I headed out this afternoon to enjoy a walk rather than find the cache, which was a good call. I dug and delved with determination but no cache find for me.
Dug deep, didn’t find. On a bush walk with 10 others but alas, couldn’t show them a GC
My name is Angry Blob and i am a certified G and a bonafide stud and you can't teach that. ButtaBoom realist geocacher in the room. How you doin?
TFTC!! This was a nice little bush walk the cache is still in good condition however the log is quite damp.
Cheers

Accidentally missed this one during our 11km walk to kondalilla falls, so went back up the trail again when we returned for the car and found this one quickly. (If it's a wet day, bring salt to deter the leaches! I went home with bloody feet...) TFTC
Lovely day for a hike up to the top. Great area! Thanks for adding a cache to it!
Came for a family walk to Baroon's lookout. Soon found this after a bit of poking with a stick. Greetings from the UK.
For some reason I didn't have a problem with gps bounce. Yay! Quick find here. Tftc TechnoloD
After a month of laying at rest, we certainly had to be a worm! But it was in the "obvious" spot. TFTC. First of the day with The BF Fizzle
Found with possumcrazy hulioxxx and the golden goose ( muggle friend ). Nice walk in. TFTC TNLNSL
After a bit of digging, we found it! Thanks for enticing us to do the walk up to Baroon lookout!
Pretty good cache, found it in no time

We were in the area for a xmas break and took some time today to chase caches. This was our first of the day and we wondered if we'd find it after the latest log.
Not only did we find it but we enjoyed the walk to this area - we kept walking to the first little lookout and wow what a view - exactly why we do geocaching.

Tried looking for this one while visiting the area. Checked twice on the way to the lookout points and on the way back. We checked all obvious places, scratching under leaves but we could not find it.
Saw this one come back online so detoured on my way past today. After parking the geomobile I headed off for an enjoyable walk to GZ. Once there the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

I think that the listing should be disabled whilst it is being checked out.
Also 'Owner Maintenance' should not be used as a log type unless you have actually done some maintenance. It is not an appropriate log to use when you just intend to so some but haven't actually done any.

Thanks to all interested in this cache.
As I wrote a day or so ago, I'll be performing maintenance on this cache during August (it's just a bit of a journey to get too).
I would like to suggest that, regardless of your status on Geocaching.com, instead of adjusting someone else's cache's settings - you message them and get THEM to do it. It is, after all their cache. And to me, that would appear the polite thing to do. Or perhaps in the rush to be social on social media we've forgotten how to be social.
Thank you for your interest, I look forward to setting my own cache to "enable" again, by myself...

This one hasn't been found in over a year and there's been no response from the owner to emails or maintenance requests. The owner hasn't visited since May 14. Might be time to open the area up for other cachers.
Hello,
My apologies for the delay.
I will be attending to this cache within the next month.
Thank you for your patience.

The ulitmate geocatch tool! Used knife to dig out the scroll and used pen to wright on log
Great walk through the rain forest, found GZ and cache quite quickly - must have been my day. Been to this area many times but hadn't noticed this walking trail, thanks for opening my eyes to it. TFTC
Nice little walk this morning. Almost muggled by some grey nomads, but escaped with out lives. TFTC
Woooo found it.. Couldn't leave a note, the paper was kind of stuck inside.. But either way it's a beautiful walk
Out for an afternoon bush walk and hadn't been here for ages. Loved the tree seat. Gps was a bit confused on the way to the lookout so caught up with it on the way back. A few showers today, lucky we'd brought our umbrellas. Got to the Narrows lookout for a quick look before the next downpour. Found the particular Brush box and looked around in likely spots. Caught a glimpse of it deep down and Miss A retrieved with a stick after some fiddling around. The log was quite difficult to extract - the cache deserves a higher difficulty rating I think, just for this. Eventually got it out and marked our name. We placed the cache back in a slightly different spot that more fitted the hint description with leaf litter camo, and less chance of losing it in the depths. Then off to Montville for a late lunch. #463 @ 1400. Tftc TechnoloD
Enjoyed having some friends up from Canberra and doing this lovely bush walk. Walked for roughly 6km before a goanna that would not disappear or stop hissing forced us to turn around. Found this cache on the way out. TFTC!
Found this one almost accidentally, I noticed the sign. And Kyms curiosity found us the cache. Fantastic walk, would love to run and ride it next time. TFTC.
5 of 7 found while sight seeing around the hinterlands with a couple of muggles. Took ages to find as we started off on the wrong track after travelling across the bridge. Found the right entrance and then ended up down at the creek. lovely views though so back up the hill and down the right track. SL TFTC
Up for the weekend & out with some friends for a walk. Stopped at GZ & found the 'obvious' place. Nope. Rummage around a bit. Nope. Look at other less obvious places. Nope. After all 4 of us gave the area a fairly thorough look we were about to give up when along comes a young muggle family. "Are you looking for something? Something silver?" they ask. "Why yes, yes we are." Turns out on a walk last week Mr 5 had found this cool looking thing whilst searching for bugs & taken it home, so the family was out today to replace it!
A bit of fun
TFTC - contents in good condition.

