• location is in a now totally rusted car, posing a health risk.
• cache has not been found for years.
• owner & owner’s companions have not logged into their accounts for over 5 years.
• owner & owner’s companions do not reply to messages or requests for maintenance.
• owner has not logged a cache for 10 years.
Hence this cache (and maybe all of this owner’s caches) should be archived.

Almost missed it. I think the state of decay has gobbled up the cache (last seen a few years ago). Nice ramble down. I’d advise you follow the wallaby trails (just follow the droppings)!
Found the spot, although it is a bit overgrown, but couldn’t find the cache even with the hint. Not sure if it is still there
Walked the 800m track. Down the cliff line to the rusted gz. Searched about for cache. Good one to do in winter. Tftc
Despite a PAF who then sent a photo of the new cache location in 2015, a long hard look was unsuccessful today
Until next time.....

We walked along about 800m of fireroad and a track to within 30m of GZ. Sue decided to sit down and read a book which she had on her phone. Dan then detoured about 50m away from the line to GZ collecting a few scratches as he bashed through the bush with his gardening boots. After a wide loop avoiding 2 clifflines, he managed to stumble onto the cache in a thick area of new growth. Bewdy. Then he scrambled back to Sue, taking an audio bearing from time to time. He quite enjoyed himself. TFTC
In Sydney for the weekend with McLookers picking up some solved puzzles and targeted DT combinations in and around the suburbs. The weather was great (much better than Melbourne) and conducive to the many hikes we done over the 2 days. It was fabulous to see some unchartered territory with the added bonus of a cache or two. This cache certainly deserves the rating of a D4 as we walked through grass as tall as us, as we made our way down the steep gradient in search of the structure hiding the treasure. We first found an abandoned fridge which we were sure wasn't the structure in question but after further investigation we had the likely suspect in sight and the cache soon in hand. Now to get back !
Thanks The Tumbleweed for the placement.

This was quite the adventure with The Tritonz today. We parked the car and headed towards GZ. When we got closer we realised there was an elevation situation. BUT we could not see a target. Off we went, across and down and the undergrowth that was much more like overgrowth was thick and high. All I could think of was snakes but luckily we did not see any. We did come across a fridge and then eventually a more likely structure. After a quick search using the hint in an earlier log The Tritonz had the cache in hand. We exited the area via a different, less grassy route, made the elevation climb and made it back to the car. Thanks The Tumbleweed.
Hinted to whitemushroom, that we were up for a bit of a wander and remembered this cache (not far from home). Glad we did as it was one of the 'shroom's favorites and he jumped at the opportunity to revisit. Easy wander.............until it got a little less easy. Had a chat about the grass clearing and wondered what it once was, especially that it is dotted with road markers. a look around and a check of the clue, gave us no help at GZ. A bit of a steer from the 'shroom and cache was in hand. Noted that this cache hasn't been found for a while and suspect the terrain though steep may be what is keeping the find count lower than it would otherwise be. Yep spotted a legless thing, but as usual it just wanted to get away from us. I didn't see it myself but it does explain why Mrs ASO made a quick dash to stand on top. Cache was found in an excellent and dry condition.

I was looking for a couple of caches to find within my 50Km radius, and this one stood out. But as I was walking to it, I was thinking about the descriptions of the other one. So after I made my way down the small cliff and followed the obvious sign of track, this large object was blocking my path. Just as I got by it my GPS beeped indicating that I was close, even though the rocky outcrop I was heading for was still distant. As I looked at my GPS screen to see what it was indicating I saw the obvious cache, and my position on the GPS was right on the cache.
Well... that was easy. Thanks for the cache.

TFTC,
This was by far the best of the caches undertaken today to give a difficult outdoor experience.
It wasn't to hard working our way to GZ, but upon arrival, it became obvious we were not going to find it without some help. Basically because I and at least one other in our group had cache blindness.
It will be important for those looking to undertake this to read the revised hint to be included in Tronador's log. This is because the cache has been relocated.
We resorted to a PAF who passed us on to another cacher who was able to head us in the correct driving direction where Tronador was able to twist herself inside out and locate the cache.
Visited a group of trackables and walked out feeling satisfied with all that I had done today.

After attending the Autumn in the Bluies, we were caching with Tronador, the Hancock Clan & Wazza9 hoping to find some nearby caches. When we arrived at the edge, I thought I might just wait here, but off I went, luckily it was not raining, down, down and then arrived at GZ. Well that is where the fun started. There was 4 set's of eyes and couple of phone a friends, the next thing before we gave up Tronador said here it is. A good gym workout. Thanks to The Tumbleweed
This turned out to be a good choice of cache to end the day on, in the company of Wazza9, Nana Nel, and Tronador. The cloud had lifted enough for a nice walk with good views and it was an enjoyable scramble down to GZ. We soon found the likely hiding location but finding the cache proved pretty difficult. After a couple of phone calls and a fairly lengthy search, Tronador eventually spotted it in a location that didn't fit the clue, however it was a good hide. TFTC The Tumbleweed!

