As I drove home from Adelaide, I could see the new fence, so will disable for now. If I can retrieve it, will move it to road verge otherwise I will need to disable it.
Will check it out next time I go past to see if the fence now puts the cache out of bounds.
After finding some Wandering Heroes with Goodlook yesterday we stayed at Loxton for the night to grab a few local caches before parting company.
As far as half of the team is concerned this place should have stayed a sheep station and he would have had more interest in it but the other half likes it more in this reincarnation and has probably helped to support their business on more than one occasion as she enjoys this brand. The cache was a nice easy find and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks once more for the cache.

I had such a wonderful weekend with my good buddies, the lovely Team Crackers [:X] [^] whilst caching from Karoonda to Waikerie over the 2 days.
We enjoyed the frivolity and fun that accompanied finding about 100 caches [:o)] [^]; lots of good food [^], heaps of laughter , some crazy story telling over maybe a drink or two before bed [^]. We enjoyed one night in Loxton at the Big 4, and we couldn't believe how lucky we were with the mild and fairly sunny weather we experienced (given the torrential rain in Adelaide).
A totally unplanned and unexpected weekend, but this spontaneous 'hook-up' could not have been more perfect [^]
Thanks for the cache crane2!

A very clever cache. We needed to stretch our legs on the journey from Adelaide to Renmark, and this gave us the perfect reason to do so.
I spotted it and Muggle Hubby removed the lid for me to sign it.
Thanks for placing it here, and helping us accumulate another happy face on our map.

Find No: 5678. On the way from Newcastle to Alice Springs, staying in Port Augusta tonight, so far so good, tricky little devil this one, gets a favorite, thanks for the cache crane2!!
Arrived here in Moorook after our tedious drive from Loxton on our way to Alice Springs for the Event over Easter, if we ever get there at this rate. I had 2 caching sessions, one before and one after lunch. Both were great runs and I congratulate the COs on placing and maintaining the caches- a job well done.
Please excuse my generic logs as it is hard to remember the finer details when logging so many.
All logs were either signed or stamped in the morning run and as I forgot my stamp in the afternoon many were signed as SG as I often do to save space.

Last night at an event, ttrogg asked if I wanted to go for a drive today[?] Naturally the answer was yes!
Muggle partner ended up coming with us and after leaving at 8am we returned home at 4pm with 5 cache finds, 2 of which were FTFs
We took ttrogg's little car into places that I think he'd never thought it could go
Muggle partner did most of the dirt road driving while ttrogg did most of the bitumen driving and I got to snooze in the back seat [)]
A fun day out and a good day for a drive [^]
I like red wine and I like clever cache hides
A quick stop and find on our way to get one particular cache some distance from both home and here

Travelling through the area for work and tried to call in on this one this morning but there were workers parked right at GZ so had to continue on. This afternoon on the way back the workers had moved up the fence-line so wandered over to GZ and suddenly everything made sense and found a very clever cache. Signed log and replaced. onward to home.

Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes of hunting before this well designed, constructed and presented cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks crane2 for the cache - it earns a favourite from us.
An impromptu dash to South Australia was needed so I could say my goodbyes to my poppy, and I stayed a couple nights with my best friend KBKL. After poppy's service was sorted, we decided a few caches were in order.
Time to drive home and I had decided to get a number of caches en route. Turned a normally 12 hour trip to clost to 20 hours but it was worth it. Managed to get 4 states/territories in 24 hours also

A weekend to test out our kayaks, our new tents and to see if our geo-pup can handle camping near other unknown people. ......But it was hot...NO it was BOILING!. Fri night we arrived and went on a guided sunset kayaking tour--AMazing!! (But no caches near-by) Saturday was hot, hot, hot. Poor Elf was less then impressed with this much anticipated camping trip due to the extreme heat. Geo dog didn't care as long as she could swim-- and that she did. Finally Sat evening theElf and I set off to do the night cache. Nerves were a bit rattled as we saw the bush walk, as it was now just perfect weather for snakes. Thankfully the cache was soon in hand and no snakes were seen here or next day.
Sun-- 40+ and we decided we would pack up and head home around lunchtime...so I got up with the birds and spent a a couple of hours with geo-dog, caching.
Grabbed a few on the way home and now we are 1999!! Yippee. TFTC everyone. I grew up on the river and we have had about a 9 year drought re holiday visits due to the pain of losing family and too many memories--- but I missed it too much-- and Berri is perfect- We WILL be back. Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 13. Today is back on the road, half my journey back to Canberra took me to Balranald via the Barossa valley using all of the new South Road and Sturt Highway links.
Thanks.

My sister & B-I-L were camping at Cobby so i decided to drive 2.5 hrs to join them for the day. B-I-L fished. Sister, Jen came with me & geodog, Mandy, geocaching around the area.

So having attended the event at Nuri I now had to head off to work in Loxton.... school pedal prix.... But of course I got distracted along the way, I was only an hour later than I should have been.
A great location, I remember coming here for walks through the wet lands years ago with my son.
Thanks

Found quickly on a day of exploring this area of the Riverland. The cache prompted us to go and visit Banrock Station where we walked away with the wallet a litte lighter but at least we had a new smiley! TFTC crane2.
Found on the way home from the Queensland Mega event in Stanthorpe with Uni and Shonky. We had a fantastic time finding a lot of great caches along the way.

