During our roadtrip through New Zealand I DNF this cache "Old Stones (Far North)" from CHLYBN on 18 maart 2020 13:08.
For some reason my mobile GPS did not want to focus on the CC but I found the remainders of the hit looked around but in vain.
Groetjes/Greetings and TFTC from a Dutchman (a long way from home, but home is here the heart is, on the bus).

We saw a place that looked like the former hiding place. But there was no container - it might have dropped and fallen downhill...
But we met nice cachers who were just new to this great pass-time. Good luck to them!

On the way south to my today's destination, there were a lot to see and explore. It was the way itself that became the goal of the day.
This place was discovered through GC and, as so often when that happens, it was great to spend time here. I could learn a lot strolling around.
TFTC!

In Kerikeri for a few days on holiday. Lovely sunny day. Enjoyed visiting the Stone Store and the Kemp House. Lovely view of both from Ground Zero. Nice hide thanks CHLYBN.
Had to wait for some muggles to move, otherwise an easy find. A beautiful place to sit and take in the natural views. TFTC
Exactly where you said it would be. Stopped off en route to Tauranga bay for a walk and cache
Evening stroll at beautiful Stone Store. Went for a little wander off our walk to find this cache. Beautiful view! GZ found thanks to the hint. TFTC
Found during our Christmas and New Year vacation roadtrip around New Zealand.

Tramyard and I headed up north on a roadtrip to find the Northland geotour caches. We would have been up this way last weekend if I wasn't completing a half-marathon for charity and tramyard wasn't at a competition.
We left Auckland early and headed straight to the Opua to catch the ferry across the harbour before returning to Paihia and Waitangi. Saw this virtual up here and convinced tramyard to detour up this way. I haven't been up to Kerikeri in about 15 years and was surprised to see how big the little town has become. The only muggle in sight was one sitting and reading by the beginning of the trail. I checked in one spot and tramyard looked in another and I soon located the cache.

Great hide. Nice placement for a quick find as the bus dropped us for the stone store. Thanks for the cache from Pennsylvania USA.
Found during a relaxing day on our TA thru-hike. This is a really cool spot, and as visitors from the USA we feel lucky that the trail passes through it!
New Zealand we are back again.
Hoping to find some caches at secret or interesting locations we visited today Kerikeri and the coast.
What a cosy place
Thanks to CHLYBN for hiding and maintaining.
Best regards

The view across the water towards the buildings is impressive. Stopped to take a couple of photos before making an easy find.
#1010. Day 13 of walking the Te Araroa trail from Cape Reinga and the 10th cache I found along the way. 223km down so far. Came past yesterday as well but it was pouring with rain. Today is much nicer.
Got a beautiful view of the stone store from here. Sadly the cafe is not open on Tuesdays.
The log was full but someone helpful left an old receipt in there so I was able to sign that.
Thanks very much for the cache!

Out exploring the far north on a glorious Spring day visiting the sights and collecting a few caches along the way, as you do. Headed over to GZ and made a quick find whilst the rest of the crew enjoyed the view back across to the old stone store. Signed the log, took some photos and carried on our way. TFTC CHLYBYN.
Great, quick find before retiring for the day, ready to watch the first All Blacks match of the RWC.
Today was the second day of our trip to the Bay of Islands region. We started the day by driving to the end of the road from where we spent the night after enjoying a nice breakfast. We went for a short morning walk along the edge of Lake Manuwai and started the day with my 200 find. Afterwards we made our way to Kerikeri. After enjoying a short walk to the fairy pools we made a short detour and then visited the Wharepuke falls. Afterwards we made our way to the Kerikeri Basin Reserve for a nice spot to enjoy our lunch and to visit the Stone store. This was a quick find once at GZ. Tftc.
A lovely tranquil place to sit and appreciate the beautiful places in nz. Easy find TFTC
After a couple of failed attempts of getting cloeup pics of chickens we made a successful find. Tftc!
Found. Muggle hubby was sitting enjoying a drink across the inlet at The Pear Tree and totally ignored us waving at him.
Thanks for our first Geocache find! Was a bit tricky as we had no idea what we were looking for but the kids enjoyed the hunt! How have we only just found out about Geocaching!!!
Trouvée sans difficulté attention à ne pas endommager le site en cherchant la cache
Found our nans memorial seat which was a nice surprise it was the last seat, I totally forgot about it and hadn’t seen it and didn’t know where it was ️
Having stayed the night on Ahora Island (we didn't see any kiwis disappointingly) we decided to do explore a bit more of the area before continuing our tiki trip. Very glad we did. This was a quick find.

Found with Trifolia Argentea while on a day trip to Waitangi and Kerikeri as part of our Bay of Islands holiday. The Kerikeri mission (the Kemp house and the old stone shop museum), administered by Heritage New Zealand, are definitely worth a visit!

Boxing Day - day twelve - Kaikohe - Kerikeri with The Seagnoid and Zara. Toby staying in Kaikohe - sick again. An amazing family in Kaikohe adopted us and are going to look after Toby for the day or weeks if he cant be fixed!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..