I'd spied this cache on the map last night and thought what a great place to visit after the event. Then decided it might not be a great place in the rain. After we'd spent quite some time in the cafe we realised the weather had improved and after another nearby cache The Hancock Clan, Wazza9 and NanaNel drove to the locked gate to give this a go. The walk in along the fire trail was excellent and the end of the track has some very pleasant views over the valley. We found a way to drop down a level or two and then Sir Hancock spied a rather obvious object in the distance. We arrived at GZ. Wow so many places to search. Nothing here, nothing there. The hint mentions a regular sized cache in a rather obvious location but still we couldn't find anything. I decided to read some past logs and discovered that the cache mentioned in the description had been destroyed and that a new cache had been placed in a totally different location but the cache page had not been updated. A PAF confirmed this and gave us the heads up on a new location. Still nothing until I was coming up for air, then, for goodness sake there it was right in front of my eyes. How did I not see that. Lucky, cause I'm sure we were all about to give up.
NEW HINT AND CACHE DESCRIPTION: The cache is not green or a regular. Its a large micro, clear pill container. No point asking the driver, its not there. Your better off asking a rear passenger. Left, side.

I was after a cache that I would find challenging today, especially because I had a little bit of time on my hands this afternoon.
So I headed out to this one. What I particularly liked about this one was that you couldn't see the likely GZ from a far (I even checked on my way back out and had no idea where the GZ was).
After arriving at the GZ I spent a little time moving bits and pieces and getting down low to look in different spots before I spotted the cache. Neat hide.

Awesome cache had a lot of fun retrieving this cache, took a nasty fall while at the gz. It was a slow but painful fall but I'm glad there was grass to cushion my fall and yttam to help me up. 13 months without being touched as the last to find was whitemushroom. TFTC
#400!
Top cache! Gate wasn't open so we parked and then made the 600m or so walk along the trail that bent to the left and onto the clearing. Must say the random plain of grass nearby took me by surprise, how does that end up there?
Onwards to the cliff face, and at first it looks a shocker - but upon further consideration there's a nice line down the ledge. There was no confusion in finding GZ, it seems these are favoured hiding spots up the blueies. Midway into our search, I hear a "woah..", and before I knew it iker was rolling backwards down the grassy hill... I thought he wasn't going to stop.....
A nice hide smartly tucked away in a good spot. Thanks for the challenge, crazy to think that this cache was untouched for over a year. A favourite from me. TFTC.

Went out with whitemushroom and didn't realise how high up we were once near GZ. I saw the look on whitemushrooms face and thought he might think this one is too tough for him to do. I went over to the left and found a way down as whitemushroom looked on. We realised once I was down that whitemushroom could come down if he went across much further. To his surprise it wasn't as difficult as we first imagined. After an extensive search whitemushroom made the find which made for a very enjoyable cache. TFTC.
Well, well, well. A pleasant walk into the area, and thanks to the OSM inclusion of tracks, a save from a needless bushbash across country. Past a large open grassed area, and then an abrupt decline to the valley below. bisygisy led the way, down the rock face ... to a sharp, though doable, further drop. While contemplating my fate, a further track was sighted below, and with guidance a tentative, but successful clamber down was achieved. The GZ was a 'how did that get here?' and a head scratch of a seek. For the 'mushroom to actually get into a position to 'discover' the Cache is as remarkable as that the clamber down was also made. In deluded euphoria the FTF pathtag was claimed (ignoring the obvious Hoogies Log on the pristine 'replacement'). A thoroughly enjoyable adventure. TFTC

I didn't really read the description when going for this cache. I didn't even look at the rating either. I was dressed inappropriately for this sort of cache as I was up this way for the annual Autumn Caching events by Wentworth Falls Lake.
The GPSr wanted be in different directions at first but settled to put me towards GZ. Then reading the rating, I knew where I needed to go. GZ approached soon after and I begun the search. I followed the hint with no luck. Started to read the latest logs to only find the cache has been destroyed. I found a bit of a old container so I was gonna log a find for attending the location, but to my surprise, a more focused search and a cache was found. Tumbleweed has forgotten to tell us the cache has been replaced. In the end, a better outcome than what it could have been.
Good adventure, good views, nice hide. TFTC.
P.s. hint should be changed for the new cache and hide

