We entered the wrong point and had to wade though lots of mud from the building of the new housing development. After finding the track we searched all of the surrounding trees to no avail. The grass was long and the fallen tree branches had all rotted. We called off the search as the rains came.
One cache was found. A lot if water was drained. A log was signed despite being not unlike mush.

Recent flooding filled this one up completely. Log needs replacing. I emptied the container out as it was full to the brim! Contents sodden. TNLN TFTC
Catching up on some caches done while on holidays.
After spending the day in and out of the car with caching - most near the parking area - this one was a nice change with a short walk to stretch the legs. A lovely walk to the cache with lots of birds and animal life to see along the way. An arrival I found that the cache was out in the open and very visible to passers by. Signed the log and returned to hiding place covering with some camouflage material.

Nice easy find, camo on the lid has faded though, making it stand out a bit.

TFTC!!! Loved this spot. The cache was visible so after we signed the log (& took out a cigarette butt ewwwww) we hid it a little better. Thanks =)
Been taking my son to soccer here all season. wasn't till today that i realised there was a cache here, awesome little path. thanks heaps for the adventure.
TFTC...OMG the windiest day ever..Lovely little trail. Dropped off "Scruffy the Dog" for his next adventure.
After a long day at work I came detoured out here to make today’s find. I had put the recommended parking coordinates into the car GPS and as I arrived I wondered if I should even attempt this as there seemed to be a lot going on in the area. I think it was just sport going on on the field, but maybe also stuff on in the hall or church nearby. Either way it was on the other side of the road and I was heading away from all the noise. As it was near dark I grabbed my torch. I went to the other given coordinate, which was a trailhead for the path to GZ. After following it for a very short while it seemed to be heading away and past GZ, so I left the track and started heading straight to GZ, perpendicular to the track. This was short lived as there was a billabong blocking my way. I headed back to the given path and continued following it all the way around to GZ. The cache was easily spotted out in the open with its lid off and log gone. Someone else seems to have found this recently and made a mess of it. I found the log still in its bag (nice and dry) a few metres from the container. I walked a little further along the path to a seat, so I could clean and sign the cache. The inside of the container was wet, and smelly, and had leaves and strange small balls in it. Sorry, I did not have a rag on me so could not clean it out properly. I put it back where I thought it should go (matched the hint perfectly) and tried to cover it the best I could. It may have to be moved nearby if it is muggled like this again. As I was leaving I realised the path I had been walking was actually a full sized concrete pathway, that was very over grown and so covered with leaf litter you could barely see the concrete.
Thanks for the spooky walk in the dark and this great location!

Found at 1:35 PM GAFF1. I was drawn to this blue bag that was hanging on a tree, but it just turned out to be a blue bag hanging on a tree
So I went looking around fro a more traditional spot for a hide and as I was passing a spot, the bark camo just looked a bit too ordered and yep - there it was! Love it when you can see a spot the looks likely and then prove that it is the cache location.
This whole area is going to be totally built out soon.
Thanks morgans2320.
PS: - looking at the hint now - it is no longer as per the hint!

A nice little bit of exercise along the walking track by the lagoon. Drizzly today so no muggles to worry me.
Coords were good even under foliage so it was a simple find.

0010 GAFF1 Was looking for a place to stay over on my way to Newcastle, as the older son who lives in Jesmond had gone away for the weekend, and this looked like a nice place to pitch the tent.
Hunted around to find the cache. Dry and intact, and coordinates good enough (3m) to leave a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Will add a book mark for the Night Caching elective.
Type 1 of 4 caches today, plus a waymark or two.
Brought through for mileage: 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros NSW, Auckland NZ'13, B 2 B Travel ingot, G Cookie Earth Cache 10 Year Celebration Coin, Iconic Bridges 2012, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, Natures Camo CITO, NZ Mega 2013 GCookie Coin, Partysmurf (Mr. Blue), and trackable shirts.

While Cookie was setting up the tent I went and found the nearby cache. A little further off the track than I was expecting, but the coordinates were good enough.

