Sneaky and shiny big box. Pretty easy.Cool container with the wires poking out.
Amazing container follow the fire trail dont climb the cliff. Found with Cjannaway
Drove partway up fire trail, short walk to cache Backed down, interesting, some slipping, lots of damp leaves!!! But enjoyed the cache. Dropped trackable
Found the silver box, flight recorder, loved it, good hide thanks GeoMonkeys
Thanks for the cache. Decided to go for a lovely evening walk and ended up here, oh what a hill.
After a brisk walk up the short but very steep hill, i came to rest opposite. Hmmm. Might try a bit further. That looks a lot better. Wandered over to gz, and there it was. Was expecting a field puzzle to get the log out, but surprise. Would like to come back one day, and walk these trails. TFTC.
We are on a five day holiday to the Central Coast, staying at the NRMA/Big4 Ocean Beach Holiday Resort (caravan Park) in Umina Beach. Looking to do some of the many Central Coast Adventure Labs, visit some previously solved Puzzle/Mystery cache GZs, and to collect any other caches we come across during our daily travels. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.
Today we visited Empire Bay, Kincumber South, Avoca Beach, Copacabana, North Avoca, Terrigal, MacMasters Beach, Bouddi, and Killcare Heights. Completed two Adventure Labs, and partly completed another, and collected a variety of other caches, including an EarthCache, a MultiCache, and numerous Traditional caches. This was the 24th of 25 finds for the day (day 2), and 29th find of the holiday.
Stopped at this one on our way back from some walks in the Bouddi National Park, Parked the geomobile at the bottom of the very steep fire trail, then clambered up the incline to GZ. Quickly spotted the entombed Flight Data Recorder, err cache, and signed the log. TNLN, then replaced as found. I don't know about a Flight Data Recorder,, but it's a nice box whatever it was originally used for. TFTC P3sKy_Geomonkey.

Out for a walk while staying for the weekend in the area. Windy, rainy day but rain held off for most of the walk. Found on the way back but phone was not to accurate but made a cool find in the wrong location before something caught my eye on the way back when I was having one last attempt to find. Bingo. Nice container.
First time in this area and really enjoyed the walk around. Did this cache on the way back for an easy find. Absolutely love the container! Thanks!
Heading up towards Gosford from Canberra for a friend's 21st and decided to make some stops along the way
Staying nearby at Ettalong Beach this was a short drive after dinner glad I have a 4WD which made getting up here even easier. After a quick stroll up to gz the large container was spotted. Cool container!

It was a pretty ordinary day today, with constant rain - we still had a great morning walking in the area with friends, we did get soaked though!
We arrived here at the front of the team, so while we waited, searched for this cache. Oliver spotted it from below. Great container, probably the best themed one I've seen - where can we get some?? Obviously everything was perfectly dry inside.... and fireproof too! FP added. TFTC!

After meeting with today's caching companions at a nearby cache, we made our way to this cache.
A quick find after I eventually made it up the hill.

A convoy of us arrived at the start of the track up to the gate: Banj5150, Mighty Minions, lee737 with the rest of his team, and barefootjeff. Although the track is well-made of corrugated concrete in parts, it was rather slippery today because it was covered in wet leaves, and the rain was just adding to the overall poor traction. I noticed my ute slipping a bit, so I put it into 4x4, and then the ride up was no problem. Everybody else did the same. Alas, Banj5150 had only 2x4, and under those treacherous conditions his ute slipped somewhat awkwardly off the road (something that's happened to me, even in 4x4 once). Thus, the first part of our adventure started with a little recovery operation with a tow-rope and a 4x4. Soon everything was good again, and the second adventure of finding a cache or two could commence.
A fine hide in a very interesting container. We added our names to the log book before putting everything back as found. I have to admit, I never actually watched the programme LOST. But at least I can say that this cache has now been FOUND.

So satisfying finding this! My first macro after taking the plunge with the subscription. Thanks for the hide.
I was hooked on lost so I was happy to have a lost série for my 300 find and it did not disappoint. But yes better not to spoil the end hey!!!!!!! Fav point , I have to!!!
**Total find count: 814**
We came here the interesting way. The roads are nothing like those in Sydney. I have no idea how some of these houses live on these steep slopes. But a different container from the everyday made for an interesting find.