Day 3 of 31 of the August challenge and I made the terrain more difficult then it should be not turning right at the fork.
Once on the right track the distance counted down until gz appeared.
Actual cache took some rummaging but found in the end.

Thanks for the cache! Easy find once I took the right trail from the carpark. No worries, other trail leads to a nice view.
Found on a solo great walk trek. First cache I have found for some time and only one for this trip. TFTC TechnoloD
Rainy, cold, windy....BUT FUN! Dad, daughter date in raincoats. For a bit of trivia we counted, and stepped on, 1300 boards on the track from Baroon Lookout back to the carpark, (including steps to Narrows Lookout). Followed by a lovely lunch in Montville.
Thanks for the fun cache!

MEG#3. This was our second longer walk for the day and it was worth the walk. Creeks, rain forest and waterfalls. I love this one. TFTC.
Out and about with the MEG3 mob. A nice quick find for the group.

Found as part of the MEG#3 group out on the hunt today.
Lots of us heading off into the bush today to grab this one.
With all those GPS’s and everyone having a chat it didn’t seem to take that long before we were at GZ and had the cache in hand.
I did enjoy the walk through this area.

This cache was mobbed as part of 2013's Mission Empty Glass (MEG) - tackling all caches in 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Mysteries, Micros, Multis, Mountains, Madness, the lot. MEG#3, the Glass Borders, was a day trip around the outside of the defined Glasshouse Mountains. I put out the call if anyone would like to join me for the trip, expecting I'd hope a couple at least to share the day ... was joined by up to 27 of us at the peak, in convoy. Big day out for some caches. Across the day we mostly consisted of myself with Censations, net88, La Kedi, Fangsoki, Sweet_bee, Bedmaker, TassieGirl, Jimmyproject, Karen_hippo, Brother Colin, Iolanthek, T-Tech, Hiltonclan, Nyssaflutterby, membsec, Crew153, Ms Maddy, Nurseyjulie, Hunting Rabbit, Dansync and Just-a-trifle.
After a little drive in the forest we arrived in the carpark and as a mob we journeyed along the path, towards GZ. Collective GPSrs did not have the path that goes straight ahead at one point, we turned right to follow the marked path. Correct decision and past the tree seat (see photo) we went. To arrive at the place that matched description, and hint, for a rapid find and mob signing.
Thanks for placing this cache, TechnoloD. Found in good condition.

We enjoyed a leech free walk along to GZ, happy that it was a cool day as I reckon it would get pretty steamy in here on hotter days. Quick find when we got close, then back out over the bridges and creeks. Loved the monster tree with the bench seat in it! TFTC, TechnoloD. =^.^=
Nice walk to the cache, some interesting sights on the way. Found with the MEG#3 mob. TFTC
Out caching today with the MEG#3 mob. Weather a bit overcast but the group fun made up for that.
Another quick find for the day.

Up the sunny coast with Crew153 and Nurseyjulie.
At this stage we'd joined the MEG#3 mini-event and were in the convoy. That's a 10-4 Big Buddy!
Wine is in the fridge chillin' out for my return home feet up tonight
All Hail to the delectable Pprime(p') for organising this jaunt in the countryside today

Found with the MEG#3 mob. Left the others to go for the walk as thongs were not really appropriate. Took some photos on the first section of the track. TFTC
I took part in Pprime's MEG#3 today This was my #22 for the day. T-Tech, Hiltonclan and I arrived quite a few minutes before the others, and when they arrived we realised we'd missed the comment about the slight change of route to another nearby cache first. Ah well, we'll pick that up on the way back out later. This was one of our longer walks, but was quite pleasant through the rainforest. The seat in the tree was very quaint. I was at the head of the long queue of wanderers, so arrived at GZ first and made the find, then we all trudged back to the cars to head off to the next one. TFTC, TechnoloD.
Headed north out of Brisbane with IolantheK set for a big day of caching through and around the Glass House Mountains as part of Pprime (P`)'s MEG#3 mob
For those not in the know MEG stands for "Mission Empty Glass" or to explain, P` wants to bag these caches and a bunch of us cachers went along to get them as well [^])
A great day was had by all with a mile stone or two to boot.
This was cache 23 of 39 finds and 3 DNF today [^]
Nice forest walk to reach this one.

Cache number twenty-one for me whilst caching with the MEG #3 group. This was quite a pleasant walk through the rainforest ... i was very worried about leeches as quite a few had been found so far today but it seems i had no reason to worry i left without anything except mosquitoes enjoying my blood. I am so lucky i got to see one of the rare seat trees. Thanks for the cache technoloD
MEG#3 MOB, Cache 22
Beautiful trail up the hill. Loved the tree seat, just don't get eaten. Nice easy find next to the path.

Finally after over 20 caches The Hunting Rabbit, Ms Maddy, Nurseyjulie ,dansync and myself had caught up with the rest of the pack and could join the MEG #3 group for a combined hunt for a a cache.
An enjoyable stroll along but my GPS was telling me that we were going the wrong way until I found that I had the coordinates for Baroon set. So I was surprised when we came to an abrupt halt and the people up the front were holding up the cache.
