Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
This cache is disabled for now due to muggles and a new spot will be sought out.
Thanks, Lathamk
Thanks, Lathamk
Last cache for the day with Mudbrick. Easily found as someone else had discovered it and muggled it. We left it covered but all the contents are missing. There was one sheet of paper to sign left behind.

Met up with trailrunning and tagged along for his usual monday night caching run. Had a pretty good start with a find every 5 mins. This was an easy find. Trailrunning looked in the obvious spot and it was there. TNLNSL and TFTC:)
It's a warm Monday night and a great night for caching. jsmyong55 and I met up at around 5:30 at Swinburne for run on the other side of the Westgate Bridge. We had a good run at the start with about 6 finds in half an hour, but slowed from there for various reasons. All in all a good few hours. This cache was the sixth for the night. We jumped out of the car, and headed into the bush looking for it. After a brief search the cache was found and longged. Thanks lathamk.
Last few finders have done a pretty good job at getting this one back in shape. I endeavoured to get it even a little bit more hidden.
Cache was not well covered and had only the cache info card inside. Left an emergency log sheet, which I signed at 12:50pm. Covered it better as I left but given that it has been muggled the owner might need to relocate it.

Bad news. We found the cache open and uncovered. The only thing inside was the GC info card. No log or swaps.
Closed up and covered. Placed in best guess at original location.

Quick find early in the morning. Cache was a bit exposed, we tried to cover it better.

Got to the park when our gps died so couldn't really look around for it, just wanted to write a note that there were a couple of syringes amongst the trees so be careful!!
First find in a while, and the nearest unfound to home. Found while taking the Geo-dog for a long walk. Took marbles, left staples and cable clamps. Also took TB.

Finally found a big swaps cache near home to drop off my UK Wildcat, which I'm ashamed to say I held onto for far too long... with a resonable excuse, I took him to Cambodia for a month but there were no big caches to leave him in over there, that hadn't been muggled. Anyway now he has a new home in a pretty little parks in the western burbs, hopefully someone nice will pick him up and take him on his way. I'll add some photos of him out and about in melbourne later.
Nice little hiding sport, who would have thought!

Had to find a big cache to drop off diboau's UK wildcat. Made a special trip for this one. Beautiful, sunny winter's day.

Out on this cool Wednesday night for another huge night caching run with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy). Parked the car and walked down to GZ. Made our way in through the branches and found the cache. Thanks for the hide.
One of 33 found on another legendary night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). No problem with this one, just had to find a way in through the tree branches to the cache. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1335. Only a short walk, and no muggles in sight. A quick find followed. Our thanks to lathamk.
Visited this cache while out on a pre-dinner stroll.
Enjoying our first visit to Melbourne.

4221. [font=Century Gothic][green]I was heading back to Geelong to pick up FFP but just had to do a couple of extra caches on the way. Still made it in time as the search here was short as it was totally exposed. Covered it up better and then off I go.

I had an early meeting at our Altona Office today, so I thought I would grab a quick cache before hand, and headed to Altona Coastal Park. Well it was a nice walk, but I came back with no finds for two attempts. The track to one of the caches was beyond the depth of my boots, and the other had muggles spraying right near it, hindering my hunting attempts. So I headed of to the meeting without any finds for my efforts. Once done in Altona, I was heading back to the city and thought, not need to be back for a while, maybe a quick cache now. Swung off the freeway and headed into the back streets. I saw this one on the GPS and it looked a perfect quick grab. Parked at end of road, right near the cache, and had it in hand within a minute of getting out of the car. Signed log and replaced the cache, giving it some extra cover. The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache lathamk.
Interesting. And a school close by, went there just as it finished for the day. TFTC
With the choice of reading about the comings and goings of the world's celebs in Woman's Weekly for a couple of hours or finding a few caches, it was time to hit the road and choose that latter option . This was first on the list and I quickly had the stash in hand at 10:20 on this very pleasant morning.