What did we see?
Wow rocks can be soo hard to find
We headed out with us and harleyjohn to achieve some smileys on some Riverland caches caches. We Left come at 8am we set off through the back road's heading to the kayaking event in Loxton. Three events two states can we do it? We agreed as a group to not cache till we hit loxton. The bees have a new kayak any its the first trip with it attached to the corolla and that posed some logistical and sound issues that we were not prepared for. Geopet Winnie is happy to be out in the car caching again after her caching hiatus.

We came here on a school camp back when I was in primary school. A school camp to a winery - sounds a bit suss doesn't it. Apparently no one realised it at the time. I can't say I really remember what we did here - it certainly wasn't the highlight of the trip. The kid that fell into the river down the road is what I remember from the trip...

Today is day three of our trip away. We set off for Berri to spend 3 days caching the Riverland area, joined by earthlight and Gwen from The X-Trailers. This was a good opportunity to find (or DNF) caches while trialling out our new tent and camping accessories, gearing up for when we head off to the QLD Mega at the end of March. We started out in temperatures of 38ºc before that first evening brought light showers, although not enough to dull the 41ºc temp for day two. Day three was a much nicer day as the day cooled down to a nice 28ºc. We managed 200+ finds on this trip. On day two we found caches in 3 states in 1 day being SA, VIC & NSW, that was quite a highlight. No snakes were spotted, guess it was too hot for them but we had one roo bound slowly across the road in front of us. Next trip back here will be with the boat, there are plenty of river caches to hunt for and naturally all the ones we didn't have time for. Cool cache container. TFTC

After reeling in the mysterious bluefish with our caching friends Suscoe, there was time left to collect a few more smilie faces before heading to a special Birthday lunch for Mrs S. Our final stop before lunch - so readers will know our destination.
The cammo of the one is very professional, sadly the log is wet and in tatters. Future seekers would really appreciate a welfare check on this one by the CO.
Thanks to crane2 for the hunt.

Suscoe was headed out for a day of caching wandering eventually to the North West of Loxton in the good company of Phetlern. We were heading to a special lunch for Mr.S's birthday.
This was our 60th find of the day.
It was a beaut day with loads of sunshine, a gentle breeze keeping things pleasant and lots of fun.
Lunch destination soon to be found and so this was the last before lunch,

Mr M-SEZ & geo boy are out caching with ma77hew from ma77hew & kay. We cleaned up most of the back end of the Wandering Heroes series and the loose ones in between, but then it started belting down with rain when we had only 4 to go!
Part way home the weather cleared up again, so with what little light we had left we grabbed just a few more. This was our last one before we couldn't see.
A creative cache that's worth a favourite point. Unfortunately the log is wet. TFTC

You cannot ban the rock !!
Rocks keep our feet from sinking into the Magma underneath
And magma is [red]HOT[/red].
This spot by the road side gave me a new idea about rock bans
maybe they just were not welcome in the vineyards, except in the form of soil.
Of course soil is made up of rocks !!
But that seems to be a point lost on farmers, or viticulturists
So by the side of the busy highway, I wandered over to the obvious spot to find a cache.
And found none
Hmmm ! [thoughtful chin rub]
Maybe that geotrail will reveal something
And at the coords the GPS was actually indicating, I soon found this tricky little cache
TFTC !!
Ban the 'Munzee', not rocks !! [:o)]

Touring the Riverland and hoping to tackle some caches. Headed out from Loxton today and started at the Banrock station winery and then worked backwards to camp.
Enjoyed some great Wattle seed scones, jam and cream at the winery before retracing our steps.
Then to find some caches to continue our geostreak whilst exploring the area before returning to our caravan and cat.
Mr Felix tackled this one on his own as the descent was a bit steep for dodgy knees but with no find on initial inspection some assistance given and both pair of eyes on the hunt. Thankfully Mrs Felix spied something not quite right with 30secs at HER GZ... lol.... Woo Hoo. Nice cache.
TFTC crane2 and addint to our enjoyable experience.

Didn't get this one on the first look. Had to return to the van and get the GPS. That will teach us to be presumptuous. A great container but log was a bit haggard. Thanks.

I am enabling listing as a recent finder has said that there is a container there. I will check on the cache when I return from overseas.
I note that this one is meant to be missing however a suitable object was spotted and there it was.Container a bit worse for wear but still doing the business.
Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this. All good wishes from us both.

Called in to see what the story about the decoy cache was, as I certainly didn't place one, and to my surprise the original cache is completely gone. I won't be making another big rock at this stage, as I don't think I have any Plaster of Paris left, but may just place a mini here soon. Have removed the decoy. Who put it there, I'd like to know!
That was a clever cache,
Could do with a snap lock bag inside though as the log book was damp

A busy day with BettyBoo3747 and half of Pprass. In the morning we tackled local Riverland caches, and in the afternoon the end of the Wandering Heroes series.
We were wondering where the winery was (we saw it much further down the road).
A very cute themed cache. (dislike decoy caches though)
Thanks, Robmc.

Found at 10:46 AM GAFF5 in the company Robmc and BB#. Well we fell for the decoy even though it was 7 metres from the real GZ. So then we headed on to the real GZ and found a nicely hidden cache with great camo. We wanted to go to have a look at Banrock Station, but we were on a caching mission.
Thanks crane2.

# 5310. Robmc and I are in SA to tackle a few of the many Series and others along the way. We have now been joined by pprass to join in the adventures.
Today we decided to do some caching around Waikerie and Loxton and try to finish off the Wandering Heroes Series. We found the decoy first with Go Grandy's Note inside and the note saying DECOY. Widened the search to where my GPS was pointing and lo and behold there it was - sorted this one out quick smart. A favourite from me for the hide.
