A lovely view of the valley - would love to see it in winter. Great hide. Favourite point given.

I am out on a geocaching trip with NZB, Graciesgpsfun and Jude_E . A clever container. Graciesgpsfun managed to find it.
Now that rain has stopped I can do my next 50 in a day challenge for the DGSc. . This is number 13.
On our way to Oamaru after doing Kurow and Danseys Pass with busy paws. Found the clever hide TOTT needed to retrieve log. Thanks for this cache jamien.
Found separated on the ground in a very obviously wet area. Managed to sign log with coconuts3. Having a great time in the area. TFTC
Today cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
Caching around the back country picking up a few targeted caches plus more. Nice work on cache. All good here tftc
It took a bit to find the scrap of timber, having been distracted by a much larger round piece. All good here.
Nice quick find here as make my way up the road cache by cache leaving a nice trail of yellow smilies behind me (well mostly). TFTC # 15,566
In Kurow for the long weekend and time to head home with a few stops along the way. A nice quick find here TFTC
Decided to make a trip to Duntroon over the Dansey Pass. Lots of logs to find and sign and this one was one of them. Day and it begins again. TFTC
This took a while to find as everything was very overgrown at gz. It was eventually located exactly where I parked my bike. Everything around this cache is new so we half expected that this wouldn't be here anymore. We nearly gave up, but one last sweep and found. Put in new waterproof log. Thanks for the placement Jamien.
Sadley the cache has not stood the test of time and is in need of some care..KL replaced the wet wet log ..may need some tlc...otherwise great cache
22026 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went from Mount Cook to Dunedin. First, because it was sunny now, we visted the surrounding of mount Cook and the Tasman glacier. Then we drove alone and there were many caches along the road like the mighty oaks taril and many others, but a lot of them were on spots where I did not like to park a car. It were also to many to do them all, so we randomly stopped where it was safe and went for a search.
In Dunedin there are several Y2000 caches, and these we like specialy to visit. The Jasmer challenge is still not full..

Found with StreetWalker on day 2 of our Queens Birthday weekend, on a most enjoyable Waimate - Kurow - Waimate round trip. It turned out to be a good choice to head inland as the weather was fine (though cold!) until we reached the coast on the last stage of our journey.
We didn't understand the hint, so just persevered until the cache was located. Removed wet log book and replaced with a make-do piece of paper. TFTC.

I'm no longer in NZ, so I wonder if the next kind soul that visits this cache could possibly put a new small roll log sheet in it for me please?
Thanks and happy caching.
Thanks and happy caching.
Today was the day for the ride down the A2O from Kurow to Duntroon. The log was wet and unwriteable. Needs a new log.
Log wet. Needs replacing. (I didn't have any paper small enough for that container.)
A little bit of rest here on the A2O. This one took a little bit of searching but perseverance paid off and GC was finally in hand. TFTC
Hi Folks. I'm glad that this cache is still in situ and being found quite often. The problem is that I no longer live in NZ, so I can't look after it anymore. If one of you kind souls could replace the wet log for me, I'd be very grateful. Thanks and happy caching! Jamie.
Day 2 of the Geo Fest Oamaru, travelling with UncleSamNZ, KeyLev, and NZTravellers signing in as SEAC17 to save logbook space, collecting caches with good favorite points along the way.....
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining their caches.

In Oamaru for the 2017 Geofest Our second day and a drive through to Omarama was planed and a lot of caches on the way. As it was the Geofest we bumped into fellow geocachers as well as a few muggles along the way. We were travelling with Keylev, UncleSam, Stik-a-Crane so to save log paper signed as Team SEAC 17.
Thanks to all the COs for the caches along the route.

In the area for the geofest. Had planned to head to Omarama today. There were sooooo many caches we knew we were not going to be able to stop for them all so ran a filter on the pocket query for high favourite points (or solved puzzles) and targeted those...we were not disappointed!
Sorry to hear about Dave if you think he would have found caching fun then he would have liked the camo as its very cool.
Thanks for the cache.
Signed as SEAC 17 (South East Auckland Crew)

A new cattle stop for the cyclists with no obvious hint object in sight, until spotted something slightly out of place. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
This one nearly had us fooled but a second look gave us that smiley feeling. Found with debsnz
On a mission around South Canterbury/North Otago. 114 found caches today. Thanks to all the CO's for their effort. Sorry about the cut and paste. TFTC.
I convinced Sunroller to accompany me on a tour of the caches around Duntroon, Earthquakes and other parts on the way to Kurow. We had a ball.
The log was wet and it came apart as I was trying to extract it. I have replaced the log.
Cheers for the cache.

