. 25 April 2021 12:51 pm Tyfc FLIPPER&CO 2043
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We picked up numerous on our way home to break up the journey.
Quick find at this one.
Thanks for the hide FLIPPER&CO and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
A nice quick find here, now onto the next find for the day.
Thanks for the hides FLIPPER&CO And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

Today was a big day with quite a lot of driving and not a lot of caches found but all in all a bit of fun, I started and finished the day in Adelaide going via tailem bend for a bike race at the bend before heading up to berri for an event and finding a few caches around the river land before heading back to Adelaide. Total of 42 finds plus 1 lab cache to finish of a series in the Barossa.

This weekend, I headed to the Murray Riverland around Berri and Renmark primarily to attend the celebration event, but also to join others in some kayaking geocaching adventures. I hadn't visited this region before, and I left really enjoying the picturesque nature of the rivers, the wine-growing areas, and pretty towns. I ended up visiting Kingston on Murray, Barmera, Berri, Lyrup, Renmark, and Paringa. Three other highlights worthy of mentioning was Chambers Creek, Katarapko Island, and the historical SA-NSW surveyed border area.
This afternoon, I made the drive from Adelaide to Berri. I made a few brief stops along the way targeting my bucket list caches (unique types, oldies, etc.), and then met Laighside Legends to complete *The Bucket List* kayaking cache, ironically enough. From there, we then travelled towards Renmark, and once it got dark, even walked the *Bookmark Creek Trail*. I then spent a little more time geocaching and sightseeing in Renmark, before finally visiting historical *Riverland Geocache*.
After having dinner in Renmark, I ventured out solo, and made a stop at this location. Once I pulled up to GZ and started looking, I made the find rather quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is getting rather full. Thanks FLIPPER&CO for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
