All caches were found sometime between 5:49am Friday 2nd and 6:28pm Sunday 4th November.
I’ve been invited to attend a special event in Wollongong on the Saturday, well why not make it a whole weekend away with some caching to go along with it. About a month ago I started looking at caches I could find along the way and noticed that if things go to plan I could make my #1000. This didn’t end up happening. I found out when I approached the GZ’s of a few of the caches I had chosen didn’t have parking space to stop and/or were difficult to find which lead some caches into DNF’s. I did however love finding all the caches I did find and to end on an even happier note the last cache I found was a FTF (GA13111)!!! There were lots of great camos and styles of hides that I hadn’t come across before and new styles for common hides that provided me with plenty of fun and ideas for new caches. Most of the caches I found were in great condition but for the rest of them, the maintenance required is log books/sheets and/or containers need replacing, camo needs replacing, D/T and coordinates need correcting. On some of the smaller logs I signed as 2/11 JM, 3/11 JM and 4/11 JM. TB visit on all found caches over the whole weekend. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the locations I visited and for the fun it provided me over the whole weekend!
Weekend totals:
45 Finds (41 Groundspeak and 4 GCA)
4 DNF’s and a lot of drive-bys
Cache Types: 7 (Trad, Virtual, Mystery, WherIGo, Trig-Point, Earth and Multi)
A nice quick find here. TFTC
P.S. Sorry about the generic log.
P.S.S. All Caches found have been logged in order and backtracked to the correct day.

A fantastic little series of 100 caches today plus 50 others to get 150 finds on a day yet again. Yes I know it took Loci622 and I 13 hours but it was worth every min.
**This Cache**
Another hide in this series! Went from only one find in this unique series, to three in only a short period. Shame to see most of it is archived however A cool idea, although obviously very hard to maintain which is understandable, especially given they are all in different directions!
Thanks for the cache, quick find here, disturbed a massive cockroach though, eww
*See generic log below of today's adventure*

**The Day:**
Today consisted of teaming up with Darksidedan, AngelG27 and joeylovestreasure to do the Tarago powertrail by ALL7. After finishing up at 1pm we all enjoyed lunch in Bungendore, before parting ways. Myself and Dan decided to keep going and spent a further 6 hours caching till dark! We went through Goulburn, Breadalbane, Cullerin, Gunning and then looped around back through Murrumbateman to finally return home.
All up a huge day that totalled close to 13 hours by the time we were done with it!
Thanks to all the CO's for providing a great day out

Found it on way home from work but the 'bark' cover was off in plain view. Re-hid.
Heading home from the Lake Macquarie OZGeoMuster, we stayed at Goulburn last night, and are caching our way to Albury today.
This was a nice quick park and grab, and leg stretch too.
Recorded the code in case we ever stumble across any of the other In Extremis caches. TFTC Hoojar & Chip.

On our way home from the MEGA. Feeding our addiction with a few more along the way. Thanks for the cache
Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching. Log signed and returned to its hiding place. Thankyou for the cache .
T4TC - Nice quick park and grab. Not sure I'll get amymore in the series but I'll keep on mind.
Moving day today so off from Golbourn to yass with only 2 stops along the way as the temperature rose today it was nice to get away early to this the second of our 2 stops.
ThanksHoojar & Chip I have collected the information from the lid of the cache hoping we can collect some others and find the final so begins the collection of the data and don't expect it to happen fast but hopefully it will happen.
Grand Cache count = 567 total consisting of 535 Traditionals, 18 Multi, 5 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual and 3 Event.

Heading South to Melbourne for a trip we 'cherry picked" some caches along the Hume. I have done many Hoojar caches in the Illawarra . Visited a few TB's. Cache in good conditions. TFTC Hoojar.
Wondering back home after the Alexandra event. 2858 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache Hoojar, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing. Please take a bow. we did many caches today and most if not all were in good condition and actually there. We cache in a lot of country towns, the caches on the open roads are usually there but the town ones are a mixed bag. The cache owners around here take a bow. really well done.
Find Number 1340, found at 13:33
Heading to the Mega at Alexandra GeoSon NationalSteel and I met up at Nowra and drove to Wodonga on the first leg of our journey.
As the description said, this was an easy find beside the road. The hint wasn't necessary as the hide was obvious to the geocacher's eye.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
We used the first two days of our trip to travel from Melbourne to Goulburn, caching along the way. For most of the travel we focused on caches on the north bound side of the Hume Freeway. We spent a few hours between Wangaratta and Beechworth on the rail trails – we try to find a number of caches in this caching mecca each time we come through the area. We then spent today working from Goulburn back to Yass finding caches on the south bound side of the highway. We then cached around the Murrumbateman area before heading back to Goulburn for the night. Although there were a few light showers, they didn’t interfere with or enjoyment today.
This was our first cache hunt for the day. We were able to pull off the highway and due to accurate coordinates and the hint, we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hoojar & Chip for the cache,
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 126 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 89.2. Progress is being made but there is still a long way before we achieve our goal.*****

Doing Sydney to Cootamundra and back in a day, it was nice to break it up with a few caches along each way.
A nice quick find here. Certainly wasn't expecting to find two of this series in a week!

Found this back in September. Just realised I have forgotten to log my cache finds. I did sign the log so you should find my chicken scratch squiggled across the page.
On a georoad trip to Adelaide to watch the cricket with new to the geogame Azzepious along for the ride. On the trip we aimed for several cache types in one day as well as caches in three states in one day.
We were both amazed at how many caches there on the trip, making our journey much longer.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches.

Ask me if you want to know what name I **signed the log book** transferring finds to this new caching name. Was OCW and as part of “Team” Throsbyonchurch.
Found it . -- 10:00 AM -- SL TNLN TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here.
Cache in good condition. Log book getting full.
Headed down to Jerrawa hunting down a trackable that had apparently gone AWOL following my drop just over a week ago. This cache was on our way so we obviously stopped for a find. The weather is not much chop, 8 deg temps and harsh cold winds blowing 45km/h plus some drizzling rain. All in all, it wasn't too bad a day to find caches on the hop. Figured I wasn't going to waste a drive down this way for nothing, and would cache our way back home.
Didn't realise this cache was part of the In Extremis series until I have come to log it find. Excellent, another tick off my series' list.
Fortunately for all concerned, we found the missing trackable which had dislodged itself and landed with a thud on the ground. Incredibly elated that I found it and it wasn't missing in action for too long.
*** NO trackables found in this cache ***

My time in Queensland had come to an end, it was now time to head back to Melbourne but there were a few caches that needed to be found on the way.
I noticed this one on the side of the road so I decided to stop and have a look.
Once at GZ I was able to make a quick find and continue and my way.
**Thanks to Hoojar for placing this cache.**
