Logging the mint tin as it's removed from the hide. A couple of trads in the area now. TFTC
Never too late for a cause célèbre. Once I figured out what a bison was, it would still have been nice to light upon this one if it was still intact. Camo'd micro drop at GL with full copy of log at obvious place. Thanks for bringing me here. Still in place after a year.
Fifth caching stop as Tufty and I rode the Clutha Gold Trail to Beaumont. Didn't spend very long looking. What is the use of half a bison? Cache should be archived.
First Millers Flat cache after coming through from Beaumont via the Millenium track, quick find. TFTC
Only realized what this was a couple of days ago, funny that your cache would bring me back here so quickly. TFTC
Another cache on my April Central Otago caching trip with my grandparents, where I went from Dunedin through to Queenstown. A good reminder of many past caches found. TFTC
I put a new log in and baggy round the cache. Unfortunately the old log was compost. cheers from casa del hince TFTC
TFTC, a straightforward find despite builders building nearby. Log is now pulp, sorry unable to rectify, my normal caching bag was at home. I have a photo as evidence if the CO requires it. Nice to see the remnants.
The juniors and I made a quick detour on our ride from Pinders Pond to Beaumont and it had to be quick because we were concerned that Big Fuzzy would ride past us coming from the other direction where he had dropped the motorhome and rode back to meet us! TFTC Onslow Fisherman
Once a busy railway station, time has all but eroded any sign of its existance. Mother Duck was quickly into finding the cache ... no doubt assisted by the discovery of a pen.
I'm sure that most people who drive past here wouldn't be aware of the platform that is right beside them. Thank you for showing us this reminder of the past.
This is what geocaching is all about. Interesting.
Thanks for placing this cache!

Quick find on way through, brought back some memories of staying on other side of river when younger, TFTC!
Another good spot with some great history on this old railway system. TFTC.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
It certainly was quiet out here today, and as we sat on the old platform, we soon spotted the cache

We found this cache as part of our NZ Mega Event adventure as we were slowly making our way back to Christchurch to fly home. We had spent the night in Gore and initially thought we would not be able to find any caches today due to the wind and rain. Just as we were heading out of town though, the sun broke through and we were able to slip a few finds in as we headed north. We were able to locate the cache quickly enough and with the log signed, we jumped back into our cache mobile and were off again. Thank you for having placed the cache Onslow Fisherman
Last day of our MEGA cache raid so we decided to head further south before our flight home tonight.
The rocks and smell of tyme has encouraged us to plan a trip to Central Otago TFTC.

Took Geo-grandad out to find this one and he was quick to point out his Uncle lived in one of the railway houses as he worked at the station here. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Found it while on a geocaching trip with Kev n Chris and Kevnic. Interesting history. TFTC
NZ12. The rain was making things difficult, but I poked in the wet and came up with this one, so only a bit wet. Thanks.

It's only if one knows what to look for that it can be seen what was once here.. the platforms is a telltale sign of what was here.
The cache was found easily.

Took quite a while to find cache. I couldn't get the log paper out of the container as it was jammed in there quite tightly. I got a piece of paper from the car, signed it and put it in the cache bag. I hope this is ok. TFTC.
Headed out on the bike pre-dawn for a 30 cache raid on the Lake Onslow/Millers Flat/Beaumont area. Over the Old Dunstan Rd to Paerau and over to Lake Onslow. Saw at least three others caching in the area and played tag with one down the Millenium Track. She told me that there had been a caching event in Roxburgh the previous day which probably explained the number. I think it was just before or after this cache that I passed the aforementioned lady in a blue Peugeot caching at a hide I had found a little while ago. It was the start of a leapfrogging game of tag from here and down the Millenium Track.
Quiet corner with everyone at the MF School 125th anniversary celebrations. Really interesting sites on this cache trail.