Found with the stunning GeoBrat94 who will also find a new home for her first trackable! A stunning location...tftc
Amazing cache after a sketchy drive up. First cache of the year with TeamScozzy! Left my very first trackable behind to make its way home!
Awesome cache! Found with RangerNed who dropped in his very first trackable. All while the geotoddler slept in the car. Our first cache for 2019! Thanks
Traveling South to a friends engagement party. we just had to stop for this cache. SL TNLN.Thank you very much for this cache, We had this cache on our list. We missed the trail on the first pass then had to do a 3 point turn. Just then a local in an expensive Merc arrived looked at our very dusty 4WD and decided to wait. We found the correct trail and Stopped just below GZ and wondered over to the Cache. Upon returning to the car we saw another car parked on the lower level. we have no idea what he or she were doing. If we have exposed this great cache to muggles we are truely sorry. We just didn't see or hear the other car till we returned to ours. Fav for a great cache

Too many days recently with only one find. I need to get the daily average up - can't have less than 1000 finds in 2018!
Decided to head up the Central Coast for some numbers, but just too tempting to not go for a nice bush walk.
Found ten and there were a few crackers in them - gave away three Favourites, all well deserved.
And as usual, the Frog knows when I'm away from my normal caching area and published some new ones close to home... still haven't found the tracking device he has on *The Hademobile*!
And cleverly tried signing a few logs 19 September - I think I corrected them all!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Hmmm, can I head up there in the car? Answer was probably "Yes" but I ended up parking in a safe spot a few hundred metres from the trailhead.
That initial climb is STEEP! Had me worried I'd not make it to the multi nearby.
Closed in on GZ (wondered on the best approach, but then it became obvious) and actually managed to spot it from the back. Relocated so I could make the grab.
Fascinating container, and surprisingly heavy.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Onward and upward!

One the way home from netball today I was telling my girls about trying geocaching. So no time like the present. Lots of fun exploring. My 8 year old was super stoked to find it.

A great day for a walk on a beautiful winter's morning. Thankfully the find was much quicker than watching the series. Much better these days when you can binge watch these shows.

Decided on a last minute after school geocache hunt. Successful find & trade in the beautiful autumn sun. TFTC
After a bit of trepidation getting car up track we walked geodog and found yon box. I watched most of the series, enough to get the gist and keep wondering as well.
Clever cache

Went searching for this mysterious box with MummyPenny today. The good news for the survivors is that we found it and their fate is sealed. The bad news is that, well, um, they're um ...
Yes, I sat through six seasons too. Could it have ended any other way?
We signed and resealed but then a cloud of swirling black smoke drifted out of the box. I tried a long jump into it but it vanished just as quickly. Or did I?
Namaste.

Was out today with my bushwalking club. This one the group didnt go past, it continued down the tar road, while I ran up the hill to grab this cache. A quick find of a nice sized cache. SL and then ran to catch up with the group TFTC
We were out and about finding caches and this was one we found. What a great spot for a cache. We made it almost a driveby by going up the track next to the house with 23 letterbox. The houses in this area have a fantastic view. We tipped the water out of the flight recorder box. The other container with the log book was dry. Retrieved the TB to move on. Deserves a favourite for bringing us to a lovely area. Nice to see how the other half live. TFTC
Nice spot thanks for bringing us here. Maybe the quick walk up and spotted pretty quickly. TFTC
Really loved the cache. Brilliant idea. After a little rock hopping we were CIH. TFTC.
Found with ChelseaBuns, Nala and mum. Great cache Tftc. We drove as far up as possible Lol.

Our second cache of the weekend, and another quality GeoMonkeys hide. Drove right up to GZ and spotted the cool container from the car. When we win the lottery, I think we might move to this area! Left a couple of TB's, and that's another fav point. TFTC!

Christmas. Family. Boxing Day Sales ... yep, I went caching. I am in search of Larges so as to tick a final goal for 2015 and the opportunity arose to take the olds for a drive in this area (they lived here when I was a wee grasshopper - the area has somewhat changed in the last 40 years). Of course, I took the chance to nab this one - just one. Having checked out the bridges nearby, and the amazing waters, this road was, umm interesting, and I was glad I could make a quick find as the parking job was a bit ordinary. A lovely day, and a lovely cache to mark it for me.
Turns out it was the last one for the trip thanks to the rain.
Thanks for placing this cache, GeoMonkeys. Found in good condition.

Found with TOMBI!. Parked near locked gate and followed track to GZ. Nice views along the way and at the cache. TFTC
Nice easy find on my morning bush run. Great cache. Actually looks like it could be from a plane. Heaps of rubbish around. Will come back and clean up. TFTC
Wow what a unique cache, great spot with no muggles. Memorable as this is our 50th cache find
Round 2 of our Sundeel treasure hunt.
Initially we were looking for a track close to a place to park our car and then found the track, which started off as a driveway.
At the GZ the rescue crew found the lost flight data recorder relatively quickly and saved the day.
Signing duties done we stashed the cache and re-camo the sight. TFTC
