#8197Back o Bourke Day 2! Dubbo->Bourke.Were on a road-trip chasing some LGAs we need between Coonamble and Kyogle, via Cobar and Bourke. The car is packed with TOTTs and snacks and we are prepared for long drives and short walks, hoping to gather the required LGAs without damaging our DT average in the process, all the while logging as many trigs as we could get to....I'm thinking ladders, perhaps balanced on top of shoitbox holdens? Thanks for the cache!
#8194Day 2 of our Northern/Western NSW Roadtrip.Dubbo -> Bourke via 4 missing LGAs.Another long, but not quite as long, driving day. Heading out of Dubbo, through Cobar then north to Bourke for the night, pretty much grabbing anything that isnt a 1.5/1.5, especially high DTs, but theyre sparse out here anyways end of copy paste Quick easy find here, all in good condition. I reckon this tank would look better if they just allowed the graffiti, then there would be less random tags and stuff. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache farmer--brown
Found I did a u-turn to come back for this as a car was riding a little too close for comfort behind me and I could not pull in when I wanted to. The car in question ended up stopping also! I am wondering if they too were going to look for it..I wont ever know as they left after I parked.
Coords were excellent but still took me crawling under to spot it.Definitely following drobbonz in reverse.Normally we are caching with them but they went a different way after we left Gladstone a month ago.Tftc
Whilst on our half lap convinced muggle driver to make a few stops here and there to make some finds. Thanks ps late logs sorry
Thanks farmer-brown! The second time here and this time Ive found it!! Greetings from Orange.
Quick stop on our way to Dubbo. Some dedicated graffitists to graffit half way up and on top! Thanks for maintaining the cache
I see what you mean about the graffiti, but its out in the middle of nowhere, so TFTC, good one
I missed this cache on my way to Cobar, as my Tom Tom thought I should go several more kms down the road and do a U_turn there and then come back here. No worries, as I could find this on my return journey today. The vegetation was dripping with dew, leaving me damp too. Well hidden. I picked up the TB 'Geoswag - Temple Romulus coin' and dropped off the TB 'Musk22 der Reisende'. TFTC farmer--brown.
On our travels we found ourselves heading for Cobar and took the opportunity to grab some caches, geo hubby took the honours for this cache, thanks for placing it
TFTC farmer--brown your cache Grafitti - How Do They Do It? that we found today as we made our way south for Christmas. We left Nyngan this morning with a plan to stop at Cobar. But as often happens plans change and we continued towards Wilcannia stopping along the way until we reached McCullochs Rest for an overnight stop. All caches found relatively easily and good places to pull over with Motorhome and car in tow. Great to be able to stretch the legs every so often.Find Count: 17262 .
Now heading on the homeward stretch of my adventure, finding a few caches along the way. A quick find was made here and my name added to the log. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Thanks for pointing out another great rest stop. Sure is lots of graffiti. Nicely hidden.
We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to farmer--brown for the generation of this nice cache Grafitti - How Do They Do It? (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
A long drive from Sydney to Cobar. As we were getting closer, we pulled over at the rest stop for a quick stop, stretching the legs and finding this cache.
Indeed...how did they get grafitti on some of these places.
TFTC.

Not very edifying graffiti! On a mission travelling north to Charleville for a BIG event with CybergranV. Of course we are stopping enroute dodging raindrops to explore part of our great vast land and collect a few geocaches along the way. TFTC, the info and the fun.
Found by Mary and David at at 09:50. No head for heights for us. Would need more than a telescopic ladder. Took us a while to spot it with our old eyes. Great to see recent logs from so many of our friends, all bound for QOGM. Our thanks to farmer--brown.
A beaut chance to stretch the legs a bit on our journey from Cobar to Nyngan.
I spotted it and Ronice88 retrieved it.
Having an enjoyable trip as we head to QOGM
Thanks for the Abandoned Structure attribute

Day 3 of my trip to Geraldton to see old friends that aren't traveling too well aiming for any adventure labs, earth caches and virtual's and of course any others that appear on the radar.
I was not intending to stop at this one as I just stopped at the previous one but as there only two caches on this road the decision was made to stop and have a look anyway. The question on the ca he page is quite a good one, how do they and another good question would be how do they not get caught in such an exposed area. That will probably be one of the mysteries of the universe but at least I can happily say a name has been added to the cache that is here.
Thanks farmer-brown for putting it out and raising the question

Yep , how the hell do they get the graffiti up the top!?! We wondered if the camera signs deter them, doubtful!
Thanks farmer--brown for the placement.

Found with Mummy Penny this arvo. Are really under 24 hour surveillance here? Probably not as it seems the graffiti and dumping continues. Thanks farmer--brown.

Fairly quick find after lifting up several objects first that weren't rocks. Finally located it and had CIH. Signed log and on our way again. Yes, how did they do the graffiti on here?? We can't stop the car as other than a hill start, we have no way to start it... starter motor is poked so hogtailing it to Dubbo to get a replacement. Wish us luck!
Stuck behind a slow moving truck so pulled off to grab this one. I have often wondered how the graffiti can be so high - one of those highway mysteries.... TFTC
They are certainly clever!!! It’s so high!
Stopped in here as part of our Great Western County Hunt. Needing to stretch our legs on the drive we pulled in to have a go at this one. Thankfully it was a resonably fast find on a hot and buggy day. All in all, it has been a truly incredible trip, as I managed to pick up the last four counties to fill in my NSW county map. A super exciting thing to complete. Thanks for enabling our crazy adventures. Thanks for the cache.

Lovely camo but easy to spot if you ate looking. Wait for gps to settle and its spot on.
The rain set in as we left Cobar so we got wet finding this one. Not sure why (or how) anyone would bother to get the grafitti so high up. TFTC
One really wonders how they did do it. I hope the camera has put a stop to their activities. We love the rain but it makes off road parking and caching difficult. We got wet finding this one. TFTC

Taking a few days of R&R to wander around the great outback. Giant kids must live around here. The container was a bit too exposed to the elements so placed some additional cammo on top. Cache and log are in good condition. TFTC!
Grabbed this cache on the way east. I found out how they did it! see Piccie. TFTC.
That is something we also pondered on arrival. We didn't have to ponder about where the cache is hidden. TFTC
Found after leaving cobar heading to dubbo for a couple of days on our lap of Aust. Cache and log in good condition. Thanks for the cache
Easy find
On the final leg heading home from the 17th National Caravan Rally in Albany.

I would really like to know the answer to that rhetorical question. Ladders? Ropes? I dunno.
A quick stop for a leg stretch on our way west. Lots of goats making the most of some water leaking at the base.

What a pity people dump rubbish everywhere. Sadly your peanut butter jar fits in well. Log signed, legs stretched. A lovely time of the year to be travelling. Tftc
Driving along the road all I could see smiley faces, then spotted one that we hadn't found. Quick find, signed log and replaced. Thanks to farmer-brown
On our holidays traveling around Australia and this one was one of the caches we grabbed while in New South Wales.
