TFTC! Nice quick find before art class, and great to learn about some local history. As others have mentioned, the box is broken, log is in a ziploc back and still fine. Bring your own pen!
Found It!Interesting bit of history and a quick find here on a cold Sunday afternoon. The container is broken and needs replacing.TFTC
Thank you. It was an easy fun while the kids playing in the playground. but unfortunately the cache is falling apart and broken. Log still there in a ziplock bag but the cache no longer stick to the pole. It needs some serious maintenance.
After doing a night cashe with the geodog and KKZ69 we decided to stop at this one on the way home. Had to wait for some muggles to leave then got searching but found fairly quick.TFTC!
My first time driving in Sydney, and what a time to do it with active school zones and rowing a camper trailer. As such, parking was a bit of a stretch. Fortunately, the carpark was relatively sedate - for the most part.Fortunately Heymissjo was able to find this one without too much difficulty. Which meant we could move on before disrupting the carpark any further! Thanks so much for bringing us to Baulkham Hills for another LGA.
#1878Having driven up from Melbourne for the Canberra GeoBash Mega, The Welder and I are decided to head up further north for a few nights staying in Umina Beach. But now its time for the long drive home. That doesnt mean that we dont stop for caches along the way. Particularly targeting some new LGAs as we go. Tonights destination is Cowra. Cache is dry but container needs maintenance as its broken. Wasnt happy about the gum I stood in in my things either blah!
Arrived at the location and found the cache quite quickly but the container was a bit broken and falling apart. Thanks for the cache!
TFTC Nice easy find but the cache is falling apart so I dont think it going to last too much longer
Its fantastic when hidden caches reveal more than their log rolls. Forgotten railways, indeed! Quick find, although part of the camo cache is missing. Log dry relatively, TFTC
A quick find in obvious place. Container is a bit broken and needs replacement. TFTC
Found it after an embarrassing amout of time. Checked all the other spots around it but not that one. But got it in the end
A quick find on my way to Windsor this afternoon ... thanks for sharing this interesting historical landmark with us.
Very interesting history here I never knew this. Good to learn about history. Got to GZ spotted the cache at the right angle.
Nice easy find and learned a bit of history as well….Toot Toot!!
BONUS……. Vinnies close by!!

After looking for this one a few times by myself in a bit of a rush, I took my kids with me for a revisit. We found it pretty much straight away and in reflection it was a classic case of overthinking and me not looking where I should have (even though I’m sure I checked the likely location! Haha)
TFTC!! Interesting to read a bit of history that I pass almost every second day
Chilly evening just before lockdown. Peob last cache until July 9. Found with Twinkletoes72
Found with gusph, had to do some quick caching before lockdown. Will I survive till the 9th July TFTC
Again geocaching brings us to a local spot, we've passed SO many times and not noticed! And given us an interesting local history lesson
Thanks for maintaining the cache

A great little history lesson and a fun one to break a bit of a dry spell ;thanks to work). TFTC.
After completing a nearby Adventure Lab "William Thompson Masonic School" I decided to check out some other hidesin the vicinity.
A quick find with the generous hint. The container is only just holding up. Placed a new log inside. TFTC

First find for the day with geofriend. Managed to find the cache but the log was too damaged to sign.
Log destroyed and needs replacing to be signed. I arrived here and saw 2 guys acting odd near by so waited it out in the car before they disappeared out of sight
With a few days of not much going on in Adelaide, I was deciding what to do for the next few days. For some reason Sydney seemed like a good choice and within 6hours I was off and away. With a last minute decision came a last minute plan of what I was going to go and find and as usual it changed but still got most of what I came for. A few DT fill-ins for my next loop, high favourites and JASMAR caches I was yet to find including the oldest in Aus: Lane Cove. Day 1: I arrived in Sydney late in the evening and had booked to stay at the rocks, I got off the train at an early stop and collected a few caches in the city along my path and a few lab caches. Day 2 I was up nice and early and went for nice run along the foreshore collecting some cache from the opera house to Walsh bay, I then headed over to manly and a nice walk around the area before picking up the free hirer car collecting a few caches on my way to lane cove. I later headed north to central coast to 2 Multis I was keen to tick off before arriving back in the city suburbs for the evening. I continued driving around the suburbs collecting LGAs and that continued on for day 3 before going to Bondi for some nice walks along the rock faces and the beach. As I had to drop the car back at lunch time I headed back into the city for the afternoon to collect the rest of the caches I had missed that were possible in the time I had left.
A total of 86 finds and 37 adventure labs for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

I passed this spot hundreds of times on my way home, but never stopped to take a look at the Forgotten Railway. Today, after visiting Stockland I crossed Windsor road and soon arrived at the small park.
I read the plaque with much interest and then came down to business and found the cache.
The log sheet is not in the best condition so instead a photo log.

