Endlich mal wieder Internet - und gleich zum Cachen genutzt. Tftc and greetings from Minimuff from Mannheim / Germany
All good here. The cache was a quick find for us today.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the twentieth and ninth day of Julius Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a cool cloudy and raining. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Arrived in Katherine today, and after setting up, had to head into town for some shopping. Stopped while pasing this one for a quick find of a cache in the obvious spot. Signed the log and replaced as found. Container is slightly damaged but is still well serviceable. Might be a problem when it rains though.

Went out to the Cutta Cutta Caves this morning but couldn’t get in because the misses had open toe’d shoes, will try again tomorrow morning with steel capped safety boot At least we had some time to grab a few caches on the way back to the museum and then camp. We also grabbed a few caches later on the way out to the Hot Springs this afternoon.
Quick grab on the way past, all in good order.
**Thanks for placing this cache Liz and Bruce**

We didnt do a tour of the school but it looked nice. These days with so many changes to education due to Covid we wondered if it was still a thing to have School of the Air but its not just the education that matters its the feeling of community that these children would feel from the constant connections.
We were staying quite close to this cache so a wander down the road after dinner was the order of the day for this one. Our cabin had a shower, toilet and laundry outside the cabin which made us smile, they called the business a Resort, not what we were expecting but it had a great air conditioner yah.
Thanks Liz and Bruce and The Gspoters for the cache. Found it, signed it and replaced safe and sound as found. TNLN

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
This was a quick find while passing by.

Tftc we are from the Blue Mountains NSW and have found it very intetesting to visit the area. Hot
A walk with beavar after our dinner to grab just one more cache for the day. Only a short stay in Katherine, as we travel back to Darwin tomorrow. SL at 7.45pm. Saw a few geckos under the street lights and narrowly missed being soaked by the many sprinklers spraying in the picnic area. #8613 Still pretty warm this evening and there is a ‘wet’ moon overhead. TFTC Liz and Bruce for highlighting this wonderful facility to connect remote school children in NT.
After a lovely dinner took a short stroll for this one after dark. SL at 19.45. Still pretty hot. With Harrowang, TFTC.
My husband and i are on a 8000km road trip from Brisbane to Uluru and we detoured to Katherine. We stayed not far from here so this morning we picked this up on our way to Tennant Creek. Wow what a large classroom. Very interesting. Thank you for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Our last day in NT, it's been great. TFTC Liz and Bruce (maintenance by The Gspoters)

SJG66 and I spent a few days in Katherine enjoying the local scenery and the caches. Thanks to all the local CO's.
I would have liked to have seen the school in operation as we just visited a family on the Coburb Peninsula who's son attend a school supported by the school of the air. Just not going to happen I guess. Thanks Liz and Bruce and Gspoters for bringing geocachers to this important place.
We had a lovely morning collecting smilies on our drive back from the gorge and this is a cache we found. The little one revealed itself quite quickly when looking at an angle All good here. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce.

Searching at the wrong places for a long time.. it is always at our first instinct and why dis we not follow ut but its found yay
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving around in the Kakadu NP.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Liz and Bruce (maintenance by The Gspoters)' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'World's Largest Classroom - Katherine' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Arrived a little too early for check in at the hotel, we decided to find some caches. No one here today, strange way to go to school. TFC.
Something about the cache:
**================================================================================
Arriving to Katherine a little to early to check in. We choose to find a few caches in the town first.
No one on the street today, we where able to search and find the cache.

Something about the day:

From october 16 to november 6 2019, my wife (lp.dk) and I visited Australia for the first time.
After a flight of more than 20 hours, we landed in Darwin. After 2 nights in the city we continued in a rented car first towards Kakadu National Park and later towards Alice Springs.
In Alice Springs we were picked up in an off-road bus and went on a 3-day trip into the wilderness, with overnight stays in a tent close to Uluru.
Back in Alice Springs we drove all the way to Adelaide, from where we flew to Sydney, where we visited our son who has settled there.
After 5 days in the city, we flew back to Singapore, which we visited for 2 days before the final flight back to Copenhagen.
In total, the trip lasted just over 3 weeks.
On the trip we would like to find / visit as many Earth caches, Virtual and Webcams as possible, but also the other kinds of caches when possible.
================================================================================*
No trade.
Found together with lp.dk
Thanks to Liz and Bruce for this cache.
Found the 20-10-2019, as cache number: 11953.