This was a great little track. I found access the long way...thinking the track was on private property. The trail was so flowy and nice on the bike with an awesome view. The cache, a good size container was found within a few minutes. Overall a good experience

We thoroughly enjoyed the walk around the billabong, not realising it was as large as it was. Its size certainly is hidden from the road. WE were interested in the fact that the cement path stopped at a gate, and all the fences on the other side that go into the water. We wonder how much is private property.
The cache was located quickly once in the right area, even thought eh GPS was a bit jumpy due to the tree cover here.
Thanks morgans2320 for showing us the billabong and the great birdlife around here.

Great hide! It took me over an hour of looking yesterday. Today I found it in under 2 minutes once I figured out what the hint meant Thanks for the great cache! [^] (Took The Vikings 'plastic cheese', left a slinky, pen and bouncy ball)

Walking along the path we found the correct place to go off the track.
So I decided that Scooby Doo would go right and I would go to the left.
Scooby Doo was right and found it very quickly.
But which way had we walked along the path ???
And was the right side , right or was it the left side ???
Hope I didn't give any clues away.
Thanks again Morgans
I love your trickey hides

Rounding up a few caches we have missed around Maitland and Bolwarra.
A pleasant walk to this one for a quick find. We passed this one up previously because it was too wet. Has dried out quite a bit now. Thanks morgans2320

nice hide, great spot thank you for another great cacher. I put bolt in container.
We must have come at it from a different angle as there were no concrete paths today. A quick dash was made from the car to GZ where the find was made within seconds. Was great to see so much wildlife around the billabong this afternoon. Found with Mr CDM261. TFTC.
Found on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Mr Dazndky.
We stopped off to find this one on our way home from the Tocal Field Day - a fun day. (Got to watch my little 4.5 month old granddaughter pat a baby duck - just priceless)
Lovely location with lots of roos around in the nearby paddock.
Thanks for the cache.

Out caching with Spikeymikey and this could have been placed in a better spot, but it was interesting to see the work that has gone into this area. You don't normally get concrete paths that old in wetlands.

Easy find, right where GZ said so. Took out a play money $10 and left a mini turkshead. TFTC
After a short jog to GZ through the slushy grass and the board walk I finally had it.
Hot, humid and sticky here today.
Thanks for another cache.

Reperio at 1200. parked the car only a short distance away and made my way to GZ where surprisingly I saw another car parked only a few meters away of GZ. Luckily they moved on quickly and I made the find without too many hassles.

Ok I have just spent an hour trying to find haw to get to dathe's forest cache and this was the next in the gps. only problem is I was sure it was your mount bolwarra I was looking for and thinking why is the gps taking me down hill. So I checked the details and relised my mistake. carried on and found the cache easly and a very nice little billabong was a bonus. Thanks for bringing me here.
A really nice walk from the parking spot down to the billabong. At GZ the GPSr was changing its mind all the time but with the help of the clue we easily found the cache.
Took nothing, left a plastic 'cheese'.

Nice walk around the billabong, It seem to have been taken over by huge flock of pelicans. TFTC
There was lots of bird life about as I walked along the path towards GZ.
Made a quick find just as the phone rang and scared the you know what out of me.

Poor old Billabong looked more like a ces pool today very still and green, but the walk was a good one, though it's getting a bit hot now. I found the cache easily and continued back with Aussie Cacher Thanks for the cache
After failing to find it a few weeks ago with our inaccurate car GPS, we came back today with our new handheld GPS and were happy to find it. TFTC
We had a nice walk & found cache - love the alarm system! Took car & lizard. Left pokemon toy & dsi game case. TFTC.
Found while out caching with The Cashman and The Don.
Nice easy walk out to the cache.
I like the container.

Found this while doing the more-than2320 tour of the Coalfields with TheWobblys and The-Don.
Now this is one of those spots that I love. A place that you would have never found without geocaching.
It is a shame that it has not been maintained since it was established.
Plenty of wildlife in the area. Be careful of snakes as we saw one near the cache.
As we were logging a large kangaroo went bounding past.
Thanks morgans a great cache

This is our 4491st overall find.
Found at about 11:35 AM. After seeing the billabong from the hill above we drove around and found a park and went for a short stroll through the wetland. It was a nice little area and a quick find. The hills around here could be used for hill sprints for the fit inclined!
Thanks to morgans2320 for the cache.