Never knew that the rail came to Baulkham Hills. Great thing about geocaching is that it leads you to such things. TFTC.
Just finished getting my pampered up the road and had a caching itch.. On my way home I dropped in here for my fix.
The cache container is holding alright, although it is weathered.
Log is not good condition. I was just able to sign it.
Unfortunately being on my motorbike I don't carry stuff with me besides a pen.

Quick find! Tricky to spot. So much fun. Couldn’t sign as I forgot my pen so will come back.
We loved looking all around the place. Finally we found it yeah. We loved how it was metal and it looked so cool. When we found it we celebrated because we hit 10 caches. Thanks for the history lesson! Our family would love to do a cache like this. TFTC
Was difficult to find at first but awesome little geo cache and great spot well done tftc
Tftc. Quick find. I have avoided for a while due to muggles at bus stop near by each morning. Today here at less busy time.
Did a bit of a scratching around before I found it. Log signed after someone from 2014!

Nice cache with history, we do like railway related caches with good information. TFTC
Found with lyn999. Learned a bit of history in the process. Great little hide. Tnln SL tftc!
Long day chasing a few specific challenges, this icon appeared on the map while stopping at the traffic light so a quick change of the blinker turned into a bonus PnG smiley.
Down south visiting family for Christmas. I managed to sneak away today to grab some caches, after my first cache was a big fat dnf I went to get some breakfast where I bumped into an old friend also in town visiting family he tagged along for a few finds and did well, beginners luck I think It has been a slow caching month so it was nice to be out Some great caches today and this was one of them! The tree made a great backdrop for finding this cache
Pauline found it first before Quentin and I. Log book in good condition.

I was hoping that the morning rain would keep the muggles away and I was right. With the place to myself, made a quick find.

Thank you steampunkned for this neat cache. We stopped off for a coffee nearby on our way to collect a newly put together computer, and found we were within a short walk of your cache. We're into railways and tramways and steampunk, so just had to wander over. Nice one.

Located at 11:20pm. Quick find, easy find. Peaceful evening out caching after studying the afternoon. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Worked nearby for the last few years but never got around to getting this one. Found with Stardust on a nice walk in the area. Thanks.
We came by in a hurry yesterday and weren't able to locate it due to Muggle activity. Came back today and found it easily using the hint. TFTC!
A lovely park with some interesting history.
I wish there was still a rail station here, it would have saved me a long bus journey to get here this morning

We decided to visit the Baulkham Hills library instead of going to the Castle Hill branch. Fortunately, the libraries are linked, so it doesn't matter whether one borrows books from one branch and then returns them to another.
After exchanging books we headed up to the little park here for my little lad to work off a bit of energy in the playground. I then sauntered over to GZ with him, telling him about the train line that had once run between Parramatta and Rouse Hill. We had a look at the wooden sleepers and the bits of rail that make up the marker board with the information. He's crazy about any form of transport, so this interested him. He also enjoyed searching for and finding the container.
At that point I realised I had forgotten to bring my pen, so we had to return to the car to pick it up. Then back to the cache to sign the log and replace it where we had found it.

I was waiting on my order of takeaway Thai at a nearby restaurant, when I remembered another t this cache I've been meaning to get.
As with a previous attempt to get this cache there was someone sitting on the bench next to GZ. Fortunately a muggle mother arrived with her muggle kids to play at the nearby playground, thereby diverting ppl attention to the commotion the kids were creating. I took this opportunity to quickly match the cache in the first place I tried. I SL and replaced the cache as quickly as I retrieved it.
It's amazing to think a railway once came through here. And it wasn't kept.
TFTC??