Almost a drive-by, drove to the lookout and clambered down the very wet rocks. Sadly, we could see the cache before we got anywhere near it, scattered all over the wreck that once hid it.
Dried one of the log sheets as best we could, signed it and put it into the drier mini first aid kit ziploc bag. Container is ruined and needs love REAL FAST!
Cheers

We drove up at the lookout. Team Webguy took the rock route while I found a track that wound its way down without a lot of clambering, although it didn't do much in the way of keeping one dry. As webby said, the first thing we saw was the green container in plain view and collecting water. We collected the bits of the cache and log book and thought this would have been a good place to use the hot air gun to dry the log sheets, two things stopped us. Not having required tool with us and failing to find a nearby power point to plug one in, so we the next best thing and placed the container bits and rescued contents out of the immediate path of the wetness.
It needs a visit by The Tumbleweed with a new container and log tout de suite

A nice walk along the fire trial. The geo teens did the rock scramble down to retrieve the cache and sign the log and then found the easier path up. TFTC.
Nice walk out along the fire trail on a sunny autumn day. Quite peaceful. Shrubbery was a tad damp after leaving the track but no problems locating the cache.
There were great views oboce this cache in the late afternoon. My dad retrieved this cache for the team. Thanks
We walked along a road and there were cliffs looking into the valley. The sun was low and dad retrieved the cache. Thanks
This has been on my to-do list for some time. We'd been to Lithgow today and on our return I persuaded the WaywardWoman to take a detour for this one. I was mindful of the sun getting low in the sky as we walked out so I kept walking too quick and having to stop for the rest of the family. When we got to the cliff I dropped down the first level and then started looking for ways down. Eventually with a bit of rock scrambling I made it down and found what I was looking for (I too found the fridge first - what's with that?)
I checked the CO's hint and was about to begin my search when I realised there was a red-belly black snake right where I thought the cache might be. Bugger! It slithered a metre or so away under other parts of the old wreck, but I was a little wary about looking where I thought I needed to look. I was just wondering whether I should call off the search, since I could still see part of the snake sticking out, when I looked behind me and saw the cache. It was a quick signing, removal of a TB and cache replacement.
Of course, on my return I noticed a little trail and followed that. Rather than scrambling back up the cliffs, I found myself just walking up a steep slope to get back to the top. Ain't it always so?
Thanks for an excellent cache with a little adventure involved.

Rather difficult going for this one and by the time we got back to the car after our 12 finds today, I was knackered. So the geohubby got driving duties Clue was very useful. TFTC
Well, its not in the fridge or whatever that was... moved on a little, this time steering in the right direction and the cache was soon found. Packed away the descent gear and found another way up. Dropped a little Monkey TB Aeffli
I enjoyed a leisurely stroll out towards GZ. I was a little surprised to see the grass paddock but I put that down to an improvised heli-pad come fire season.
On towards GZ and after negotiating the short drop off I quickly found the cache. Ever present of the things that lurk in these relics I was quickly out of there as the day was heating up.
Thanks

On a lovely Sunday mountains afternoon, jobs done and time to talk to my teenage son. It was also time to do the only GC cache within 10kms of home.
It was an easy walk along a fire trail until about 60m metres to go. Then 30m of easy track and you are at the edge of a cliff. The cliff is only short and fairly simple if you go slowly and pick the right line.
Soon the cache was in hand and it was time for the trip back to the car.

Had a couple of hours so off to find this cache in a location that I haven't been to before. Got the bus out to about 2kms away and an easy stroll along the roads to get to GZ. Rugged views from above and there were lots of wildflowers out along the way. After finding my way down the small cliff and pushing past the very prickly bushes to grab hold of the cache at 12:05pm. Left Dawggone Kansas Sunshine 2008 Geocoin and took the Travel Bug. Negotiated my way back the cliff and then the walk back to the bus stop and home. A great day's adventure, many thanks for placing a cache here.
I was a tad worried about my little buddy after all the hard blue mountains rain over the last couple of days, so I decided to check up on him. It's still 100% dry on the inside, so the container's doing its job right. If you decide to do this cache, watch out if it's just been raining. Slippery when wet!
Had planned to try for 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' today, but when this new geocache showed up on the geocaching radar screen, I decided that it was a much more realistic alternative.
Harking back to my previous life as an alpine guide, I scampered down the dangerous Wentworth Falls cliff like a marmot, notwithstanding my 62 years. I had already guessed the meaning of the CO's clue pertaining to the cache's hiding place and, sure enough, there it was!
This was simultaneously my 350th GC find and my 4th FTF. (Woo hoo! Woo hoo!)
Cache container was in good nick and the contents were dry. Picked up the FTF coin and the 'Bonjour Franco-Canadien' TB. LNSL.
Many thanks to The Tumbleweed! We always appreciate new caches in the Upper Blue Mountains!