This was a nice hidden away spot. Looked in the likely place and saw a square hole, but no cache. Looked across and saw the cache lying at the very western edge of the garden bed lying on its side. Put it back where I think it should be and concealed it with a rock and some leaf litter. Thanks for bringing me here today and for the cache.
I was out visiting my friend Jeanette. We had about 1 hour available so off we went to find some nearby caches.
Parked the car and found the cache quickly.
Jeanette made a new friend in the form of a neighbours cat as we returned to the car.

No one around when we arrived so it was a quick easy find. #4 of 10 with RollaB today. TFTC.
The chance arose to plod and find this one. A short train ride then a walk over the Freeway and along the Creek and there the Cache be. Just in time too as it bucketed down with rain shortly thereafter requiring a 20 minute shelter at a Bus Stop and availing of an unexpected ride on the 472 Bus! Still, as always, worth the effort. Thank you to 'lathamk' for the Cache and its location which I had not previously plodded toward and from before. Co-ordinates were spot on as was the clue. TNLN.
2.50 Out and about with 80 degrees today. Mrs 80 has drawn up the plan and we kidlets are happy to follow. This is our 15th for the day and keeping to the plan.
Now refreshed after our late lunch we are back on track. Easy parking nearby and a very short walk bought us to GZ. Nice easy find.
Thanks for the cache

A great drive by cache, and a good hide. found by the geodaughter. TFTH...SL...TNLN
As I approached GZ I was worried that the cache was going to be on the other side of the fence, but the arrow sent me straight to the visible cache. I signed the lof, then covered it a little better than I found it. I then scared the life out of a jogger as I emerged from the hide location. Cheers!
Found 10.40am
Navigated the streets to park very close to this cache, once at GZ the cache was easily found as it was out in the open. The inside was quite wet and we cleaned it our as best we could.

Unfortunately the lid was off this one and it was half full of water. The plastic bags did their job, but it looks like someone has found it and left it open. Nothing appears to be missing.
Another cache exposed after all the recent heavy rain. Signed the log then covered it - hopefully a little better than when we found it. The log was nice and dry, which makes for a change. TFTC TNLN
The water in the drain was well up, not surprisingly after that rain again. Happily it held off while I found this one, thanks lathamk.
My friend used to live in a unit just 30m from GZ.
She doesn't live here now though.
Cache was easy to spot as it wasn't fully covered over.
Almost stole the pen too, opps, back in there now.
Thanks lathamk for this cache.

Walked past here a few months back on my way to the CJ Park multi, came back and found the cache a little too easily - it was visible from the path. Beware of mozzies!
In the area with a little while to kill there was time to look for one more cache before heading home. I parked the car, found the cache, did the paperwork and was back in the car in just a few minutes which was just as well as the mums started to arrive to pickup the kids form the nearby school
Thanks lathamk for the cache

Quick find this morning after waiting for all the mums and dads to walk their kids to school.
Cammo was a little washed off from Saturday's torrential rain, but it's a good enough hide anyway.
My thanks again to Lathamk for another good-sized cache.

A nice quick find by GabGab here today after walking in from Hawkhurst St along the track.

Took nothing, left nothing.

Reperio at 1730. Fantastic to see a nice big cache. This was the last stop for me on a half day caching run before having to get to a mate's place in Altona for tea.

Found with drednort on a lovely day for caching. This one wasn't as big as I had expected from the title, and was clearly visible as we walked towards it. Hidden a little better now with original camo plus a little leaf litter.
Found on my most productive caching day ever in the company of Reesylou. Thank you for the cache. This is an area I do not know well, and caching was a great way to explore it.
We found this cache at 10:55am as the3rd of 6 on route to a surprise picnic for Maccamob in the You Yangs. A quick duck into this park in the rain. We now need to make a beeline to Lara. This is the 177th cache that we have found with the word "Cache" in the title, the 28th with the word "Big" but only the second with the word "Swaps". Thanks from D & HA B-A.

It was exciting to find a new cache close to home. Swapped a pirate coin for a reindeer. thanks.
Nice hide. Found with GeoCo and VP. Took coin and marble and deposited stick pin. Thanks.
Second find of the late afternoon.
I had trouble finding the access to this park as I had no mapping with me at the time but found it in the end.
Nice easy find though the cache will be hard to conceal from muggles in the long term
