I thought that I had moved continents here! I have seen all sorts of things caching but do not recall one of these before!
This was a really cool find.
The zoo was pretty much nothing like what we had expected.
We are wondering why and how you have one of those in your front yard!
Thanks for showing us it Pirateute.

Found this one on way home from caching event and it is lovely to be able to put a face to Pirateute. We even have a pathtag to remember you guys. Geokid spotted a giraffe and thought it was real - am thinking that maybe he was a bit tired after the caching event. Loved his comment though: "I thought it was real, gosh I'm an idiot". Maybe he had thought we'd driven to Africa???????????? Anyway, after spending hours logging caches from the weekend I can now sign off - thanks for the last cache and nice to have met you!!
Have driven past here quite a few times now we have a plant at Carisbrook. Very Interesting location. TFTC.
Found on our way to pre Easter. Beck got bitten by bull ants near by. So beware. Tftc
Another reason we love geocaching. Don't think we would have stumbled upon this unique attraction had you not brought us here. Geoson (3) LOVED it!
We were expecting a bit more of a menagerie but they must have done a Madagasca and escaped .
A quick find then onwards to the next cache

Out doing bit caching on National Holiday What an interesting set up to have in your yard. Wonder if nearby residence are aware of goings on when cars stop and people jump out and start searching. SL TFTC picked up a pathtag
The animals were amazing and not what I was quite expecting.
Waved to the farmer as he was moving hay down his driveway.

We pulled up here and were extremely surprised and impressed from what we saw. Unfortunately there was a man mowing the nature strip and we thought that locating the cache maybe out of the question. Another look at the GPS showed that it was still 50 meters off so Mark went over to talk to the man on the mower while Diane grabbed the cache. As it turned out the man on the mower was a local Lions member cleaning up the area for the annual turning on off the Xmas lights tonight. These lights would look absolutely fantastic in this setting but unfortunately we had to get home so couldn't wait around
Thanks Pirateute for the cache

Entry logged a bit late (4/12/10).
