Spent a good while searching all the hint items in the vicinity. Only two really could match the hint but alas, no success for me. Could still be there somewhere but since it hasnt been found for 2.5 years, it may need a check.
Another day doing the caching rounds. Decided to stick a bit closer to where we are staying today and try to clean this area up.
Searched the obvious areas first then expanded out. Andy spotted the log in it's plastic bag over fence and used a tool from the car to retrieve it. We replaced log and put old and new in pill bottle and back at hint item. This should last until CO can do a check on it. tftc

Box was visible,, away from the tree and open. Therefore unable to log as logbook was soaked.
Placed back in centre and locked carefully.
Unfortunately nothing with me to replace logbook, sorry

TFTC! Cache may have fallen, lid was off, log by lid (starting to disappear into dirt), rest of cache container about a 1.5m away with bag. I note cache not had find logged since August (5 months). Gathered up cache and log and replaced in place that I thought matched hint. Log needs replaced.
Nice views today.

Heading home after a weekend caching up with kjr in dunnas, time for a few on my way nice quick find tftc
A quick and easy find, as the cache and coontents were strewn all over the ground, and look like they had been for a while. Put it all back together and added a new log sheet, and placed where I thought it should be. All good. Thanks
Queens Birthday weekend. Lets celebrate with some time in Dunedin. Today we toodled around Dunedin, then headed back home.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Today is grabbing some caches to reach my 2500 which I plan to do at the top of Palmerston Hill so with that in mind I needed to grab 12 today before facing the hill and this was one of them. Thanks for bringing us on a different road in giving us a different view of the section of the network. The Muggle friend I had is used to getting request for truck for permits on these roads and could see what they look like, so win-win. The cache container it self was out in the open ground and put it back in line with hint. Now onto the next one.
Heading to Timaru for the weekend so a few caches to be found along the way. Quick detour off SH1 and a nice easy find. TFTC
Out and about today on a warm winters day. The countryside looks lovely very green.
Nice cache in a lovely seldom visited area off SH1. Great nephew let out a WHOOP when he spotted it. TFTC cache Robert. Might see you at Philadelphios end of month?????
Had to backtrack to this one, but it was a nice day for it! Thankfully the hotwire wasn't so hot...TFTC.
Good job we had our handy dandy electric fence tester with us today. Met farmer and his 2 dogs and had a chat, all well. TFTC
Set out for a morning drive north for some adventures, then all of a sudden realised that I neglected an issue that should have been sorted by yesterday... meaning that I should have taken the bike instead!!!!! [B)] [xx(] A bit of panic, adrenaline levels just over the optimum, so grabbed one for day 3 of 31 and headed back TFTC!!!
Must be nearing my best solo day Geocaching. Lots of gravel roads and new places seen today. #374
We enjoyed the drive around this area, no other cars around, just the one sole jogger we past. Thanks for bringing us here Bitsprayer.
After a long drive on back roads I finally found Hawksbury Bush road. A rather pleasant drive through patches of native bush led me to the cache, safely cradled in the bosom of a tree.
Located on my trip home to the north after the MEGA - although many detours to the east, west and at times south!
Another good drive on gravel roads to the cache

Cool holey trees around this spot, we soon found the right hole though, thanks for this one.
On a caching trip with ingidayna to Oamaru and surrounds to get 1000 finds. Amazing views on this road, thanks for bringing us up here. TFTC
Found on a day mission to palmerston to get these green boxes, found with wethreefourdices TFTC

Found with Mr B on our run from Dunedin up to Oamaru. Nice to be away from SH1 for a while. TFTC
Mama has to work today but Granville is visiting from Invercargill so he, Papa and Guwapo packed into the CacheMobile and headed out for a days caching. Parked and grabbed! Salamat!
Here with Vicky and Mrs Daywalk Senior. Nice well-kept farmland around here- not a road we would ever have gone down except for caching.
Found at 12:23 on 11/11/2010.
Quick to find although I don't know if the nearby house occupants spotted me...
TFTC Bitsprayer!
