#14,687. Been caching all around Blenheim over the past three days. This time I am picking up a few out to the southeast. Parked nearby and headed off to GZ. The hint helped narrow down the options and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks bumandworker for hiding your cache here.
All good with the cacheLiving really close by , this one was more or less a must to look for Well foundTftc
Cache was a quick find thanks to the hint, despite being well covered in leaves and white tree fluff and now I have fluff sticking to my clothes too. Cheers bumandworker
Nice find while out walking the dog.....
Good spot, ️ Definitely needed that hint.
Really nice to see all the birds nests in the tree

It's raining, it's pouring, the caches are calling! Fast find with Aurora11511. TFTC
I lovely place to visit. The sun was shining through the trees and the water was sparkling. A most interesting barn near GC. Prolific lemon tree nearby. TFTC.
The holidays are here and another tour begins: ‘The Very Top of the South Tour’. With GraciesGPSFun at the moment before NosyNel and Jude_E join us in Nelson on Monday.

A quick and easy find today. I don't know why I missed it last time, though now I read the logs I can see why. Thanks for reinstating!. Thanks

One for the road. Heading back to Chch after a great weekend in Beavertown. Thanks for the cache. #3371
Checking out whitebaiting spots while over this side of the hill, might have to come back for a look sometime.
Woo-hoo my one hundred geochache yes tftc I loved it my GPS was playing up so widened the search and found after 10 mins
I know over recent seasons some of the Blenheim white baiters have done very very well, I wonder if this is the area they were fishing or if it was somewhere else. Either way this is a nice peaceful area. A few ducks were on the water nearby but other than them all was still and quiet.
As I was biking towards GK a big dog rushed over and was barking at me - on my return journey I was peddling like a mad thing so that if the dog came out again I would have been gone and up the road before it even realised. Didn't need to use all of that extra energy as I did not even see the dog let alone hear it.
Thanks Bumandworker

Quick find this afternoon! Great spot and nicely hidden! Visiting from Canada. Signed the log and replaced as found. Dropped off a travel bug to move along. Thanks for the cache!
QEF on the way home from work at the Riverlands estate. Thought I had better knock this one off before it starts getting too dark for such a foray. TFTC nice spot down here. Sometimes use it for lunch in the summer...
After completing some work in the garden and a bit of essential grocery shopping this morning, Kiwimykl and I went caching to see if I could break the 1000 cache barrier today. That would mean getting 26 caches this afternoon, but during KMs research for today's caching adventure he discovered five caches that I had inadvertently missed logging. I still needed to visit four of them to confirm the date I signed the log.
Our target area today was around Seddon and the road between Blenheim and Seddon which resulted in 40 caches in total.
Kiwimykl already had this one which could have made it easier for me, but I didn't need his help for a QEF PnG. Seems a nice place to take the Jetski, but I guess we would be limited to 5 knots, so a bit of a waste.

Round and round the mulberry bush? Nah, just round and round this one a couple of times before we found this cleverly hidden cache. Thank you bumandworker for bringing us to this area.
With the GIFF 2015 event as an excuse a list of caches was compiled. Some unfinished business, some old and some new. The strip was pretty much deserted with just two stands manned and one net in the water. At GZ I was somewhat apprehensive because of a number of wasps circling the main feature and I've been caught out twice with them taking a very unwelcome interest in me when caching. While formulating an approach Holymu produced the goods so no worries. Thank you Bumandworker
[Red] Thanks for Supporting the Geokids program, making geocaching more fun for kids across New Zealand so kids aren't sad when they find geocaches . Have dropped some swag into the cache.[/Red]

I love is reserve.
Caught crawlies off the wharf with the kids, taken the dog for a spin in the inflatable (pissing the baiters off somewhat) and sat in the sun on relaxing lunchbreaks.
Cheers for the cache, really enjoyed!

I've had this cache on my watch list for a while now after attempting it a couple of months ago only to find the RNZAF was having an officer leadership exercise at GZ. Today the rest of the RNZAF Team Geocaching were spread far and wide, so a joint lunchtime caching run was out of the question. Needing a daily cache to keep my streak going, I selected this one as the rest of the team already had it.
Lunchtime was spent at the Clubs of Marlborough facility where the NZ Blood Donor Service were in residence, so after making my donation I headed for this cache. On arriving at GZ, c:geo (I forgot to bring the eTrex 20 with me today) pointed me at a likely feature so I headed over to it. As I got closer, I noticed a few bees swarming in the area and thought I had come across their hive. Circling my way around the feature, I saw the likely hide which a closer look confirmed was it and once the cache was removed and opened, I was impressed with the full pages of logs within. I added my name to the list and returned the cache as per the directions.

Beautiful spot. Despite an angry mother bird trying to dive bomb me it was a quick find. Cftc
A beautiful day in Marlborough. Having had lunch on the River Queen, moored up in town, my Wife and I decided it would be quite nice to go for a cruise along the river. Off home to get the dinghy and the dogs and back down here to the launching ramp at the end of the reserve. We had a great little trip up the river towards town. The dog's enjoyed peering over the front of the boat looking at the ducks. Having successfully navigated the waterway it was time for me to pick up a cache. Boat back on the trailer and we had the reserve to ourselves. Park and grab on the way out, nicely tucked away here and a great location for a cache.

Down from Canada visiting with my daughter and her family in Blenheim. Some of the family were busy doing their own thing so crman1 and I took advantage of the nice weather to hit the geocaching trail to see what we could find. Like this cache hide as it was really so natural and didn't seemed staged like a lot of others. QEF with crman14. TFTC
Out seeing how many caches we could find before the junky weather set in. Turned out to be a pretty nice day. Found with eltee291. TFTC!
It was still early as we came of the boat very early. So now it was time for a swim for the doggies.
[green] I'm starting to go stir crazy - I haven't been out on the bike for a while. So the hell with study and the possibility of rain, today is the day to escape from the military, for a short cycle from the Air Force base to the coop drain just south of Blenheim and back.
I'm surprised white baiters come here. I would have thought that this river was too deep. Tried to take a photo of the sunken boat, but my camera told me it can't get to the SD card. Might have to reformat it.

We arrived at GZ and there was a District Council man just sitting there in his truck at the corner. We accessed and realised we would not be in view so went for the cache. I had a little groan once I saw the ivy but Mum spotted the cache immediately for a quick easy find. The man was still there when we returned so we swapped pleasantries and left.

Find #189 for the BAMMJams - an easy but interesting hide! The mini-BammJams took out a green block and replaced it with a dice, and we signed the log. TFTC - enjoyed this one.
Made it harder then necessary, but when we were about to give up something looked strange. And yes, there it was. TFTC

This was a pleasant short detour off the highway, both for the historic malthouse and the peaceful waterway. Where to start looking upon arriving at GZ?? Fortunately the cache was found relatively quickly.
TFTC , injured myself looking for this one , lifted the boy up for a look and rotten ground gave way, apart for a few scratches and bruised ego I'm fine.
The stench me rotting flesh met me at this one, and the culprits, a sheep in the river and a couple of possum on the bank
The blue led me straight to this cache.
Despite being originally from Blenheim, I never knew me this place.