Headed down south with C&D and 11HPG11 for the CHCH Mega as part of the HOAC team, and decided that a Mega road trip/Mega Mission was the right thing to do. After a great day caching from Dunedin to Omarama we manged to get a few hours sleep before the big day 2 started.
Day 2 was the start of a ambitious plan to try and find as many caches as possible in one day! To maximise our chances of a big number we decided a 24 hour caching day was the only way to go. What an epic day, and some great moments too. The rough idea was to cache from Omarama to Oamaru, and then head north towards Christchurch. A huge thanks to everyone for the cache placments, and I apologise for the copy and past logs.
Find #69 for the day.

This was the start of a MEGA caching weekend in the company of good caching friends. In the company of both HKCB & 11HPG11 this was going to be another memorable caching road trip for many reasons.
This is the mission that we had set ourselves up for several months back. It was HKCB's idea, I was just dumb enough to think it was a challenge and I'd be up for it, 11HPG11 was silly enough to come along for the ride once we confirmed a spare seat (Nova Lightening pulled out for family reasons).
We were going to try to beat the NZ one day record in New Zealand (it would have been easier with 4 people), so after 2.5hrs sleep after a good feed at Omarama we were ready to go. This was the sixty eighth on what was to be an epic day with what amounted to 401 caches collected for the day and about 38 DNF's. We managed this with 10minutes to spare but by this time we were done for and still had to drive back to Kaiapoi. All in all an epic days caching with good friends and something I don't think any of us will repeat in a hurry.
All in all it was going to be a big day with a number of challenges, great sceanery, and of course great company. Fantastic driving along and up here as the landscape was so different from what we are used to back in the Waikato. One good thing about backroads being that we could continue our neferious activites without being disturbed by muggles.
Nice quick find here without any issues .
thanks for the placement , thanks for the cache

What a Mega Mission for a group of Hamilton Over Achievers! A great trip, a long time in the planning. I teamed up with Cats&Dragons and HKCB to grab a couple of caches while in Christchurch and surrounding areas for the 2015 Mega Event. We flew out from Auckland on Friday night and traveled to Dunedin in the dark of the night. Stopped for a few hours sleep before setting off to grab caches in the Otago area on Saturday before attempting a few more on Sunday and then arriving at the Mega on the Monday. An amazing, yet crazy road trip
When C&D mentioned a day with over 400 caches I should have turned and ran... instead I said yes, and here we are. 401 caches in 23 hours and 50 minutes. All done on about 2.5hr of sleep. It was hard work with only 3 of us and there were times that were hard and tiring but I still had a blast! An amazing experience that one has to be slightly crazy to even consider
No problems on this one, thanks for the placement. Easy to search here in the dark!

Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
Stayed in Oamaru for the night and left for Twizel today

I'm afraid I'm the other side of the planet now, so not in a position to be able to replace the log. So, would some kind cacher please change it for me? It'd be a shame to archive this one for the want of a small strip of paper. Thanks for your help and understanding and happy caching.
Found with Chosen1978. Unable to sign log as it was too wet and obviously needs replacing.
Found this one with Granville86a, container and contents were wet and unable to get log out, guess it is that time of year with heavy dew and lots of rain. Love the story, thanks for sharing and for the placement
Hard to get log out as it was abit wet. We managed to sign a g7+M. Thanks for the cache

Headed out for a weekend of crazy caching with sharkiefan - it was all about numbers this weekend!
For me personally, I needed the numbers so that I could get enough caches to bring my average a day back up to 4 caches at least for this year, as on a streak it's not really possible to find heaps of caches in your home hood!
This was cache number 32 out of the 116 we found over the two days. And a huge thank you to all the cachers who put out all these caches! Loved the fun time we had - though weekend could have ended better!
Sorry for not writing cooler logs, but heading overseas in a couple days, and I don't exactly want to be behind in my logging then!! Haha.
Consec caching day # 405
